I'm just pleased its not in the Impact Zone tbh. I doubt I'll be able to make it unless its in the afternoon though.
I'm struggling too! Will try and change the plans around though.
The previous artwork they had included the GFW logo but the one they've posted has the iMPACT on instead. Be interesting to know the reasoning for the change.

Looks like Bound for Glory will be in the UK.

The global wrestling network has launched interested to see a review off it and to see what people think and no mention of ps4 app but says its coming soon to a Xbox one.
Nothing official yet, it was up for a short time but there wasn't much on there (well what I could see on mobile).
The app link on the website linked to the UK one.
As for what it'll launch on, iOS, Android and web. The rest is coming later. (or will be pushed to the back when the original stuff gets launched and people comment on how far it's behind other services)
From what I saw on the mobile version, it was a disappointment. We'll see..

Could just be a face saving exercise, but Karen Jarrett said:
"So many continue to reach put (sic) to Jeff and myself. Thank You for all the love! Thank You to Ed Nordholm and Anthem for giving Jeff the time he needs! And to all the fans this is 110% a positive for Jeff and GFW IMPACT."
Backs up what Ed said during the WO interview.

They should do shoot interviews and documentary type things like Highspots do. WWE Network has shown that old wrestling shows was way less appeal than we all thought they do. People want new shit in this day and age. Those who really want to SummerSlam 89 have already owned that on VHS or DVD for about 2 decades.
They have the perfect guy to do that too.
Perhaps could be something Fight can do, (they've been doing interviews with talent recently)
If anyone wants to listen to Eds interview, it's been added on YouTube. https://youtu.be/W2UH0ryTX7w

So it's the same price a Netflix over there? They're having a laugh, aren't they? For fucking TNA!
Price seems solid to me.
Be interesting to see if the paid service has iMPACTS on quicker.
-
So we have news on the network.
Launching next week, North America only mentioned though.
Both a free and paid service. Free will have access to iMPACT 10 days after it airs on Pop. Paid service will be at $7.99 and access to everything.
Talk of other promotions NOAH, AAA too.

The big project and what will determine the future of the company is the Global Wrestling Network they have in mind. Especially with Anthem's background.

It's an OTT deal rather than TV isn't it?
Looks like it.
UFC are on the same platform too by the looks of things.
I guess it's an improvement over what they had (nothing)

In todays news, they've announced (Rather than Satin saing they were in talks yesterday) iMPACT is heading back on TV in Germany.
Account details are setup using "GFW" and not iMPACT.

Okay, this is all confusing for me. Anthem aren't happy that the guy in charge of a wrestling company has "erratic behaviour?" While I wouldn't consider Jarrett a creative genius, isn't it a given that most bookers in wrestling are a bit mental in their own little way?
They also seem shocked that Jeff is trying to prevent them from getting involved with the wrestling side of things... After Dixie I wouldn't expect anything else. Like most businesses, the money people just need to find someone who knows what they are doing and stay out of it. I wouldn't open a restaurant and tell the head chef what to do, because I do stuff like putting last nights pizza in the toaster to heat it back up.
With the information available at the moment I'm totally behind Jeff on this one
His behavior is down to personal reasons, not wherever they believe he's making the right business choices? PWInsider reported the day he was told to go home that it was not because of the job he was doing.
Whilst I can understand he was frustrated Ed spoilt the El Patron debut, as he hasn't done this since nor has this "issue" been any problem all those months since it happened surely it's nothing to be worried about?
The John Gaburick stuff is a major worry though. It really should've been Borash heading things until Jarrett was sorted.

GFW are bringing out their own Network
That's been the case for sometime now.
I don't think it'll be just GFW shows too.

They must have that saved as a stock email at this point, surely?
It's being marked as spam in talents inbox now.

Ha! Because TNA...no wait, Because Impa...no, I lose track.
Does seem a weird one that. Perhaps still ongoing?
As for the rest, PWInsider are saying money shouldn't be a shock and talent contacted yesterday to say everything is fine moving forward.
-
So the SI guy.
Yesterday: Jarrett on leave.
Today: he's been dismissed.

that article suggests that Jarrett being out of the picture opens the door to WWE buying. Surely JJ being there wouldn't have stopped them buying as Vince could have publicly fired him for a 2nd time.
If Anthem want him out the picture, they could've fired him rather than just send him home (even though they've no shows until November).
Who expected them to be making money at this stage? No one.

Will this company ever not be close to death?
True.
Considering who wrote the article it's clear where this came from too.

...and less than 24 hours later. SI reporting losing money, Anthem want out and ready to sell.

Maybe Jim Cornette will run the day to day stuff now.
Doubt it.
Having read the PWInsider report last night, you have to wonder if the trust between Anthem/Jarrett might be broken long term. He's clearly got some issues to deal with, a sad story. Once again the company looks to be returning to normal and something pops up.
GFW already have the guy to replace him working at the company in my opinion.

Just read that about Jarrett on PWI. Seems very strange. I was under the impression it was his company?
Anthem own it. He's basically running the day to day stuff.
Yet again, things starting to steady and something pops up.

Jarrett taking a leave of absence from GFW.

Is Jeff Wrestling any good, these days?
I only just noticed Cornette is back on the telly and they've punted Del Rio.
Del Rio will be back at Bound for Glory in November.

According to PWinsider. Low Ki has walked.
-
Tapings have FINALLY finished and done all the way up to Bound for Glory (which is in November! What a stupid schedule but you can blame the mess of the previous regime for that)
Going by the results, it looks like the El Patron decision was made last minute as it looks a complete mix bag and a very disappointing card for the biggest show of the year.
Grand Title is still around too.
Lashley & King Mo vs Moose & Stephan Bonnar at Bound for Glory, seriously what is that all about?

It has to be in London. You can't put vidoes and graphics out with the branding and then not have it there.
PWInsider also reported the Network was live the other day when it clearly wasn't, and then a day later blamed it on "reports". They've been making up a lot of stories recently, so probably ignore them for a while.
