3CW - Friday 4th May 2012 - Billingham Synthonia

Rumours of our demise were, as it turns out, somewhat premature! 3CW returns from a six month hiatus for its first show of 2012 on Friday the 4th of May as we return to our home venue of the Billingham Synthonia Social Club for another amazing night of wrestling action from the North Easts longest running active wrestling promotion.

We will have a huge NORTH EAST CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH to cap off the evening, as 3CW North East Champion Mohmed Ameen will do one-on-one battle with long term rival and former Champion Dragon Aisu for the strap. With the shadow of a showdown with former friend and mentor Cameron Kraze looming, Ameen will first have to deal with the insidious Aisu, and with the long history between the pair this is a score settling battle itself!

Also in action will be 3CW favourite JAMES SCOTT. The former DARKSIDE will face off against fresh faced North Eastern newcomer MICKY MANN, who will receive the opportunity of a lifetime as a part of one night tournament to crown a new number one contender for the 3CW Championship! It's a sign of the regard in which 3CW newcomer Mann is held that he has been given such a prestigious match for his debut... but it's surely not going to be an easy one against the world travelled veteran Scott!

Also in action...

*3CW is proud to have two serving members of our Forces amongst its alumni, and are delighted to announce that both will return to action on the 4th of May. Not only will LANCE THUNDER be gracing us with his presence but fresh from a tour of Afghanistan, KID RICHIE will be in action!

*CHRIS WHITTON, freshly aligned with the 3 Count Mafia, will be in action, alongside former tag team partner ANDY SWAN. The two are likely to clash, with matches still to be confirmed!

*Ireland will be well represented on the 4th as former 3CW Young Lions Champion "ALL STAR" ANTHONY IDOL will be making his first appearence in some years, and not only that but DARRAGH GALLIGAN, he of not being an Elephant fame and indeed Joe Scott's Best Friend will return! Darragh has apparently been taking singing lessons, however, and he will return to woo the ladies as "The Housewives Favourite" Darragh O'Donnell! You'll have to see this to believe it!

Indeed - we all rate him very highly at 3CW! The Prince Ameen gimmick originated here, and since then he's gone on to lose his riches, beg on the street outside of shows, find redemption as Cameron Kraze's lacky and ultimately regain the North East Championship! Lots of back story, haha.

While Eden still helps out at our training operation, he hasn't been active in a little while as far as the shows go, and thus won't be appearing sadly, abide you may well see him bodding about anyway  update coming just now!

And more details on Friday's show folks...

Dragon Aisu has unfortunately been forced to withdraw from Friday's event due to reasons beyond his and 3 Count Wrestling's control. Worry not, however, as the North East Championship will still be contested, in a bout with international implications! It was not so long ago that BMW wrestled the Tag Team Championships from around the collective waists of Cameron Kraze and Mohmed Ameen. With that victory under their belts, Damien O'Conner of the Tag Champs will now receive the opportunity of a lifetime as the Irishman looks to take the North East Championship back to his adoptive Scottish home. It's a bout with international implications, a first time ever singles bout and a huge opportunity for Ameen to avenge the Tag Title loss - don't miss it!

Kris Travis has fast become a favourite at 3 Count Wrestling in recent times, with the former Tag Champion trading wins with Iain Robinson and boosting himself up the singles rankings. He'll now get the opportunity of a lifetime to challenge for the 3CW Championship - if he can go through three other men in our contendership tournament! With newcomer Micky Mann set to take on the mammoth challenge of former Champ James Scott in the other bracket, Travis has a similar uphill battle. He shall face off with his former trainee - the now WWE-bound "MVK" Val Kabious! Val, who has in the past couple of years made a huge impact at 3CW himself, will indeed be making his way to Florida in the coming months - but not before he attempts to take the 3CW Championship with him!!

It's always a pleasure to welcome former Tag and North East Champion and current serving member of the Armed Forces Kid Richie back to the fold, and he's going to be involved in a very special tag encounter. Richie will team up with the man who replaced him on his departure as the tag partner of "Simply the Best" Chris Whitton, "Pitbull" Andy Swan, as the duo face Whitton himself and a very special tag partner. Imported from Ireland, a former rival of Richie will make his return as "All Star" Anthony Idol will be back to wage war with his former 3CW and CPW nemesis!

3CW have a proud tradition of importing some of Scotland's top talent, be it James Scott, Conscience, William Grange, CJ Hunter, Adam Shame and many more. On Friday this tradition continues as we'll welcome Source Wrestling stand outs Joe Coffey and John "the Bomb" Graham! The two have torn it up all over Scotland and will now bring their rivalry to Billingham - don't miss the debut of these two new stars!
