diamond_dust
Had to buy a new laptop last week as my PC died. I downloaded utorrent, set it up for the same port as my old pc, set up the same static ip so the ports would already be open but XWT showed me as unconnectable. Checked the fire wall it shows utorrent is allowed through so I started again from scratch and now my ports don't even show as open. Anyone know how to fix this? I've spent about a week trying this now and only managed to make it worse.
Dirty Eddie
Which version of utorent are you using? I'm sure that XWT is a bit funny about that and will only work with version 1.7.7 at the latest.
King Pitcos
uTorrent is for closeted homosexuals. Vuze is the torrent client for men with big cocks and balls.
diamond_dust
I have the latest Utorrent and it worked fine until a week ago on my desktop it was just when I changed to the laptop it went tits up. I'll give vuze a try though. I don't think the problem is with the client though as I've just run through setting it all up again and the checker on port forward says the port is open but the router cannot be pinged. Â *Edit - Vuze seems to have sorted it. Hopefully it'll stay that way.
