  1. Found this on Ebay today http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Chris-Benoit-Commemo...1QQcmdZViewItemMay be offensive to some people so don't look if you think you may be offended. Personally I think it's sick and I was quite shocked. Does anyone know ebay's policy on this type of thing?

"eBay may also, in its discretion and out of respect for the families of murder victims, remove listings of items closely associated with individuals notorious for committing murderous acts within the last 100 years, such as personal belongings of such criminals, letters or artwork created by such criminals, or novelty items that bear the name or image of the criminal."Definitely against the rules.
What was the item? It's been removed.
A T-Shirt with a picture of Chris looking at Daniel on the front with the slogan "Happy Families" and something along the lines "I bet he's thinking "You're fucking dead" on the back.Nice that some people find the brutal murder of a child to be so amusing.

  3. Anyway on topic WWE doesn't push guys on size then explain to me Khali, Snitsky,Big show? They all were there because of their size only. The biggest guy in ECW was Sal E. who wasn't pushed at all. And wasn't Raven wanted by WWE as Johhny Polo but he left them just like Douglas left WCW? People could get over but WWE couldn't book them properly. In theory signing Paul Heyman would of been a lot easier.

Ironically, the WWF wanted Raven but only as a manager and producer because they thought he was too small to be a wrestler.
  4. So by your logic Vince should not push well build wrestlers to deter other wrestlers out of doing steroids? What would you suggest? Pushing smaller guys? he did that already. In fact in the last 6 years McMahon has made World heavyweight champions out of 3 guys who within the last 10 years had held cruiserweight titles in other companies.

Right. After they took a massive amount of steroids to get themselves the right "look". Of the three (I'm assuming you mean, Benoit, Mysterio and Guerrero?) two are dead and the other reportedly has serious problems with his heart...I really think you are misunderstanding what people are saying. No one is suggesting that Vince stop pushing well built wrestlers but he certainly needs to stop pushing those who are quite clearly using steroids in order to get that look. Particularly since a LOT of those guys are severly limited in the ring (Chris Masters, Lashley, Batista). There are plenty of guys in WWE who are over despite not having huge, unnatural builds. Why can't they push someone like Matt Hardy as a Main Eventer for a while? It would certainly make more sense than Kane getting a Title shot anyway.
  5. One of my mates just mentioned to me in passing something about Debra. I had never heard it before, so I thought I would chuck it on here and seek confirmation or whatever. They reckon Stone Cold or WWE could sue Debra cause one of the terms in the Austin/Debra divorce was that she would never mention steroids or such in interviews to the press and media. Is that true?

I think she said recently that it was only for a year or so. I'd need to look the transcript I read though.I don't think they would sue her even if they could, to be honest. If her allegations ARE true then WWE will want Debra to fade from the public eye as quickly as possible. The last thing they want is to draw further attention to her story by taking her to court.Basically, I think they'll ignore her and hope she goes away.
  6. This is the list of former WWE regulars who have died in the past 10 years under the age of 50:Chris Benoit (40)Big Bossman (41)Bam Bam Bigelow (45)Brady Boone (40)Chris Candido (33)Miss Elizabeth (42)Terry Gordy (40)Johnny Grunge (40)Eddy Guerrero (38)Owen Hart (34)Hawk (45)Curt Hennig (44)Hercules (47)Crash Holly (32)Junk Yard Dog (45)Sherri Martel (49)Dick Murdoch (49)Brian Pillman (35)Rick Rude (40)Rhonda Singh (40)Davey Boy Smith (39)Louie Spicolli (27)Yokozuna (34)

Don't know their ages but surely Mike Awesome, Earthquake and Rocco Rock belong on that list as well?
  7. You aren't missing much. It looks like an efed's site, really, and if the Internet is going to be a major source of advertising this show then they really should've have invested in a Professional Web Designer. It makes them look amateur.

Oy you, that is totally unfair ... not to APW but to people out there who have designed some rather nice looking e-fed sites (which yours truly has done!) ;)
Oh, I wasn't meaning to slag off eFeds, I just meant that their site doesn't look like the website of a real life promotion who are actually trying to make money. If I hadn't read the story on here about them, I genuinely would've thought the were just an efed.I know some eFed sites are great looking, but that's because the people who run them obviously have some experience in web design, I'd find it hard to believe anybody's ever paid a Professional to do it though, which is what APW obviously should've done.Perhaps I should've said "It looks like a bad eFed site"?

There's no Charles Buchan?Jesus, how can you not even pull the most basic wrestling scam properly?Yes, it's fine to false-advertise wrestlers, lie about the arena, sell tickets for a show that isn't happening, sell sponsorship, make up posters to your forum, send out press releases in a different name from your own, pose as a journalist to cover your own story, and so on - that's all part of the scam.BUT THE MONEY MARK HAS TO BE REAL.

I'm guessing "Charles Buchan" might've just been a way to convince wrestlers that Sprules actually had money and wasn't relying on the gate to pay them this time? Or perhaps just someone to blame for it all falling through?
  8. Thats because the majority of users on there are Sprules. Even "Tom Campbell". Saying he's the voice of APW is like irony or something.

Seriously? You're saying that Sprules did the piss taking commentary of HIS own match and distributed it online? That's really worrying if it's true. Like, men in white coats worrying.Thinking it over though, it's not that far fetched. Why else would "Tom Campbell" agree to work with him?
  9. "Which ECW star do you want in APW?"Has he ever been this bad?Terry Funk is under a WWE contract I think, And he is 60 years old and yet he's going to contact him, And......bah I give up.

Is he? I figured it was just for a few shows leading into One Night Stand and a Legends deal for merchandising and stuff. I'm guessing he could still work Indies? That aside, they really are dreaming if they think that ANY ex-ECW guy whose last name isn't Angle can sell out a 3000 seater arena over here. With all due respect, I don't think any of those guys have enough drawing power to make it worth the cost of bringing them over, especially since they might try and get more than their usual rate out of Sprules. And, if they are serious about booking New Jack then they better make sure they've got enough money to pay him. I don't really see him being the type of guy to go "Oh, well, they're upset and they said that they'd square me up later. I'll just take their word for it". "Calm and Reasonable" aren't the first words I'd associate with him. Also, a thought occurs to me. How many times did the original ECW actually draw 3000 fans to a show? From what I remember in PowerSlam their attendences were always in the 1,000 to 1,500 area? Am I right?
  10. I still cant get on the site

You aren't missing much. It looks like an efed's site, really, and if the Internet is going to be a major source of advertising this show then they really should've have invested in a Professional Web Designer. It makes them look amateur.I was quite amused by the roster page though. It says "All content is copyright of Anarchy Pro Wrestling Ltd. 2007 and this website must not be produced, in full or in part, without the owner's permission. "Anarchy Pro Wrestling" and all logos associated with it are trademarks of Anarchy Pro Wrestling Ltd" right under the "unknown" pictures from the Total Extreme Wrestling series of games.I don't know who actually made that graphic, so it could in fact be Kriss, but it did jump out at me and make me laugh, considering the rep he's managed to get on here.
