  1. Still scratching my head on the Cena/Steph segment. They may as well pull the pin and go full turn if they've gone down this road. The lowest point in character for Cena in my view. I sat watching in a perplexed way where I was dumbfounded where this was going.

I want to see an all in Cena turn if that day ever arrives, otherwise a watered down tweener move would not be worth the tv times. But what the fuck are we meant to be thinking here? Very odd direction!

  2. Just curious to hear people's thoughts on Wai Ting on the Review of Raw podcast? I like listening to Pollock on most things he does, but Ting, I find myself irritated at his contribution that leaves me wondering why he bothers most weeks to put a headset on.

  3. So much to digest in short time, but Ian's right. For Lesner, he has to test the market out there. He'll look at all the options out there which will be UFC and Belletor to begin with. With Frank Mir winning at the weekend, there's the potential match up straight off the bat. Would it be a one fight deal or more? Has to be more!

His training time, lack of downtime which he's had for the past two years at least would be reduced, whereas his life is pretty cruisy at the moment during his time off. His schedule would be easy on his body if he stays, but it's hard to really gauge what Brock is thinking.

His money at WWE would increase quite significantly in this current situation if he re-signs. Brock had been reported to appear on Raw Monday Night, but that didn't happen due to certain issues. I would have natually assumed he'd have featured post FastLane, but Heyman did his bit.

My thoughts are swaying slightly towards Heyman turning on Lesner for Reigns to defeat. My take on their promo was the only one who knows how to to beat him is Heyman storyline, thus backing reigns come 30 odd days time. But then that could happen if the company already knows he's not signing back on. Somehow it seems right to turn, but wrong for any future programmes with Brock and Heyman, it just won't be the same again for them.

It really does make a complete mockery within the system from Vince all the way down to creative and the one million writers alleged to be working for the company. It's very funny watching this bloody mess keep screwing up, and I'm in total agreement with Disco Inferno of all people, where the company needs to stop the bleeding, swallow their prides, and move this product in the right direction the way wrestling should be in 2015. They are completely ruining the modern era of Pro Wrestling within WWE not this preppy bullshit sports entertainment....MWAH

Enjoy the Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan re visit. Why don't they go whole hog and put that match on first at WM and go 17 seconds with Bryan winning!!

The "cancer" of the Divas division, not my words, being all that are the Bella's. Jesus Christ Vince is a bastard for not doing the NXT style on his main programming and producing that rubbish finish involving Paige. God I can see her family cringing at the way her daughters scripting is being portrayed, but no, feed us God awful storylines and no in ring performing which means absolutely nothing!

    RIP 154

  4. Would be a pretty big deal if he turned up at NXT tonight.  Doubt it would happen ever, but I think it'd be a good idea to sign him, even if they know he'll only ever be in NXT.  Once Neville, Balor, Zayn, Itami and Owens get called up they're going to need more guys like that on the shows.  Triple H did say he wants NXT to get to the point where established names will join NXT to be in NXT, not to be in WWE.  This would be a good start.

I asked this on the NXT thread just now. He's based in central Florida so it's worth a look by the WWE for sure. I can see him showing up in Ring of Honour for some dates which I would love to see.
  5. I love how everyone has had a bigger share of the spotlight recently but when there's a PPV to sell, Cena's out first and he's in sell mode. really looking forward to the match.Have to say the Bryan stuff has worked out well too. I wasn't keen on it and god forbid we end up with a three way but it's certainly lifted a mediocre looking PPV and both guys have been on top form. It's helped that we've had crowds who like both guys. I'm really not sure what to expect from the PPV crowd. In a good old City like Memphis, I'm hoping we get a genuine split which will create a great atmosphere.

But they've made them Tweeners which has left people confused. The whole build up is confusing. Bryan came across as a complete dick to his usual persona on commentary. He still captures the fans, but his status is way off the mark compared to this time last year right?
  6. The Triple H/Ric Flair segment was done very well I thought. I bought into Hunter big time, and Flair was surprisingly very good throughout.

I was amused with Ambrose zip tying Barrett signing the IC contract and making the fucking best out of a bad run thrown at him currently.

Enjoying the Bray taped promos, Miz and Sandow slow burning their programme smoothly, Ziggler and Rollins was what it was for five minutes and and a pretty good finish to stall further conclusions.

Not convinced the company are going to protect Rusev the proper way building through 2015 and next year. They need to prove that to their audience each week and they are currently not. It's too bizarre to comprehend what they are doing. They are too inconsistent in elevating talent the way the audience wants to watch. The term "watered down" quite clearly is being displayed from Reigns and Bryan. It just sucks, the whole thing!

  7. The best part of Raw this week was Triple H saying 'Step into this ring-sting.' Hopefully there'll be lots more of that between now and Mania.

I would like to see some Triple H foolery in Sting mocking him, as long as it doesn't boil down to any "The Police" bloody reference!
  8. So Reigns beats Bryan at fast lane... This pisses everyone off even more no?

