  1. I still love that, whoever it is that comes over at the end, actually asks what's wrong...Two morons are laying on the ground screaming, and there's broken table on the lawn.My guess is it's the parent... which would give a reason to how they turned out so stupid in the first place :D.

  2. Dear GOD that's expensive! I think I'll give it a miss, lol.And yup, of the first 3 Spyro games, the 3rd was the worst, but isn't it (usually) the same with games, the initial one is amazing, but from then on, they simply spew out rehashes with "new" features, which are really stuff which makes no sense, or actually hinders gameplay. That or they release it with a different bunch of locations to explore, and yet keep the same dull gameplay exactly the ruddy same (i.e. Tomb frickin' Raider... can you tell I hate that piss-poor excuse for a game? lol).

  3. Oh my god guys!....Ive just found..........................Command and conquer. And some other quality ps1 games like Ressie Evil, original spyro, Ape escape, Kula -kula- world, Medievil and loads more. And my sun tan was going soooo well :(

We shall see you in about a year when you've finished 'em ;).Spyro wise... only play the original 3 on the PSX, ignore any of the ones after those three, because they switched developers and they're full of glitches, bugs, and god-awful storylines and such. The first three massively rock, and while they're easily completed (completely) within about a week for each, they're just great fun to do so :) (and now I wanna buy the ruddy things again, damn yous!)As for Kula Kula world... where the hell did you find a copy of that?! I couldn't find a copy when it was MEANT to be released, let alone now!Medievil is great fun, as was Ape Escape (tho' I dun think much of the newer ones).
  4. Am i the only one who wants to see Joe slap Jimmy Carr after that video?
Hopefully. Seeing as it was done as a bit of comedy, and it's more than likely that Carr and Joe were talking both before AND after the filming about what was gonna be said, and what was said.
What pleasure do you get from being a smart-mark about everything?
Yes, because me pointing out, in a SINGLE thread that it was a gameshow that was being made, means I'm a "smart mark" about "everything". Great job there Columbo, now go figure out the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle.Seriously, from comments on the Youtube page, and the comments from Euthanasia, made it seem like Carr, by making a few jokes in his normal (and great) style, means that Joe should have gone over and beat the crap out of him. They're the people taking crap too seriously, it was a few jokes, get the hell over it.
  5. Is it just me... or does GTA4 look amazingly like Crazy Taxi with it's colors? *shrugs*Singstar wise... I love singing Wind Of Change from rocks, and Our House from 80's (to the guy who refused to buy the 80's one... c'mon, it's got Poison on it, instantly making it one of the best buys of the series).

  6. Literally had tears in my eyes when I read the post. I always hate to hear of those that I grew up watching as a kid, passing on. Especially those that I seriously enjoyed watching (and then saw that they're also such a great person outside of the ring too, thanks to Wrestlecrap). If there was someone who deserved to beat cancer, it was John.R.I.P. 'Quake. But don't go squashing no angels while ya up there. I've heard they don't like it.

  7. About two months back I was browsing for Katamari stuff online (I'd got hooked), and found a forum and people were posting vids and stuff, wish I had the link as someone had promised a video of them getting big enough to roll up the King & Queen on the level where you end up rolling up literally everything in sight.Seriously wish I could pull that off.

  8. I agree, the majority of games lately suck massively, the amount of work you have to do on some of the shooting ones just to hit someone sucks the fun out of it (re: Black). Some the camera angle just jumps in all sorts of wrong directions, whether you want it to or not (re: Tomb Raider Legend, Sonic Adventure (the game owns, but the camera angle is annoying)).There are other problems I have with 'em, but that's two of my main ones, so it's rare to find a game that's really worth playing.Another reason why Guitar Hero and We Love Katamari rock so much :D.

  9. On looking into Oblivion further, I might have got the game if it was released on PS2, but seeing as I don't own an X-Box of any kind (and have zero intentions of doing so), and refuse to play games on the PC (not only does it cost an arm and a leg to constantly upgrade for every new game... but it means I can't do sod-all else on the PC at the same time, I can at least play PS2 games and just pause to talk to people online without problem), it means even trying the game is out for me.That's the only problem with having so many consoles and such around... there's always a game on one you haven't got that you wouldn't mind playing, but refuse to shell out the cash to buy a console for a single game (Okay... so I did that with the Dreamcast to play Sonic Adventure, but I still count that as the best game of all time, so I landed on my feet there).

