Billy_Loomis
Nothing special with the belt. More generic. I saw that based design once before. Had make a better one. But that
Truth
Isn't the UEWA an alliance with several promotions and not a single promotion? Maybe they decided that this belt was a better choice for their cruiserweight title. The belt looks great! I like the idea of UEWA with a number of promotions taking part in the tournament
Paid Members neil's bitch Posted May 20, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted May 20, 2011 The Belt looks "Ok". It looks similar in design to the Future shock belts. I must say it looks no where near as Important or classey as the UEWA heavyweight title.

SSW
No news yet from either show. Remember the Heavyweight Title is also being contested between James Mason & Bad Bones in Germany tonight as well. Isn't the UEWA an alliance with several promotions and not a single promotion? Maybe they decided that this belt was a better choice for their cruiserweight title. The belt looks great! Thanks. And yes the UEWA is currently home to 11 promotions, 1 per country except 2 for England.

dangerously420
Well done to Sean South for becoming the inaugural UEWA Cruiserweight Champion. Also well done to Bad Bones John Kay for becoming the new UEWA Heavyweight Champion. I hope all got home safely to their own countries with the news of the volcano eruption in Iceland this morning and there has been no flight disruption for anyone. SSW
It seems right that the Heavyweight belt is heavy and the Cruiserweight belt is lighter too. On that note the HW belt does weigh 5kgs and can cause extra costs to fly around Europe with baggage charges whereas the Cruiser belt is lighter and will probably never have that problem so its a sensible choice also. From last night: I'm told Bad Bones climbed up to the top pointed to the sky, yelled "Oh yeeeaaaah" and hit a flying elbow drop to win the Heavyweight belt. Randy Savage would be proud. I'll post some pictures of the two new champions soon and hopefully a video clip of the above finish.
SSW
Very First European Cruiserweight Champion crowned // James Mason loses Heavyweight title in Germany! Saturday, May 21st marked the biggest night in the young history of the Union Of European Wrestling Alliances when James Mason lost the European Heavyweight Title in Germany while the very first European Cruiserweight Champion was crowned in Norway. James Mason travelled to Pinneberg in Germany for his seventh title defense against top challenger “Bad Bones” John Kay from Germany. Close to the 20 minute mark, Bad Bones used his home advantage and came flying from the top rope with a “Ooooh Yeah Flying Elbow Smash” dedicated to the legendary Macho Man Randy Savage to gain the successful pinfall over the The Technical Wizard from London. After the match, an overwhelmed Bad Bones received a ten minute long standing ovation by the enthusiastic Pinneberg-crowd. At the same time, about 800 kilometres north of Pinneberg, the long awaited tournament for the European Cruiserweight Championship took place at Kanonhallen in Oslo, Norway. Eight of Europe’s finest cruiserweight wrestlers came together to fight for the newly introduced European Cruiserweight title in a one night tournament. After wins over his own tag team partner Liam Thomson (Scotland) as well as hometown hero Zackariel (Norway), Kid Fite from Scotland went to the finals where he had to wrestle Sean South (Ireland). South previously defeated Wild Boar (Wales) and Doblone (Italy). In the end, much to the delight of the terrific Norwegian audience, Sean South was able to beat Kid Fite following a brainbuster suplex and become the very first European Cruiserweight Champion. Much like in Germany, both wrestlers were greeted with Standing Ovations by the fans. More information on the tournament will be available shortly. Both shows have been taped for DVD release and will be available soon. On behalf of all member promotions of the UEWA, we would like to thank James Mason for being a great champion. But of course, we would also like to congratulate both “Bad Bones” John Kay as well as Sean South on their success and expect them to be fighting champions. According to the rules of the UEWA, title defenses can be expected in all UEWA partner promotions in the next months, taking both wrestler to Ireland, Spain, France, Denmark, Italy, Germany, England, Norway, Wales and Scotland. More information regarding UEWA and all its member promotions can be found at www.uewa.eu or www.facebook.com/uewawrestling .
