AntiDote Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this but on WWE’s euro shop they have 2 WWE Undisputed Universal belts, one for £450 and the other for £225. I’ve tried asking their off-shore “thank you please” chat but can’t get a straight answer out of them. Does anyone know what the difference between them is, other than just the price? https://euroshop.wwe.com/en/title-belts-title-belts/d-1240906052-1284013863+z-9-1904075859 Quote
Paid Members JLM Posted March 11 Paid Members Posted March 11 I have never purchased a belt but I thought the difference might be in the wording “replica” vs “commemorative”. So the replica one is probably as close as possible to the real deal with chunky metal plates etc. and the commemorative one will be a lower quality build. A bit of googling brought up some Reddit posts along the lines of “commemorative belts are trash” but again I’m not a replica belt aficionado. Quote
AntiDote Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 Thank you for that. I’m thinking of getting one for my 11 year old and I’m not sure he’d notice that much of a difference unless the differences are particularly egregious. Quote
Paid Members JLM Posted March 11 Paid Members Posted March 11 (edited) Ah here we go. I was on the right lines, breakdown of the differences video here. Commemorative is also smaller. Still looks pretty snazzy to me though, I can’t imagine an 11 year old being disappointed with it! Edited March 11 by JLM Quote
AntiDote Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 Wow, you’ve absolutely nailed it, thank you. The replica may be 100% more expensive but it does seem 100% better quality. Nice find, much appreciated. Quote
TAFKA Jonny Vegas Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Or if its for an 11 year old you could look into buying one direct from the belt maker in Pakistan who has an Instagram page and offers a range of different plate thicknesses all for much lower than £225... Quote
AntiDote Posted March 14 Author Posted March 14 Ok but would you trust a Pakistani IG owner with that sort of money? I’ve had too many bad experiences like that Quote
AntiDote Posted April 25 Author Posted April 25 Just an update, I bought my boy the replica belt for his birthday, it really is a beautiful piece of work, you can’t help but admire the workmanship. Oh my son? 3 weeks in and he’s still stuck in batshit crazy mode. He absolutely lost his mind when he opened it 😎 Quote