  10. I know plenty of people who play real guitar, who still rock out on this... and still miss a note or two (and that's on medium).

The one constant in the universe is that there will always be lots and lots of shit guitarists. :)

Of course, it would help to know what Oblivion was

Review by me about six posts up. Also, website.Ever try Master Mode, Johnny? I actually got to the final stage of Flyin' once, and then it just gets stupid. :(
Even though the guy who created one of the songs can't hit it 100% on expert? :) (and he had to play said song, for it to be in the game, so it's not like he can't play it on a real guitar). Not saying it's tougher than a real guitar, but because it's different, you can't compare the two, because you can drive a real car, do you refuse to play games like GTA, Gran Turismo etc.? Or perhaps wrestlers don't play wrestling games because they "can do it in real life"? Or mebbe people who dance for a living wont touch the dance mat games? As for the Eldar Scrolls game, I may buy it in the future, but it's not something that instantly jumps out at me and says "buy me now!" like Soul Calibur 3 did, or We Love Katamari, or FFVII & VIII on the PSOne... I admit, not many games do scream at me to buy 'em these days. But I'll likely wait for it to become pre-owned, in the past 12 months, I've only bought 4 new games... and only 2 of them were day of release (Guitar Hero & Katamari), the other two (God of War and GT4) I picked up 'cause they were going cheap in Woolworths while I was having to wait for a bus in Witney last Friday (only to find they don't work... off to take 'em back to the local Woolworths tomorrow... I mean seriously, what's the chances of two games from the same place just refusing to be read by the PS2... and it ain't the console, I only bought the thing at Christmas)I said I liked going on a rant didn't I? :D
  11. Problem with Gitaroo man is finding the damned thing, lol.I keep hearing about it, and wanna give it a shot, but can I find a copy (at a reasonable price) anywhere? Nope.I will admit, the only reason I was happy to shell out

  12. I know plenty of people who play real guitar, who still rock out on this... and still miss a note or two (and that's on medium).and by that comment it's "my" greatest game this year, never said it was anyone elses. Of course, it would help to know what Oblivion was, as there's quite a few genres that the "new age" consoles have actually screwed up (such as the first person shoot 'em ups, had a go at Black, which is massively over-rated, games don't need to be tough to the point that you need pin point accuracy to hit something, and not be able to see the people shooting at you... they need to go back and look at what made Doom so popular... and it wasn't fancy graphics...)GH is quirky, original, fun, and the type of game anyone can get into (When your 60 year old deputy manager has a go, and declares she wants a copy as well... you've definitely got a game that appeals to all generations). As for the tongue in cheek comment, meh, I never took it as one, but I'm easy to get to rant anyway, whether it's against ya or not, hell... the only reason I opened the thread was to see if anyone had mentioned GH, and if not, to mention the quality of the game myself (yes, the game's good enough for me to open a thread just to see if it needs comments making about it).Hence the long rant. I like rants... :D

  13. Last but not least, old PS2 barnstormer Gitaroo Man. Look, forget this Guitar Hero bollocks. I've seen it in the shop. You stand there pressing buttons and flapping your paddle without getting shot at or anything. That's not rock'n'roll, it's glorified bemani. THIS is rock'n'roll. Save the universe with the power of ROCK~! whilst listening to mentalist Japanese prog-rock and destroying every tendon in your fingers in the process. Yes.

Have you even PLAYED Guitar Hero? Greatest game this year, period, no questions asked, the only other game in recent history that even comes close to the originality and greatness of this is We Love Katamari (Bring out the original dammit!).Top quality versions of songs in the game, and while easy is just way TOO easy, you go to medium, which is a good challenge for newbies, but when you get onto hard and expert, they're serious wrist breakers with some of the speed that you have to change notes and chords.Okay, some people may be put off by the
  14. How dare you say it's fake...I mean, just because they left it in, never made any mention of it... their mouths moved differently to what they were saying, and the anytime any rude words appear they re-do the round, doesn't mean it's fake. It's obviously real!</sarcasm>
