Empty Arena in a different Era

You'd probably be alright in the 80s. A lot of the format is squash matches and pre-recorded promos and you can at least have Heenan making funny quips on commentary. Plus everyone's so coked out of their minds that they'd probably come up with enough crazy shit to make it interesting. 

Obviously they'd probably go bankrupt from the lack of live gates. 

Same with the territories really. You'd miss how hot those studio crowds could get but at least you're not stuck doing big arena shows to nobody. Again, they'd be knackered without the live gate though. 

A lot of the time when you watch Attitude stuff back you tend to think "that was shite but the crowd were hot" so I'd imaging that would have been fucking awful. 

I'm curious what WCW (pre-Russo) would have done with it. They'd have a fuck ton of money to throw at it but due to technology and the way they shot the show you'd imagine it wouldn't feel as over produced as the WWE does. Depending on where you are in the NWO run you've potentially got 1 or 2 good episodes there. Although it wouldn't really feel like WCW without fans hurling shit at the ring.
