I know it's not strictly Source, but SWA have a show coming on Friday and with the two being linked, I think it's worth keeping it in here. It's Clan Wars on Friday and there are three matches on the card.

SWA Originals ( Eric Canyon, Adam Shame and THE LOWLANDERS~~~!!! ) vs. SWA's Second Generation ( Scott Renwick, Damien O'Conor, Falcon and Black Samurai Jr. )

SWA T Division Trophy: Dicky Divers © vs. CJ Hunter

Club Money ( Paul Tracey, Liam Thomson, Kid Fite and Mark Anthony ) vs. Team Source ( Joe Coffey, Andy Anderson, Nathan Black and John "The Bomb" Graham )

That is a belting three matches announced so far. Anything else due to be announced?

Agreed! A lot of good names condensed into those matches alone! And two Clan Wars bouts should make for an interesting night.

I only really deal with the Source Wrestling 'division', I believe there will be a Women's Gauntlet and I have been told that one absent talent will be making a return to SWA. I'm sure that information is scheduled to be out before the event (maybe tonight or tomorrow) but will be cross-posted to the Facebook account as soon as it's online.

I'm unsure if there should be a Clan Wars thread - or if we can keep it in here since we're sending in Team Source to fight their corner...

But to keep myself reasonably on theme - the week after Clan Wars, Source will be back in Bridgeton (Saturday Sep 3rd). The full card has been announced online already (url=http://scottishwrestling.co.uk/events/?event_id=50]here, for those interested[/url], but the main event might change depending on the result of the T-Division title match at Clan Wars.

Currently scheduled for September 3rd; Dicky Divers will defend his T-Division Championship in a triple threat match. On one front he

With a day to go before Clan Wars, the wonderful Mr David J Wilson has added some of the latest pics from Source in Clydebank, as well as our invite only Source Wrestling School friends and family show, and in anticipation for tomorrow nights show, some vintage Clan Wars photos from 2006 are now online.

Click here for the SWA Online Photo Gallery

As mentioned above, the Source stars will be in action at Clan Wars as the new generation battles against the core of Scottish wrestling in two seperate Clan Wars matches.

The match was not as good as the 1st one & was a bit rushed

Post match Falcon celebrated with the originals as the celebrated some of the Source students took exception & attacked then & in the melee Andy Anderson cashed on his Money in the Bank opportunity

NWA Scottish Heavyweight Championship

Andy Anderson def Eric Canyon [NEW CHAMPION]

1 simple roll-up seen the power of most of the titles slip away from the originals as Andy captures the Scottish Heavyweight Championship

* Lewis Girvan vs. Jackie Polo seemed to go a bit pear shaped at times, but they recovered well enough and I quite enjoyed it. The crowd didn't really seem to care either way about Polo untill he decided to smack some kid's cap to the back of the hall. They took notice at that point.

* The women's gauntlet wasn't bad. I like the kinda Vader-ish feel they've got going with Viper, although it was kinda lost when she got eliminated pretty much right away.

* The first Clan Wars match was probably the best match of the night. The babyfaces were over in a big way. John "The Bomb" Graham in particular. He's a big piece of work. He was cleaning house left right and centre and the crowd were eating it up.

* CJ Hunter vs. Dicky Divers was pretty good. Not the awesome I was expecting though. Chris Renfrew coming into the match was a nice surprise.

* The main event had a good twist at the end. I was saying "Falcon was actually an original" before the match started and sure enough he winds up joining the Originals in the end. The match wasn't bad with lots of good characters in there.

Enjoyable show.

Under the Clan Wars ruling (only one member of a team could win the match) did a situation ever occur where partners on a team had to face off to decide who won?

yes!

if i remember CJ stood victorious in one of the original clan wars matches after beating one of his fellow team mates

Announcements from SWA Online:SWA returns to the Bargarran Community Centre in Erskine and The Link in Cumbernauld this weekend in a cracking double-header, with two very different events planned. On Friday night, The Bargarran Community Centre will be a battleground as the stars of Source are challenged by an unholy alliance of Originals and Forsaken. On one side, "The Delectable" Dickie Divers will lead Source standout talents Tommy Daniels & Christopher Saynt, against the veteran team of Eric Canyon, Glen Dunbar and a partner yet to be named. Can the young guns come out on top against some of the most experienced and craftiest veterans in SWA history? And then, Saturday night, Source returns to The Link Community Centre in Cumbernauld for another top night of professional wrestling, with plenty of scores to settle, and even more on the line. The tournament to crown the first SWA:Source champion continues as SWA T-Division champion, "The Cutting Edge Original" CJ Hunter takes on the masked man from Japan, Black Samurai Jr in the final quarter final of the tournament. With CJ surviving a title challenge from Dickie Divers(more on that in a moment), and Black Samurai getting a big win over Glen Dunbar last week in Spittal, both men are on form coming into this one, and it's anyone guess who's going to join Damian O'Connor, Scott Renwick & Mark Anthony in the final 4.The SWA Laird of the Ring, Joe Coffey is also back in Cumbernauld. The most dominant Laird of the Ring has now held the title for over a year, and hasn't looked like losing it any time soon. But how will he fair when he can't prepare for a challenger? Coffey has thrown down an open contract for Cumbernauld and said anyone who wants to step up and sign it can get a shot at him. Last time in Cumbernauld, Jack Jester signed on the dotted line and gave Coffey one of his toughest defences. Everyone in the SWA wants to be the man who can stand up and say he dethroned Joe Coffey so literally anyone could take up the challenge on October 8th and could walk out the new Laird of the Ring!!While CJ Hunter has the Pride of Scotland tournament on his mind, two other men in Cumbernauld will have revenge on their minds while they fight for the right to take on CJ for the T-Division title in Govan on November 15th. Last Saturday night in Rutherglen, Glen Dunbar viciously assaulted Dickie Divers, who was a count away from regaining the T-Division championship, a title he himself had taken from Dunbar. Dunbar told Divers that while the title was important, he would be coming to get him first. But Dickie Divers is no stranger to a fight, and both men are gunning for each other. With the Source GM making this a #1 Contender's match for the T-Division title, the stakes could not be higher, and the bad blood any more boiled over!Speaking of boiling over, Last Saturday in Rutherglen was a wild night. And no one was wilder than John Graham. "The Bomb" has most certainly proverbially ran wild amongst the members of Source Wrestling. Rutherglen saw him destroy an unwitting challenger in 60 seconds of unyielding fury. And guess what, he's told SWA Online he's going to be in Cumbernauld. And worse yet, he's said that if an opponent won't sign up to face him, he'll find someone, willing or not. Excuse me if you find me hiding in a corner somewhere when he's around. May whatever god his next challenger belives in have mercy on their soul. All this and Women's action featuring Kirsty Love, and Britain's Most Wanted in tag team action...it's going to be quite a night in Cumbernauld!!
