UEWA announces first qualification matches for European Cruiserweight Championship!

 

As it became well known in the past weeks, the UEWA (Union Of European Wrestling Alliances) is going to bring in the European Cruiserweight Championship for wrestlers up to 95 kgs in 2011 with a big show at the Kanonhallen in Oslo, Norway on May 21st. Some wrestlers are already on the very rocky road to Norway, but who will finally reach Oslo?

 

 

The first qualification match will be held on february 12th in Tangstedt (near Hamburg), Germany being promoted UEWA-affiliate Catch Wrestling Norddeutschland. CWN just announced this match as a four way elimination match. Pierre, who is a great cruiserweight wrestler and an even better tag team wrestler alongside Michael Knight in

February 23rd: James Mason defending title in Wales! // European Cruiserweight Championship Qualification Match

 

Welsh Wrestling is going to start the year with a big show at the Theatre Elli in Llanelli, Wales on February 23rd. This show will not only include a title defense of European Heavyweight Champion James Mason, but will also see Welsh Wrestling

I doubt I'll go to the Oslo show even it's only 20 minutes away, but I just need to be childlish little bit here :)

Kid Fite?! Fitte means pussy in Norwegian (with two T's but it's not going to sound much different). I'm not sure how many Norwegian wrestling fans will pay to see a kid pu.... :D

Pierre qualifying for Oslo // Next Qualification Match announced!

 

On Saturday night, Tangstedt, Germany, witnessed the first qualification match for the European Cruiserweight Championship Tournament in Oslo on May 21st. In a spectacular four way match between Da Mack, Axel Dieter Jr., Pierre and Kid Fite from Scotland, it came down to Pierre vs. Kid Fite after Axel Dieter Jr. and Da Mack eliminated each other with a double-pinfall. PBW announces their wrestler for Oslo // Next Date for Qualification Match announced!

 

As already announced, on february 12th Pierre was able to qualify for Oslo and will be proudly representing CWN in the European Cruiserweight Tournament. One wrestler being really upset with the outcome of the match, was Premier British Wrestling
