I watched a bit of Blue Jasmine about 5 years ago and there's a joke in it about age gap relationships and that was about it for me. My favourite of his will always be Manhattan Murder Mystery even if it's nobody else's.

Couldn't be more with you on that to be honest, an utter joy of a film.

    This is astonishingly generous.

The share price spiked because him coming back probably confirms a sale. And sales of profitable companies are attractive to investors looking for a quick return.

His leaving spiked the price for a bit too, as people presumed then that it would increase the chances of a sale. The price fell again because Trippers and his mates seemed to lose energy for selling and just seemed happy growing their operational costs and booking wrestling shows.

The above is no different from what I implied. Vince is back on the board, wants to sell, and the market is ready for him to sell. Regaining that position gives him extra leverage to try and influence the sale towards a buyer agreeable with him retaining a degree of control.

  3. Middle class deli effort, so wasn’t expecting the world. But you know what? Pretty damn decent:

Usually I’d want more on the plate, but considering I had a Christmas food shop to do, it was just the right amount. Will return.

  4. Home Alone 1 and 2 are quintessential Christmas viewing for our family, but I'm still irrationally annoyed by Kevin's dad complaining about the room service bill at the end of 2. You're clearly loaded, have a hotel suite full of free presents and have now lost your son, twice. Pay the damn bill Peter.

So Danielson is a great choice, and to be honest if they are splitting him off from BCC that would be good too.  The BCC actually looks better as a trio controlled by Moxley, and it keeps his schedule light if he's mainly tagging, as he still looks genuinely beat at the moment.

Claudio and Wheeler look like the last people Mox should be hanging with now that Regal isn't there. Get him back together with Eddie and Ortiz, and let Danielson carry the mic work for the other two.

  6. I don't think I've ever had a more jarring viewing experience than Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, having no clue going in about the tone change and expecting more of the same from the original. A complete 'what the fuck?' moment.

RMT have called off 15th and 17th strikes too.  I'd say it's quite savvy given the general level of support the strikes have had up until now.

I get it. Crowds will form as with Diana, and public sentiment could quickly turn against them if people can't get into London. Fight that battle another day.

There's a legitimate debate on the role and need of a monarchy going forward, but tonight I'm choosing to raise a glass to the old girl. You've got to respect the longevity, if nothing else.

We have a five year old and a two year old. They love Bluey but I’ve never paid it too much attention.

Until now. We just watched the, “Sleepytime,” episode. I’m an absolute mess. That’s some of the best TV I’ve ever seen. Incredible.

After the kids getting into Bluey on holiday, I've just watched 'Sleepytime' with our youngest. Holy hell it's fantastic.

If they wanted to have a hot hometown crowd, the week after he got battered fair and square, it was really bad timing for Punk to lean into the Colt Cobana stuff recently. Your hometown hero being the guy holding down the hometown underdog?

Alternatively, if we're meant to be Bret-Hart-in-97 thinking-he's-a-whiny-prick, so the audience turns on him before he turns on them - then they're playing it perfectly. Cooled off his hometown a bit, and acted like he's expected them to be 100% behind him. He's acting like he's no longer grateful for their support - he's acting like he expects it.

Again, he came out two weeks ago and dressed down the three most beloved babyfaces in the company, got his ass kicked, and now gets a rematch over everyone else, and expects to be the hometown hero on top of it all. If this isn't a heel turn, I don't know what it is.

I think you're giving them undeserved credit there. Punk went full tilt into the 'We are Chicago' stuff that was a clear face promo designed to get a massive crowd reaction, they just weren't there with him.

  10. Main event was a good match, and I think they did a decent enough job getting to Hangman subbing in, but that Punk segment? A complete mess. Whiny and fat shaming, apparently with an ankle so fucked that he can't wrestle, to suddenly being raring to go and a really forced interaction with a crowd that wasn't buying it.

Mox better not lose this match on Sunday.