I still think perhaps Bryan and Reigns will be squeezed into the main event to face Brock at Mania. They know a certain portion of fans are gonna scream at the company for their little darling Daniel if he doesn't go over, and to be honest I'm pretty sick of him because of the way they've treated him, but that's life.

Ziggler as a heel vs Bryan at WM I couldn't give a stuff about really. I just want to see Reigns win the title at Mania then Rollins cash in there and then, screw doing it the night after!

  9. I have to say I really don't agree with some of you on here, Stephanie McMahon is such an utterly terrible heel. She just neuters everyone and makes all the babyfaces look like shit and never shows any weakness. And because she's a woman the babyfaces can't even hit her. She kills every segment she's in dead.

Lana has never been the same since the backstage segment involving Steph has she?
  10. No one gives a toss about Fast Lane though

I can see the main event being the Sting/Triple H confrontation the way things are going.

With Hunter training twice a day and not giving too much away right now, it's bloody obvious when asked by Austin will he be back anytime soon and he said its coming.
  11. That people had paid for it the day before and to save pissing them off and demand their money back, we'll avoid that situation arising. SKY should have just stuck a repeat of The Premirrship Years or that Insanity infomercial

FOX8 is our channel for Raw live, so after showing staggered segments of the title match, I didn't even see the ending of the Lesner sit down when it cut to The Simpsons. Don't know any feedback from any Main Event PPV customers asking for a refund.
  12. Apparently the cable channel that airs Raw in Australia (which also does the PPV like with Sky) just pulled it off-air in the middle of the broadcast and stuck on some Simpsons repeats because they figured it was going to destroy their PPV replay business and prompt refund demands.

Utter cunts for doing that! What was their fucking explanation?
  13. Brock selling it like a boss in that end segment.

I actually wanted to see Brock stand back up and no sell for Seth prior to the Curb Stomp, and watch Rollins roll out and retreat staring down Lesner as he walks back up the ramp.

At least that way you can actually work Rollins into doing a number on Brock on the go home show to build up heat into the Rumble. They've even fucking screwed up further suspense in this match a week too soon, as I'm not even interested in this weeks show

  14. To me this BS ending which we've become a custom to rears its head on the Authority return. A ratings killer I'd like to think with having Steph and Hunter yawning the crowd to submission of nothing.

This is the same Hunter that people are raving about with the NXT product. Granted he's being scripted by 64 writers with no direction of hardly anything we want to watch and be drawn upon. Surely to goodness he must know what they are giving is total shite. A three way at the Rumble threw me to be honest.

  15.

Have any of you guys used this site to buy NJPW merch before?

    http://www.njpweurope.com

£18 inc shipping for a Bullet Club t-shirt is something I'd happily pay if the site is reliable!

    Cheers.

Yeah, hit & miss to some extent. The quality isn't as good as the authentic Japanese product, but less expensive, particularly in view of the import duty you're likely to pay on goods from outside of the EU. Some of the shirts are little more than cheap-ass Fruit Of The Loom affairs with the NJPW logo on the front & although I haven't made a study of it, the detail on the reverse, or lack of it in some instances doesn't always seem to match the Japanese product. Others are a bit more substantial. The service though was fine for me + NJPW shop isn't particularly geared to sales outside of Japan at present...time they sorted that out.

This reminded me of that cunt called Sam Bramley who's address is in Guernsey, and couldn't be arsed to do the right thing on a Bullet Club shirt purchase he screwed up on. He's on ebay and probably still claiming his merch comes direct from NJPW which is absolute fantasy in his tiny brain. The label on his picture wasn't the same when it arrived here, and he conveniently scribbled out the sizes to disguise. The thing looked like a flaming windsock!!!

  16. Current NXT roster with recent conflict with Hunter and Vince moving forward?

The Shield and Wyatts were moved over a year ago and by the sounds of it relations between the two were not strained to the point they are alleged to be right now.

Yeh, The Wyatts and The Shield haven't got shit thanks to Vince.

the booking of Charlotte on Raw two weeks ago? What the fuck was that?
  17. I'm almost glad Vince isn't a fan of the NXT guys. My biggest concern would be Vince having a hard on for them, panicking about how deprived they are of talent on the main roster and rushing them onto Raw and Smackdown for them all to flop.

This intrigues me somewhat to not overlook. If Vince isn't on the same page as Hunter in vision, then Hunter looks the cunt, not Vince, although I think it's the opposite.

All this talk of Wall Street not having confidence in Hunter for the future is nonsense in my view, considering all these dick ideas and running with them that Vince wants. His decisions not H's. Vince fucked himself right from the start with the network, and Bryan Alverez summed it up the best in simplistic form talking to Cornette this week.

If NXT talent gets called up, only Devitt I can see being treated carefully. The others have no chance to succeed when Vince goes on his "fuck Hunter's project, they ain't getting shit on the main roster" mentality

  18. I hope they book the Ascension properly and have them hold onto the belts for a while in order to give the titles some credibility again.

I'll disperse any chances whatsoever these two get over on the main roster. Konnor is fucking awful. Viktor has the better chance out the two. But he'll be another Zac Ryder in 6 months time.
