  1. What didn't I fast forward through ala Peter Kay X30! They needed a further hook so had Shane drop an elbow through the announce table. There was Stephanie burying a locker room once again. Just another Divas title match upcoming. Eva Marie set up to fail with no concern given in Brooklyn.

Owens looking bored across at his mate who's got a gig with a guy Owens would love to get his hands on Friday night. Hunter giving his absolute best to promote his match with a guy who was fucked a very long time ago, and who the BK audience chanted you still suck to Reigns in closing

Lesner just wasted standing in his usual spot getting paid for not doing a great deal on the supposed show before a Mania. Where's the aggression, any, so we just watch Brock shrug his shoulders like duh? It's lazy in all aspects on Raw and I still think it won't change, they've proven otherwise so far.

It's clearly apparent that Vince gives no fucks and we've took the bait by watching no matter how awful this card looks for Sunday. This format surely has to change in a significant way next Monday or this drop is getting a lot worse I would think.

  2. He needs to be beaten up at the next raw so there's a surprise entrant... Shinsuke Nakamura! Bad fantasy booking I know but fuck it.

Funny you should mention SN as I still have a feeling that he'll feature in the ladder match the night after facing Zayn. Surely Nakamura is being used at Mania, why wouldn't you use him
  3. Strange how Owens who had about five segments during the night still felt fresh right till his last stint of the night backstage. Makes you wonder how monotonous they handled Rollins taking up most of the show each week during his reign.

New Day I'm done with. Entertaining at first when they first formed, but quickly diminished into a tiresome act. Said this from the beginning that they'll screw up with too much overkill so I'm not surprised one bit to be honest. Beggers belief what they've done with Del Rio. A shadow of his former self in AAA and LU. Not sure how long his current deal runs for, but fucking hell he's either laughing at the cash he's earning or he's more pissed off that he's stuck right where they want him, makes no sense and a waste.

Says absolutely everything on the shambolic singles match given to Strowman. The disbelief they would book that, again shows the company really doesn't give any fucks whatsoever. Same goes for Sin Cara, Stardust and Ryder being added to a marquee match, just laughable!

  4. I honestly did half expect them to have Reigns arrive in a vehicle of some sort and march through the backstage area with various talent being passed on his way to the ring. He could have ripped the face mask to highlight his absence before coming out, absolutely. Why go to the trouble of reporting he busted his nose and had surgery done if you're just going to pass it off as completely irrelevant. Small detail I know but that's just another example of how incredibly lazy they are.

They're in an even worse position quite possibly without outlining the basics in storytelling. The subtleties that can be picked up on at the drop of a hat, I just still think it's important to recognise it's done properly. They never enhanced Reigns really. So breaking a TV over Hunter doesn't cut it for me personally. The whole thing is a fucking mess. I'm amazed that Vince has done all of this. Just goes to show with every single resource Vince has in his company he still can't find a better formula than the current one without screwing it all up consistently.

  5. Yoshi And Naito followed by Evil and Ishii were stand out matches on night one of the New Japan Cup. Jesus the G1 is going to be solid this year on this effort. Night two on Friday should be great to watch.

  6. Everything involving Shane reminded me of that Jericho match against the legends at Wrestlemania 25. It reeked of being a panicked Plan C or D because everything else had fallen through. You have to wonder how many people said, "no," to Vince before he picked up the phone to Shane.

Are all the Mean Street Posse guys still alive? This weird Attitude Era kick they've been on since December won't be truly complete until they rock up.

Meltzer said that Batista turned down a guest referee spot at Mania

Would love to see The Mean Street Posse why not.

  7. Went into this show completely blind and was totally marking when Shane's music hit. At first I was hesitant if it was him. It could easily have been a stooge ripping him off during the excellence award segment in some way. Then wow, what a moment. The crowd made that extra special naturally. Was just so pleased to see him cut his piece. A beautiful moment absolutely.

The match against Taker in a HIAC makes me now question if this is just a short term programme for Mania or thereafter. The actual thought for a Shane win and therefore creating a new show format run on Raw the following night. The eventual outcome is intriguing, but why do I find myself thinking he straight up loses, and everything still stays the same. Mixed views on social media. It's seems a lot of people love the idea of this. Seems that family are the bigger draw in matches, not the ordinary talent.

Intersting whilst listening to Review a Raw. John Pollock said that the talent backstage did not know Shane was there. That he was hidden and talent went nuts he was chosen to go against Taker. Speechless were Pollock's words. He compares the Sheamus instance last year.

  8. A few points, with Corbin, I find he's been the constant same for his tenure in NXT. His basic one dimensional stare will only take him so far. They need to turn him up some more but finding the right way to get him there and what tweaks need making.

Cameron. Granted she fucked up the clothesline to Bliss, just sloppy, still! Been there since 2011 and so it seems she's still finding her way on her rebuild. She doesn't look ring savvy for the Development she's received. Has Eva Marie improved since the beginning of her push several weeks ago, I'm still undecided. She sells terribly and I dont buy it. Plenty of women with a greater skill set already to go but they put out these two ffs.

  9. Miz by the grand scheme of things handles himself well alongside AJ and Jericho. His mic work is pretty sound for what's going on. Jericho slightly better this week on promo, and AJ no speak!

Same for Bubba. He flows through promos at ease. Do you know who we are resonates with similarities to an aggressive character I want to see from Ray. A turn for Mania in any capacity either tag or singles for Bubba featured in a "Get your Shit In" match will go down well for what it might be.

