Rock and Wrestling 18+ Night Full Results

Destiny vs Amazon - Falls Count Anywhere Street Fight

The opening contest was a hard hitting match, which had many members of the audience commenting on how they wouldn't like to face either of these two.

Early on the action left the ring and circled the venue. There was liberal use of light fixtures, the walls and even part of the bar. Eventually the brawl returned to the ring and Destiny went for her trademark standing splash. Amazon managed to roll to avoid this, and started to use the ropes to regain her footing. It was at this point that a certain Mr Lee decided to enter the fray and attack Amazon from behind with a kendo stick. This allowed Destiny to cover and score the winning fall.

Bud & Bex vs Scott Fusion and Karl Kramer - Hardcore Tag

In a change to the advertised TLC, the second match was a hardcore tag match. Bud and Bex took an early advantage utilising weapons to their advantage. After hitting a series of double team moves both Fusion and Kramer were sent to the outside. Bex (I think it was Bex) then climbed up a piece of the framing around the nightclub, and proceeded to jump down onto both opponents. The action returned to the ring fairly quickly and Bud took the kendo stick to Fusion's back, leaving a rather purple patch. After tags out, Kramer hit Bex with a bin shot that sent him from the ring and busted his head open. This was followed by pure chaos as all 4 men hit each other with a range of weapons.

With Bud and Fusion fighting outside, Bex decided to get a table. Once it was set up Kramer reversed and knocked Bex down. As he climbed to the top to set up the big splash Bud slid back in and threw Karl through the table! Bex hit a diving headbutt before covering and scoring the win.

Bud and Bex weren't finished there. They offered their opponents 10 more minutes, which was declined as Fusion and Kramer retreated backstage.

Aaron Sharpe vs Aron Frost - Chain Match

The object of this match was not pinfall or submission. It was more the simple task of touching all four corner pads uninterrupted. Not so simple when you are chained to your opponent. As the contest started Frost touched the pad behind himself. Sharpe matched this by touching the pad behind him. A tug of war ensued. Frost got the upper hand and knocked Sharpe down. After touching two of the pads Frost was stopped by a Sharpe attack. They then proceeded to alternate strikes and chokes with the chain. Frost scored numerous 3 counts, but was always cut short. Sharpe however seemed more determined to take out his opponent completely first. The match ended up outside of the ring, with both men taking hard slams onto the floor. Sharpe then attempted to go around outside hitting the pads, but was cut off at 2. Sharpe took a nasty hit to the ringpost and Frost climbed back in. Sharpe, still outside, used the apron to assist in blocking Frost from hitting all 4 corners. With both men back in the ring Frost took his opponent down again and then managed to get 3 corners before Sharpe rose and stood between him and the last corner. In an impressive display of atheticism, Frost climbed to the second rope, leaped over his opponent and hit the final corner. Unhappy with his loss, Aaron Sharpe beat down Frost rather brutally post match.

Ricky Knight vs Sam Knee - Anything Goes Thumbtacks Match

This match also featured different rules. The only way to win was to pin your opponent while he is laid within the thumbtacks. This was another match that left the ring early, and Ricky bloodied Sam with a brutal looking kendo stick shot. All the favourite weapons made an appearance, with the faithful bowling ball finding itself within the hands of Mr Knight and then swiftly into the groin of Mr Knee. Sam sent Ricky to the outside and then proceeded to pour the tacks into the centre of the ring. His attempt to takedown Ricky with a shoulderblock was stopped many times, before Ricky sent Sam into the corner. As Sam rebounded out Ricky backbody dropped him into the tacks, then hit his seat drop and scored the winning fall.

Overall a great debut for the Hardcore show. I don't envy the person clearing the matting of beer and blood though. By the end of the tag match you could have got drunk off that ring...
