It will be interesting to see who they bring in for colour. I'd love it to be Don West, obviously.
I'm not sure Don could last one of the multiple taping weeks they have. Obviously he can redo commentary in Nashville, but it's never the same. The taping schedule for next year would be a positive move for them.

I'm excited about Cornette being back. I know he's not universally liked, but bloody hell I love the idea of him being on weekly tv once again.
If nothing else, it also signals that Jarrett has no intention of bringing back Vic Venom to the mix.
With the Pope being gone (he wasn't on the show) I'm surprised they've not put him on commentary.
Word is they've signed some more women for the roster too. Hopefully the likes of Madison, ODB and Angelina Love aren't used in the coming years.

What names are they going with, specifically for the top title? Hoping they've reverted to "Global Heavyweight Champion" but seeing different things being used in different places.
Speaking of names - Johnny Impact. Ugh.
Yeah in a few tweets they sent out, one refers to Global Championship whilst the other World Championship. Needs clearing up for sure.
World/Global title hasn't changed, just the rest being re-done to fit the new company branding.

Closer look at the new titles.
Defenatly a show working checking out tonight.

Thank god. Del Rio and Pope in the same week, cracking news.
Cornette on commentary?

Titles have been revealed.
Green ropes to be introduced tonight.
Also looks like the Pope is done with the company.

Did Alberto actually miss any dates through his "suspension"? Or do GFW not tape that much in one go anymore? and they don't run house shows, so if a show isn't running anything, what exactly has he been suspended from
Two house shows from last week in NY.

El Patron has been stripped of the World Title.

From the inside the ropes Matt Hardy tour last year he said he was paying his own money into TNA to keep them afloat. That's why he was given so much free reign with his character and ideas.
He only has himself to blame for getting screwed by the previous owner with the money he invested.

Knowing the state of TNA at the time, I don't doubt for a second that the Hardys paid, out of their own pocket, for at least elements of the show. Truthfully, its fucking scandalous that any of the talent should be paying production or set costs for a show that's televised at all, let alone internationally.
But that's a separate issue altogether to who owns the IP. I'd be supporting them all the way if they were trying to reclaim their out of pocket expenses or what have you.
I couldn't agree more, it's a absolute disgrace on how she ran that company to the ground. I'm not shocked either, just disappointed in these so call journalists who haven't questioned her role in all this mess. She must be under some agreement with Anthem to shut up.
Seriously though, what we're they thinking? (The Hardys) I know it's been mentioned that they cared about the angle/promotion etc but seriously?

That's what annoyed me about it tbh. I don't get why, when you've actually left the company, you would want to start firing shots anyway. You're with the world's biggest company now, partially thanks to the exposure you got there
and your hot wife that overshadows you, why be petulant?Absolutely, at some point the constant bashing of the company because of something that happened years ago (or in this case previous ownership) has to stop. I could understand if the company had commented on him but yet again nothing has been said. No doubt when he's booted from the WWE he'll want back in and only moan about outside noises holding them back. Rinse and repeat...
As for the Hardys, they're the internet darlings, Jeff always has been hence why Dixie didn't have the guts to let him go when he was disgracing the company but Matt and his Wife talk alot and have yet to back anything up. I felt sorry for Matt because of the situation during the final days of Dixie but not anymore.

Reby Sky's been ranting and raving again o Twitter. In my book, its all got beyond tiresome by now.
I see she was on Pro Wrestling Sheet last night, not sure how personally she got though.
Mike Bennett rambling on about late pay issues last night (which whilst correct isn't to do with current owners, shame some sites aren't reporting that). Who pops up and it's Matt Hardy, the same Hardy who was posting his pay slips online and complementing the company for the fantastic relationship 18 months ago.
What next? He'll probably be telling us he owns IP and how he put on the show all by himself... Oh.
-
Meltzer was on WO before discussing the whole Broken saga, seen a summary of what he said and basically GFW hold all the cards to this and really not looking to back down anytime soon.
Reby has been waffling on for sometime now.
Lets say it goes to court and because they paid Dixie's bills for the shows Hardys win. Will Anthem go after Carter for what she sold them (with potential false documents)?

Ed Nordholm interview with SInow. It's all about the Hardy situation, worth a read.

Tuned out of that after about 20 seconds with the line of:
"This isn't scripted! Nobody is telling us what to say!"
That's an instant turn off for me. Whenever you hear that line, or anything similar, you know it's going to be bollocks.
Wasn't/not a fan of it myself.

Fair play to him.
They've released the first 5 minutes of the opening Amped episode. Graphics are impressive.

What the fuck is Jarrett's obsession with midgets?
Watching last weeks episode OnDemand.
The match was another way of them trying to build up iMPACT being different and must see because anything/anyone can show up.
I was more concerned about the two jacked guys just randomly having a angle with Adonis and Drake. Network request?

Borash announced during todays conference call (which by all accounts was bizarre) that Drago, Taya and John Hennigan (John Morrison) will be working the August live events, Hennigan coming to TV soon?
-
Jarrett admitted on Twitter that he's in FL today to meet Lashley and American Top Team.
Brings back memories of this.

Who'd have thought this would be how they'd finally see the light of day? It's strange for something that originally was planned as a 16 part series and they'd even had TV deals for them.
The shows were just pilots weren't they? Don't think they recorded 16 weeks worth.

Apparently, on David Penzer's latest podcast, Jarrett confirmed they'll be taping some One Night Only shows in Vegas.
Just listed to the show (recorded last week), he just talked about the Amped shows (which were held in Vegas) and mentioned they are how they want to present the shows. Penzer seems a cool guy.

Moose. I've never seen him and not thought he's fucking rubbish. That guy who had his first/only match at Slammiversary was better than him already.
Yeah not a fan of Moose myself.
Sure I read somewhere that those new backstage aren't fully convinced by him too.
AAA set to be involved in the house shows they're doing over the summer too.

Interested to see what stance (if any) Global Force/Impact take on this. Not in a "his push needs to be stopped" sort of way, more a case of they're going a transition and trying rebrand/re-establish themselves and he is being positioned as one of their top guys. As much of a bunch of shady fucks that TMZ are, they are a piece of mainstream media, and end of the day he is a representative of the company and if Global arn't seen to be doing something about their talent's behaviour, it's going to portray them really badly. I'm sure if Dixie was still about she'd just stick her head in the sand and hope it eventually goes away, but I'd hope that under Jarrett et al that they will be a bit more willing to put their foot down in response.
I do hope that Paige does get any help she may need, it would a huge shame for her career to be over on a worldwide scale. I'm sure she could do well on the indies, but lose her chance at the big time due to silly nievety would be a shame
Interesting comment this, and for the company it's vital they get this sorted VERY quickly. The fact that he's been suspended they know something is clearly wrong and they've done it without fucking around (unlike some) is it enough though? For a company trying to rebrand itself it's vital they get this correct and having read a little on it all (which is a fucking terrible situation) it's clear they can't work with him moving forward. They should admit that TV can't be edited moving forward, but put out a message that at the next set of tapings he won't be used, and the company will move on.
Both need help badly, but GFW can't afford a Benoit type situation.

Yeah I listened to that yesterday, certainly seems that way but if that wasn't the plan then Cornette made sure of it. Which like you said is a shame because he was decent on TV. It's a shame they've had to hit the reset again.
Having looked at the TV tapings (which are still ongoing!) results, he's missed.
