I still think the WWE deal was a bargain for Netflix, which is why I can understand them being happy enough missing out on US rights to PLEs. Peacock and ESPN will have driven the price up past they were willing to spend. They've already got US WWE fans signed up and they wouldn't get the bump in advertising to justify it.