Kevin Owens. What in the hell has happened here. Cooling him down? noooo. Baffles the brain to figure this one out in recent book for him. Who's he pissed off springs to mind, but I thought he comes across as someone in good control of himself backstage and on the road. Either that or no idea why. I was convinced after the Rumble he would somehow get paired up with AJ and Zain post Fast Lane with some subtle plot in getting there. Momentum has halted at a great rate for him with respect to Ziggler. They're just throwaway matches that could be designed to not have Owens overshadow certain stories running with more priority given (in WWE minds), any things possible from this lot.

Post Bryan farewell, what was up with Vince McMahon allegedly being grabbed on stage which was caught on film

  10. What I thought made Reigns look a right prick this week and I don't know if it's me being picky but Ambrose is squaring up to Lesnar saying he's going to win and go to WrestleMania while Reigns is backstage saying "one of them" are going to win rather than having confidence in himself.

The same reason Reigns wasn't out with a mic last Monday standing alone in the ring after the Rumble giving his thoughts on losing the title, because Vince must have known he'd get yet another round of boos. They need to simmer him down and make him go away, but they won't.
  11. Can't stand Kalisto's music and that "Lucha, Lucha, Lucha" arm thing. It never seems to be in sequence with the music or the fans chanting it. I can see what they are trying to do, but it needs a bit of a change to catch on fully.

Still great to see a bit of a change though.

    Gutted you said that now.......
  12. You know the funny thing about this entire mess was summed up by a brain fade of the highest order, and that was when Vince didn't count the Sheamus pin. I don't know what the hell happened there. Either Armstrong missed his cue or Vince lost his train of thought on his positioning for the pin. Too late or too soon? Just messy and horrible the whole thing. If that's the best that Vince can give us out there, deary me it's comical for the wrong reasons!

Once again, how on earth does a company still not know to this day in stone what card Wrestlemania will be in front of an inflated crowd in numbers again. A thin roster maybe, but why have they not already created genuine stars from the mid card and hung them all out to dry. It didn't have to be this way so why do they mess things up so bloody much. Jesus

  13. My expectations for the Brooklyn show were set high. A popular market in New York and an anticipating prospect of them doing some really good work turned sour by the 15 minute mark in summary. The one main issue I had with Vince McMahon was how was Reigns going to look once the opening segment ended? Reigns just crept out of the ring and quietly walked out of sight from the camera leaving those folks at home in the know thinking what the fuck is going on here!

Does anyone actually really think it's a good idea to have Vince feature on tv presenting Roman Reigns in a force feeding role, and turning the attention away back to himself. He just looked terrible out there unfortunately. Nonetheless it's the show they gave everyone and was certainly not one the fans had wanted, expected or what could have been.

The Rock announcement via Instagram was an insane decision to make I thought. First place to tell the world would be an exclusive on Raw you'd imagine, followed by the Network and various announcements on social media thereafter.

Hardly a dynamic announcement overall. I'm sure the new advertisement of Smackdown moving to USA was shown only once on Raw as that's what I picked up on FOX8 here on the broadcast. Next Monday will likely have more promos put out, an ending to Raw leading into the new Smackdown perhaps, or maybe even a sighting or segment with Mauro featured.

Kevin Owens, once he goes through Ambrose, I can see being the stand out guy to face Lesner at Mania. Owens and Heyman going back and forth on the mic, plots set and executed, piss the beast off to build this great prospect. Owens is the best heel talker by a country mile. Best in the company I think. Next year should be a good year for KO. Let's hope they let him.

The Cena/Del Rio match looked as false on Cena's part throughout. When the girlfriend's telling you whilst watching that Cena looks so obvious in his moves and setting up a sequence of moves looking like kiddy stuff, then you know she's on the money as a non fan of this product! She'd rather watch Lucha Underground for realness overall (her words not mine!)

  14.

So basically Alice leaves, Cornette explains the departure on his show this week, MSL takes over as producer with him, Cornette cuts a damming promo on Alex Greenfield(who also does shows on MLW) and the cunt continues to build an enemy army just like he's always done over the years.

Would laugh my tits off if ISIS reps in the US bomb that racist bigot up

That's ridiculous. You want ISIS to bomb Cornette?

I have no idea who Alex Greenfield is.

Of course not, save that for Bolin instead
  15.

Oh great, those "hey! we want some Bayley!" cretins are back this week.

it's a New Day inspired chant, inspired off a 2 Live Crew track. I'll take it, it sure beats 'tater tots' or 'Justin Bieber'
I understand what it's derived from, but they're chanting "we want some Bayley" and yet she's directly in front of them trying to work a match. It's another example of "chant for the sake of chant". It's probably me making a mountain out of a molehill as much as anything, but sometimes you do wish that they would just shut the fuck up. I'm sure we've all been to shows, gigs or whatever where we've ended up next to someone or a group who are acting a right bunch of twats

And I'm still none the wiser as to what tater- tots are

Darts springs to mind straight away for chants at PDC events. It's gone stale now as no new ones have been created during actual play. It's always the Yaya and stand up if you love the darts bore! One song I can't make out. It sounds like the crowd are saying "boring boring Neville" If so, that sums Gary to a tee!

I'm thankful that the London crowd at NXT sung at least a different one to the usual Full Sail crowd chants for Bayley. The same song that Tony O Shea used at the Grand Slam of Darts for several years. Can't wait to see the brand grow in the UK for years to come. The new Monday Night Raw

  16. Neville wins a Slammy for Breakout whatever...... gets booked to lose to a heel cleanly later in the show.

Is it just me that thinks that's dumb as fuck?

Add that to the long bloody list. Stupid absolutely that's it laughable what this company is actually thinking. Seriously, what is the point of everything WWE do bar NXT. That old chestnut which is a million miles apart to the pathetic booking, we all go round and round in circles over this one thing.
