I quite like how run ins generally take a while in AEW. It should take time to get from the backstage to the ring, unless you're all stood by the tunnel for the whole show.

Bringing in Trae Young to troll MSG, again, is a level of awareness you don't usually get from this company.

Show was very solid, Brock was superb. 

A huge moment, and one the crowd absolutely rose to the occasion for, a real joy.

Have him arrive at the start of the show outside the arena in a Ferrari flanked by security ala MJ, lean into the ‘First Dance’ aspect. He can even park next to the statue. Crowd can lose their shit there, then he can appear proper in the ring to close the show. 

Outside of a few niggles, a home run of a first show. Made up for Fuego, will be scenes on the vlog next week.

Fair play they’ve added intrigue to QT with his stable, he needs to really lean into the ‘sleazy trainer’ aspect of it though, and basically dress like Roland Alexander.

Enjoyed the Darkplace reference from Excalibur, he needs to work Won Ton into his commentary next.

Feels like Laredo will eventually sub into Death Triangle to keep them all faces, whilst Penta can break away with Alex and be a nasty bastard. All for it. 

Considering all the shit he's put himself through over the years, its remarkable Waltman has aged as well as he has. Fair fucking play.

They run four PPVs a year, have absolutely no issue with them going a little longer.
