  1. MOC Single Classics are worth a lot less this weather than usual, if you really wanted it, you can pick up the really hard to find commercial ones like UT and HBK series 1 for about 30-40 quid, sometimes even less. Which is good as a collector, crap if youre buying.

    www.classicfigs.com is your friend.

Any double packs and triple packs or Internet exclusives, send me a PM of what youre selling :)

I'm not going to be selling currently. I just wanna see a rough guide of what the figures are worth currently because I MIGHT decide to get rid of some of them. If I do, I'll send you a PM.

  2. Also what comic book is the Jushin Lyger character based on?

    Thanks in advance.

It was from an Anime series called, funnily enough, Jushin Liger. Look, here's the opening sequence! Liger's first ring costume was closer to the anime character.

I could be wholly wrong, but my recollection is that the anime character "evolved" from plain old Jushin Liger (which was Liger's ring name under that original gimmick) to Jushin Thunder Liger in the comics and/or TV show, with the wrestling character following suit and changing his, er, suit.

 . Thanks for the info guys and the video.

There's an episode from later in the series with a new opening showing the Thunder evolution...

Awesome, didn't know the costume change was prompted by the show. Don't think much to the second music though.

EDIT - Yeah, Tiger Mask was a anime about a wrestler that was later used as a template for a real wrestlers gimmick, Black Tiger comes from the same thing. There's been a lot of different "Ranger" characters, in MPro, Hustle and others, and I'm sure groups like DDT will have used the odd anime influenced individual for short periods...Oh, and Kinnikumantaro fought an MMA match on New Year's Eve :)

Thanks. Glad to know I didnt just imagine the Tiger Mask thing. Id forgot about the Ranger characters in Hustle as well. Thanks again

Following on from this are there any other examples of characters in Japanese wrestling coming Anime books/shows? I think I remember reading that Tiger Mask was, but I could be wrong. Thanks

  6. Does anyone know what RVD is doing now or if he plans to return to WWE or go to TNA? The last thing I heard him doing was working for IGF v Necro Butcher and Kendo Ka Shin. Thanks in advance

Should answer everything for ya :)http://www.robvandam.com/

EDIT: well, it would if it wasnt so hideously behind on news, last I saw of him was on Hogans CCW program that just finished. Wiki has his last match as that IGF one. Theres talk of him coming to the UK March/April time. He has signed up to appear for American Ramage across Europe in March/April as well.

Cheers klown. I tried the site before asking and noticed it was hideously behind. I didnt know he was on CCW. Im guessing hes just not that interested in wrestling at the minute, as last I heard he was wife was pretty sick.

  7. bAz is incorrectly linking the currently Michaels/JBL storyline to the film 'The Wrestler' which has just been released, when its actually more to do with the credit crunch that is affecting everyone at the moment. Michaels basically said that he spent all his early ninities money on parties, his late ninities/early two-thousand money on church and charities and lost the little he had saved and invested in the stock market tumble. JBL offered Michaels the job of his lackey, which Michaels has had to accept because he is skint and needs to look after his family. Its an interesting angle, which is unfortunately hampered by the fact that its difficult to really believe that Michaels is broke, but they're actually trying their hardest to make it work, with little segments with Hunter and stuff. Plus giving the staredown between JBL and Michaels on RAW was about the only thing the crowd reacted to on the whole show, it seems to be working a bit.

Wow. That sounds like a really bad idea to me. I watched Smackdown earlier and seen their Raw recap from the week with qualifying matches for the four way and wondered what the hell was going on. I agree they are trying their best to make it work, but I think it was a bad idea to start with now I know the reasons behind it. As you say its hard to believe Michaels is broke and wrestling is supposed to make you believe in anything going on in the show. Oh well I guess the casual fan will get into the storyline more than the IWC.

  8. Let's see...

    4 WWF/E Championships

    1 World Heavyweight Championship

    1 WCW World Championship

    2 TNA World Championships

    That makes 8.

So you could add his World Tag Team Title reigns - one in TNA and one in WWE, and that makes 10.

Then there's his amateur freestyle wrestling title that he won in 1995, bringing it to 11.

I assume the IWGP Third Belt Championship also counts in some way, which makes 12.

    Damn, that's a wooly boast.

Ah right, thanks for that. I knew he wasnt a 12 time world champion in wrestling ie WWE, World, WCW and TNA reigns. Interesting to see how far TNA will go to make their wrestlers sound more impressive

  9. Hannity and Colmes are going to broadcast an interview with Benoit just after WMXX which "we should see".Well Warrior isnt on thank god, but Bill Demott and Debra are, and they're ripping into shreds and Debra is blasting every single negative thing thats happened starting with the number of deaths in the last ten or so years.Breaking : Benoits doctor has been raided YET again.

I seen that tyhing with Demott and Debra and thought that Debra should have let Demott talk at times. She actually said to Demott "Do you know what it is like to have a FIVE HUNDRED pound man beat on your back?" 1. Demott is/was a wrestler so yes I think he would know what that felt like. 2. Since when has Steve Austin been 500 pounds?
  10. The Ultimate Warrior will be on Hannity and Colmes tonight at 2am GMT.:(

What channel will that be on in America? I'm in Orlando at the minute. Or is this a UK only thing?
If you got Fox News Channel over there than it'll be on there at 9pm ET.If not get yourself a TVU Player.
Balls. Will they repeat it later do you think? Im still at work at 9.
