Two great young talents in Nathan Cruz and Sam Bailey, there.

NGW has slowly been building a name for itself over the past two years and have recently delivered consistently strong shows.

Advertising is second to none (there are always loads of posters promoting their shows around Hull City Centre) and they have some great talent at their disposal.

I urge anyone who can get to Hull to check 'em out (although come armed, cos Longhill Estate is not a place to be alone and unarmed late at night :) )

At NGW, we're proud how step by step over the last two years everyone involved has grown immensely in their role. We've grown individually and collectively together to get to the point we are at today. One of those elements is our video production and I think the people involved with our production have produced arguably our best ever for our end of year finale.

Totally agree with your comments, on top of which NGW have invested on a brand new stage set.

Stixx looks to make an impact

At Eternal Glory II on Saturday November 27th, Stixx makes his long awaited return to New Generation Wrestling. Stixx mainevented the very first NGW show (Genesis in May 2008) in a very well received match against Dave Mastiff (formerly Moralez). The match help set NGW off on the perfect footing. He returned a few months later, but since then, he hasn't returned. After a two year break, Stixx is back to prove why he is regarded as one of the best heavyweights in the country.

His 'return' match isn't going to be any easy one though. Bam Bam Barton, along with his tag team partner, SC Supreme, has made quite an impact in recent months. The pair were embroiled in a feud with local boys, The Storr Brothers over a long period of time, which produced some heated matches made unique by the size difference in the teams. At Collision Course, Bam Bam Barton was seen with his partner in crime, SC Supreme and possible new running buddy, Dave Breaks, being paid off by Richie West to unleash a beatdown of epic proportions on Dave Rayne. But at Eternal Glory, Barton will have no back up as he goes one on one with the Heavyweight House of Pain.

Stixx will also be taking a training seminar on the afternoon of the show at Eastmount Recreation Centre. The sessions costs

Mexican Civil War

Dara Diablo finally ended his year long losing streak at Collision Course last month by beating former head NGW offical, Mikey Fitzgerald. Dara had constantly blamed for Mikey for his bad fortune. According to Diablo, it seems that some curse has been broken over him and beating Fitzgerald was some kind of spiritual unlocking for him. At the end of the match it looked like Dara hadn't finished when his frustration seemed to overflow as he grabbed a chair. But the resilient Fitzgerald gave him one last look of defiance and Diablo dropped the chair, gave him a nod and walked off.

Diablo is now telling anyone that will listen that he is now reading to go back on a huge winning streak! To really test his claim, NGW haven't made it easy for him by putting him in with the experienced fan favourite El Ligero. The two paths have crossed more than once in the last year. The two interacted in critically acclaimed four way, with Dara frustration clear to see El Ligero getting cheered for being Mexican while all he got was a negative reaction. Diablo even tried to match Ligero by putting on a lucha libre mask and trying a death defying dive of his own!

The two also met at Auld Enemies Collide on opposite sides of a six man tag match but this will be the first singles encounter between the two. The whole of Mexico will be looking on interest as two of their native sons go one on one as the South American nation implodes!

This interesting and unique match brings out various issues and tensions. It was at Summer Smash Brawl III that Team Venum (Jack Gallagher & Scott Adams) debuted their new mentor student alliance, but it was Matt Myers who suffered in the process, having his already damaged wrist set upon ruthlessly by Adams, directed by Gallagher. At Collision Course it was Myers who came out on top against Team Venum as he chose El Ligero as a partner to score the win. In the first half of the year, Myers also had an intense war with 'Textbook' Dave Breaks about who was the better man. This even led to Breaks clearly costing the local hero his opportunity to become the NGW Champion.

Matt Myers tag team partners will be tag team favourites The Storr Brothers, Danny V & Avian. While there to support their friend and long time training partner, they also have unresolved issues of their own. At Collision Course last month, Danny V was scheduled to take on The Rockstar Spud until he threw a diva strop and refused to wrestle but brought his hand picked replacement, CJ Banks. Danny V lost after going up top for his well known 450 splash only for The Rockstar to push him off the top, an injured Avian from his match with Joseph Conners earlier in the night, hobbled out to ensure no more damage was done to his brother Danny V. Rockstar Spud nor CJ Banks are scheduled for Eternal Glory II and there's is doubt whether Spud would be welcome back to NGW after his last minute, unsanctioned withdrawl. But people close to The Storr Brothers say that the two are furious at what happened and are desperate for the opportunity to get their hands on the pair.

Just got back, quick results:

- Revealed a very impressive new stage set up (with video projector screen). Showed hype video for the event.

- Stixx def Bam Bam Barton

- Dave Breaks, Jack Gallagher & Scott Adams def Matt Myers & The Storr Brothers

- Colossus Kennedy (with Richie West) def Dave Rayne (After the match Kennedy tried to take out Dave with a steel chair, Stixx made the save and challenged Kennedy. Richie West said no)

-Interval

-El Ligero def Dara Diablo (4 times). I think I'm right in saying this match had the first ever in ring Mexican Tequila drinking contest. 5 star comedy match.

-Main Event: Sam Bailey & Nathan Cruz set to have a one on one title match, only for the shock return of former champion Alex Cyanide.

Sam Bailey def Nathan Cruz & Alex Cyanide to retain the NGW title.
