Top 10s 2024

[Fog Dude]

My mate stuck on a film on streaming at his house a few hours on New Year's Eve, which meant I just about managed to watch 10 11 a dozen movies released in 2024 before the year was out so I might as well rank them according to my mood at the start of this year crossed with my own terrible taste: 

1. Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl (watched on BBC One on Christmas Day, not in the cinema; might be recency bias but I think it belongs in top spot)

2. Deadpool & Wolverine

3. Sonic the Hedgehog 3

4. Fall Guy

5. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

6. Wicked

7. Civil War

8. Hundreds of Beavers

9. Inside Out 2

10. Challengers

So Venom: The Last Dance and IF both miss the cut but it turns out a couple of those in the top 10 were forgettable even if I enjoyed them more. I also caught three older films for the first time and rewatched 14 on DVD plus a few more on linear TV but I'm not gonna even try to put those into any subjective order.
