Luke Harper could easily be a future World Heavyweight Champion.
Â
Whether he will or not, who knows... I'd get him right up there.
-
There's two types of Taxi Driver. Racists and bloody foreigners.
-
But Vince is a smart guy. Surely he sees the stupidness of killing Bryan as a character? Bryan must also not allow his character to be handled in that way. I know people bitch at CM Punk, but I remember JR speaking a few years back that what impressed everyone about Punk was that he would stand up against what he believe was rubbish for the character. Now I'm not saying you have to be whiney, just pick your battles, and Bryan must have known that would be awful for him? Show a bit of bollocks.
Â
I hadn't heard that Batista rumour. Anyone have a source?
Â
Meltzer in a recent radio with Alvarez.
Â
He does also say that the decision is not to do with any problems with putting Bryan over specifically but about money (lack thereof) and not getting what he was promised (fake title)

If he's so thick, how come he's the one who ripped you off? He's the winner, looking at the facts. He still has that

Virgil vs. Nailz at Summerslam '92 has to be one of the shittest matches ever on one of the WWE big four events.

To some extent, they're being loud because of the bad booking though, right?
Â
To some extent, definitely... and if this "bad booking" pays off with his big win on the big stage then it becomes "great booking".
Â
I think with how much he's been "screwed" recently, fans were hoping the big pay off would come at WM30.
When it became clear on Sunday that he's not winning the Rumble, it looks like that pay-off isn't coming. Hence people being rightly pissed.

It's Brock's little legs that distract me. It's like he's got the upper body of an ox and the lower half of a chicken.

Tough choice: Zayn, Grado or Daniel Bryan.
Â
Zayn's the greatest natural babyface in wrestling and has been for years, Grado's just hard not to totally love, but it really has been Daniel Bryan's year.
Â
Grado is the only man in wrestling getting better reactions than Daniel Bryan that I know of but in front of "slightly smaller" crowds.
Â
Fuck. I voted Daniel Bryan in everything this year! Voted Grado in this one. He didn't cut any wanky promos fed to him by shitty writers in the run up to a match with John Cena.
-
I'm guessing you didn't make it up to Scotland, Gadge?
Â
Here's the match:
Â
I had to vote for it. From about 31:00 to about 33:00 sells it for me.
-
It's yersel!
Â
It's fair that El Ligero is UKFF Top 50 #1 and Grado is Wrestler of the Year
-
Gotta vote ICW on this one. PCW, RevPro and Progress are the also-rans this year.
-
I voted for the one with the pictures
-
I stopped watching religiously in '93.
Â
It was mainly because I was coming up to last year of school so tried to grow out of it (should I be up the park getting stoned on rocky black and drinking 20/20 or at home waiting for Wrestling Challenge?) but also because my buzz was killed by 'mania that year.
Â
Wrestlemania IX was sooo shit... crap matches from top to bottom, a small time feel in that venue, and finished with boring Hulk Hogan coming back and playing superhero. In an era where we were sold PPVs for months in advance that show just took the fucking piss.
Â
And it seemed like loads of people had left with no information on TV as to why. WWF Superstars had gone complete jobber, rarely got mains with Brawler any more (we were told to watch this new show called Raw from this point forwards but fuck knows how we could watch it).
Â
This new guy with a deep southern accent started doing commentary and sounded funny too... it was good when Bret was champ but that was over too so "fuck this" was a pertinent point in '93.
Â
It was a turmulous time for sure.
-
Dunno what I was thinking with my last post. The best man for the gig is obviously Zeb Colter.
-
. . .Orlando Jordan. . .
Â
That's the man for the job right there.
Â
I thought Raw was pretty shit this week save for the main event angle that I marked like a fucking bitch for.

You picked Trevor? Wow, everyone else I know picked option C. You heartless monster.
Haha, I just pussied out on the deathwish, wanted to go an easier route, and figured Trevor would have a more interesting send-off than Michael. Trevor was actually my favourite character (which probably makes me more heartless, but ah well )
Â
You picked the worst option dude and missed a classic scene with Trevor when he returns to his trailer after the credits...
-
What's Kane wrestling in since he took off the mask this time? Is he still in the stitch suit?
Â
He isn't, at least not on TV. He's not had a match since he unmasked.
Â
Has there yet been a resolution to the Scott Armstrong firing angle, even a throwaway line I may have missed on commentary or in a promo?
Â
He fast-counted Orton to give Bryan the title, "confessed" and got fired, then turned up at Battleground when the original ref got KO'd, only to get KO'd himself by Big Show, and since then nothing I can recall?
Â
His appearance at Battleground seemed to suggest he'd been in cahoots with The Authority all along to discredit Bryan (and test Orton, I suppose), but I don't think there's been a mention of him since then?
Â
I think I recall a quick scene with HHH and Scott backstage when he returned.
-
Maybe he's going to F5 the Big Show for old time sake. Could see it happening given that Survivor Series drew so badly and next thing Big Show's wearing a nappy.
Menry one week, big show the next...
Â
Would fucking love Zack Gowen to get trotted out for this again though.
-
Just made the choice on the Big Heist, which one was I supposed to pick?
Â
Having played through the game twice picking the alternate option each time:
Â
- Hijacking the security vans is the more fun and more "film like" way to do it.
- Using the drill is easier
Â
Always choose the subtle approach

To a point but there's plenty of shows with rooms filled with internet fans where this doesn't happen... at those shows, the fans are engaged with the product and aren't chanting meaningless shit (except for "this is awesome" at the generic flippy crap).
