  1. I mentioned it :p

Angie Tribecca is silly but it's amusing enough most of the time that you just need to go with it. Lots of visual gags and stupid situations like the cop who throws up at every crime scene regardless of it being at all disturbing.

Don't let the number of episodes put you off The Grinder. I'm up to episode 5 and it's not getting tired. Give it a shot.

  2. I'm just watching the Raven's Rrestler (!!) Rescue....it's the 2nd episode with the Big Ben guy and I've just had to pause it to look on here for any comments about how cringey it is. I'm only up to their first meeting and the whole interaction about him not really being a big guy is just awkward. This guy has no spark to him at all so far at least.

  3. Anyone watched Angie Tribeca?

It's a Police Squad style comedy made by Steve Carell, has some very funny / silly moments. Worth watching if you like that kind Airplane/Naked Gun style.

I love It's Always Sunny but agree that the most recent season had some duff episodes (Frank POV and the court case episode which was far too silly). I actually liked the ski lodge episode but the best one was the one where Mac & Denis move to the suburbs....though Dennis kidnapping people in the Paddy Wagon was very funny. With 3 more seasons to come I hope they can dial it back and not take the characters to extremes. Uncle Jack being paranoid about his tiny hands is funny. Uncle Jack wearing fake hands in court isn't. Maureen Ponderosa having a dead tooth is funny....her becoming a cat isn't....

  4. AJ Styles was bad during his promo on Jericho.

Why would he do the "AJ Styles" chant with the same tone as Jericho says it? It sounded like he was mocking himself and the lack of speed and enthusiasm to it just killed any chance of the fans joining in on it.

Pretty poor when you can't get the Philly crowd to chant your name when you're leading the chant and Jericho is doing his best tantrum about it...

Really weird how so many matches at Mania don't have a proper heel/face dynamic.

  5. "Shane is the most formidable opponent Undertaker has ever had at Wrestlemania" - Vince McMahon

    Wow.

I really don't like them calling Undertaker a bitch...especially when he's acting like one by just accepting a match with Shane for no reason at all and then still going ahead with it after everything Vince has said.

  6.

There's a 10 part series starting tonight on BBC2 at 9pm called The People vs. OJ Simpson, detailing the whole case. I always try to watch stuff to do with the OJ case, it still puzzles me how he managed to get away with it

Police fucked up the case. If they didn't, he'd be in jail right now.

He is in jail right now, isn't he? :p

  7. Has anyone watched Making a Murderer?

If you haven't, you need to.

The ten hour long episodes all on Netflix (or elsewhere I'm sure). It's a frightening and compelling documentary filmed over a 10 year period following events of a criminal case in America.

  8. I know wrestling is a weird business, if not the weirdest, and that the WWE is where every wrestler wants to be, but imagine if your bosses where you worked asked you to do something that you not only felt uncomfortable with but publicly and internationally disrespected your dead brother. Would you want to work there? Would you feel comfortable working for a boss that felt that was acceptable? Would you feel like you did a good job there?

It's an awful position to be in and there's a lot at stake, but would a company really fire you for saying no to something so personal to you? And what if they did? I can't see many courts in the US saying it would be fair treatment.

I have no idea what it's like working for the WWE, but if employees (although I understand they're technically contractors) are willing to sell their soul and literally do anything regardless of taste or decency, they need to take their fair share of the responsibility. They must have realised that the script they had was in very bad taste and I can't believe the outcome of this has come as any shock to them.

It's an old one, but if they were asked to jump off a cliff, would they do it?

    Well said.

If Steph, HHH and Michael Hayes "have her back" then surely a team of writers could come up with a different reason for her to finally snap and attack Paige. It's poor that no one called Ric to tell him they planned on insulting his dead son on TV...or to apologise afterwards.

Side note - did it seem like either Charlotte or Paige forgot their lines during that segment? There were some weirdly long pauses where no one was speaking as if they were waiting for the other to say something.

  9. Anyone watch Undateable?

I only started watching it a couple weeks ago but I'm really enjoying it. You sense the actors are all having fun and it has a nice feel to it. Season 3 is all live episodes with some funny moments were they break script and try and make eachother laugh or break the 4th wall.

It's not Always Sunny or 30 Rock but it's easy to watch and fun.

  10. I watched Hand of God's 10 episodes over the course of 2 days - really good story with great acting from Ron Perlman and everyone involved. I'm enjoying the trend for 1 season only shows. Nice to have a story wrapped up and finished without it being dragged on for season after season. Wayward Pines was especially enjoyable for that reason.

IMDB - A morally-corrupt judge suffers a breakdown and believes God is compelling him onto a path of vigilante justice.

  11. Lana is a waste of time now. Her change from American hating Russian to American dating bimbo is a shame.

Sting's promo was badly thought out- "And at Night of Champions, I'm gonna prove that on his best day, Seth Rollins is not half the man that Triple H is"

    Fans: Erm...yay?

Has Sting forgotten that HHH beat him thanks to a sledgehammer and outside interference? How is that less weasley than what Rollins has done?

  12. Undertaker's Tombstone on Brock showed so much light. I know they need to be careful but Brock's head didn't come anywhere near the mat. I don't remember it looking so bad in previous years but maybe that was because most guys had long hair which hid the fact their head was well away from the mat.
