I used to rent WCW Nitro from a video rental store down the road from my house when I was a kid. Used to waste hours studying the instruction manual, trying to remember all the wrestlers’ signatures and finishers.

I didn’t really play Thunder that much as I didn’t own and don’t really remember knowing any one who did. But still have a fondness of those games and its engine, and (saddo alert) currently reverse-engineering Thunder in my spare time. I’ve made a good dent in it, identifying routines like where the models and textures for wrestlers and rings are loaded. Currently trying to work out how and where animations are stored, which should open up the door for amending existing animations or adding entirely new ones.

They’ll be sat earning interest off of every one’s “accidentally” incorrect estimates, too.

Freeview channels. So in my programme guide, there’s a handful of programmes but gaps in the numbering where it hasn’t picked a load up.

Competent with computers. Terrible with TVs. My LG TV has lost a load of channels and it’s not finding them when doing a retune/programme search. Any one have any idea as to what I might be missing?

Came off better than me brother. He “degloved” one of his fingers climbing a fence when his ring (not that one) got caught and just pulled the flesh off, leaving the bone sticking out.

He came home and I could hear my mum saying “Where is it?” so I just thought he’d lost his bike or something. Went to the front door just to see my brother holding his finger bone out. Before I’d got chance to process what I was seeing my mum told me to go the park and find his finger 🤢

Same. Enjoyed him heeling it up in TNA a few years ago, but couldn’t take him seriously when he started talking and thinking of himself as a vet with legendary status and spouting his opinions at every opportunity as if he were second to Hulk Hogan in importance or drawing power.

Just flying back from Belgium after an unexpected trip for a conference, and jeez, how is everyone over there not over 30 stone? Everything is either deep-fried or pastry.

Did tuck into some frituur whilst there where they dollop half a tonne of whatever topping you choose (I went with a mix of mayonnaise and curry ketchup). Didn’t get around to sampling a bicky burger though, so one more for the glue factory.
