Vince said early 2015 on the Austin podcast.

R-Truth has plenty of charisma though, his run with The Miz was great. Much better than anything Cesaro's ever done.

Has there been any change in sales tax over the last month that might explain people suddenly being charged $11.99, a state that never used to have it now does or something?
Think that's what it was, I was using California I think? Iv'e cancelled now anyway, wasn't using the service. Might get it back around Rumble time.
-
Thought it was woeful tbh, just like a normal episode of rubbish new Simpsons with a few Futurama characters (barely except Bender) shoehorned in.
-
Thanks again Chokeout, great jobÂ
-
Thanks for the Hogan, any chance of an Xmas hat or summit for my avatar? Please.
-
I've been charged 11.99 this month too

Hogan has been xmased up for me before but I don't think I have it anymore. Would be obliged if someone dazzles up him and Jimbo for me

Grado and household name, we've been there beforeÂ

He was never really run out of town, he had to sell ROH in the immediate aftermath but he always kept going with RF Video and new shoot interviews. Iv'e always thought it was abit off so many people still want to work with him etc but I suppose it's just they either don't know/don't care and want the money.
-
I very much did, thought it was funny had potential to get even better if given time. Bit of a spin on Curb in alot of ways, awkward humor involving a douchey lead.
-
Weren't there plans to bring him in for the McMahon funeral Raw after the limo explosion too? Could swear I remember something like that at the time.
-
Has anyone else played The Witcher 2? Thought it looked good as kind of an elder scrolls lite to tide me over but jesus christ the cutscenes are endless.
-
Not to derail here but what do people think about Chubby Brown, I interviewed him a few weeks back and he seemed a nice enough bloke (to me in the context of the interview I mean), when I asked him about the material he made some very good points but spoiled it a little by going off on one about the EU.
Â
He also made the point that Chubby is a character and one that entertains thousands every year, his standup shows sell out regularly across the UK still and his DVDs sell in the 10,000+ region every year.
Â
When I asked about the racist, sexist material he said that things like immigration, feminism etc are things that are talked about rightly or wrongly every day by many people in the U.K and that's where he draws his material from and writes it for the ordinary people.
Â
Either way he's definately alot smarter than his "you fat bastard" persona suggests.

Dolph Ziggler would probably be a WCW guy, strikes me as Johnny B Badd type is hyped as having potential for years and years and never doing anything to prove it. Also dull and bland.
-
Was a cheeky reference to Bubba Ho-Tep Johnnyboy, love that film.
-
Knowing how off the wall Shannon can be it's a pretty great casting choice. Wouldn't have minded Burce Campbell as The King either!
-
I never got the hype for Ledger in TDK. Aaron Eckhart as two-face stole it for me.Â

Considering seeing TMNT. Anyone seen it who can add to bono's deep and thorough review?
Â
Also, what the fuck is a 12A?
I mentioned it a page or so back but it's an enjoyable way to kill an hour and a half, flimsy story filled with typical Bay action scenes but Fox, Arnett and Fichtner are all good enough in it and the Turtle stuff is fine, particularly for fans of the brand. Wouldn't expect too much but if you can turn your mind off and enjoy some mindless entertainment you might like it.
-
The Rock is one of my favorite movies, Apparently Tarantino and Aaron Sorkin worked on the script though so i'm loathe to give Bay too much credit. His Turtles film is ok in the kind of escapist entertaining want to do something for 90 minutes that distracts me from life kind of way. Wouldn't watch it again but it wasn't awful either. I too very much enjoyed Pain and Gain despite much of what it's critics say about it being true.

Wasn't Bischoff a massive mark for Pillman? He would probably still have been lost in the shuffle, stuck in with the nWo like Rick Rude or something similar.Â
-
I always found it strange how they got away with pretty much flaunting the fact they ripped off the idea, it's like doing a friends ripoff called Pals or doing a show about a Taxi company called Cabs or something, at least pretend it was an original idea even if everyone knows it's not.
-
Definitely worthy of a thread. I think his injuries would have left him too far gone to be a big time in ring player, wouldn't have been surprised to see them try and transition him to some manager/announcer/on screen role in an attempt to take advantage of how good his character was.
What have you been watching on (proper scripted) telly?

I'm a big fan of Party Down too, Scott and Ken Marino are great but it's a great cast, suffers abit when Mullally replaces Jane Lynch. Some great recurring characters.
