  1. Watched 'Bee Movie' the other day and I thought it was fantastic. In the same vein as lots of other animations that are seemingly aimed at kids but have enough jokes in for the adults to keep us entertained this was hilarious !! Not laughed out loud at a film so much in a long time. Jerry Seinfeld and Renee Zellwegger played their parts really well but the stealer of many scenes was Patrick Warburton who was playing...well...Patrick Warburton !! Really funny, cute film, the story wasn't fantastic but the dialogue more than made up for it. Highly recommended

  2. claudia_winkleman_1752782.jpg

Claudia Winkleman, I have the hots for her big time.

Hell to the yeah, she has been looking super sexy for the last couple of years. She was interviewed on something the other week and she remarked about how she now felt comfortable with her body and the way she looked. That new found confidence really shines through. it wouldn't hurt if she brought her sister to the party either. Winkleman sisters

  3. Enjoyed Plus One on Channel 4 last night, pretty funny. Seen the lead actor in something else before on bbc 3 I think, set in Blackpool which was quite dark so interesting to see him play a full on comedy part.

Lovin Only Fools and Horses on GOLD :) , I didn't really watch it a lot first time around apart from the Xmas specials.

I think you are talking about Funland, which was a rather dark series from a few years back.

Plus One is really quite fun, both episodes so far have been really good and it is good to see Duncan from Blue sending himself up. Worth a watch if you have not seen it yet.

Agree with you both. Even the actor who played mini Den in Eastenders has been funny in it so far. Good to see Big Suze from Peep Show in a selection of skimpy outfits in Friday's episode as well.

I love Big Suze, I would give my left nut to spend some sexy time with both of the Winkleman sisters

    :love::love::love:

In regards to Plus One, i'm guessing that he ends up copping off with the girl from his work. She is super fine !!:love::love:

I need a cold shower :sly:

  5. Just seen this on you tube http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=AHwntcnU9V4&...feature=relatedObviously the start of IPW/FWA fued, but what happened next, as I didnt realise Alex Shane was involved

I am going to quote the title of that video

    IPW:UK HotWired (10/15/06) - Alex Shane Returns

\'I'm guessing the UK in IPW:UK stands for United Kingdom right ? Therefore why the fuck has the date been written like that ? Here in the UK the date is written day/month/year NOT month/day/year. Why must we Americanise everything? I know it is quite a petty rant but things like that really piss me off
  6. WWF Legends tribute to Attitude era Superstars

This is something that WWF/E have always done really well, moving and emotive tribute videos. I don't think this one has been posted before. According to the original poster, Freddie Blassie cried when he first saw this. Not sure how true that is but you could believe it after watching this. A sad footnote to this video is that sadly most of the legends in that video are no longer with us :-(

  7. Well if we are going to do this here's a few more crackers for you:

    The Raccoons - Intro Theme

The Raccoons - AWESOME End Theme (Run With Us)

I love this programme, have since bought all the episodes on DVD. Can still bring a tear to my 28 year old eye even today !

Made by the same company as Dogtanian, another classic kids programme and theme.

I don't remember the programme that much but the theme tune is quality. Was reminded of this tune the other day when I heard the new McFly tune. The first few lines sound just like the Gummi Bears theme, here is the track so you can decide for yourself McFly - One for the Radio

In a similar vain the Alphabeats first single was accused by some of sounding just like this awesome kids TV Theme

And finally, another Disney TV Theme to end my contribution for now...

    Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers

  8. Off topic, got to say Dopper I love that quote you have in your sig:

A 20 foot ring of canvas and steel is their stage and their battlefield. For some it feels like home. Once inside these ropes, a moment can last for a lifetime. The reward for success can be great. But the price of failure is always devastating. It is on this grand stage called WrestleMania where dreams become reality. Athletes forge legacies. Mortals become legends

That whole opening to the Mania Of Wrestlemania is quality and for me is one of the best bits of emotive TV/film that WWE have ever produced. Superb !
  9. Does any body know where I can get hold of the UFC hype video that is played at the live events with the music of "Baba O Reilly" by The Who ?

It is like the WWE's Lonely Road Of Faith video that they play at live events. Anyone who has been to a UFC event knows how awesome it is.

    Cheers in advance.

  10. I have just finished watching Reign Over Me starring Don Cheadle and Adam Sandler in a uncommon serious role. The story tells the tale of Alan Johnson (Cheadle), a succesful New York dentist who runs into his college room mate Charlie (Sandler) who he hasn't seen in years. Charlie has lost his wife and 3 daughters in one of the planes used in the 9/11 attacks and has pretty much become an extremely intoverted recluse. Charlie has managed to "forget" everything that has happened in his past and so when he runs into Alan he doesn't recognise him. The film follows Alan's efforts to help Charlie deal with his issues and get some professional help.Although this film doesn't sound like a bunch of laughs I though it was a very powerful and imotive piece of cinema. The two leads were fantastic especially Sandler and it was nice to see him play away from his normal roles. The soundtrack was used as part of the story (they are all songs that Charlie has on vinyl or on his Ipod) and it supplies some cracking tunes, even Bruce Springsteen gets a few tunes in there.I really can't recommend this film enough, I thought it was fantastic.

Just to give a heads up to those of you who have not seen Reign Over Me yet, it is showing everyday this week at 10pm on Sky Premier. I urge you all to watch it. I watched it again today and it was still as fantastic and heartbreaking as the first time I saw it.Any way, on to another film I have seen recently,Walk Hard - The Dewey Cox StoryBought this on DVD and was really looking forward to it as I am a big fan of Judd Apatow films and John C Reilly and I have to say I have not been that disappointed in a film in a long while ! For a comedy I don't think I laughed at all for the whole 90min. I kept looking at the clock to see how long it had left to go. It was just a big, long, silly take on the Walk The Line film with John C Reilly playing the Johnny Cash-esque Dewey Cox. The script was weak but the actors did their best despite it. The only enjoyable part for me was the music as there were a few good original tracks written for the film. Even the cameos from Jack Black, Paul Rudd etc as the Beatles was awful. Considering this was supposed to be a comedy it wasn't that much funnier than the serious biopic it was trying to emulate.Definately give it a miss. I would be interested to hear anyone who said they enjoyed this as.
  11. I'm going to buy some films on Monday. Any recommendations? I would prefer something vaguely comedic or cool - I'm not into horror films. Also, any film/tv bargains you've seen in HMV or Zavvi that are kicking about at the moment?

Office Space - comedy from Mike Judge (King Of The Hill)40 Year Old Virgin - precursor to the likes of Superbad and Knocked UpSwingers - Vince Vaughn and John Favreux in ultimate cool, quotable filmBig Lebowski - If you've not seen this film you have not lived. Awesome Coen bros classic.Van Wilder - funny, cool, gross out comedy in the vain of American PieHarold and Kumar get the munchies - see aboveGoodfellas - the epitomy of cool. In my opinion the greatest film everReign Over Me - Adam Sandler in a serious role. Sad but awesome.Enjoly my friend
  12. The trailer for Red Belt a new MMA movie starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tim Allen (!) and Randy Couture. Looks pretty crap if you ask me:ClickyHere's the blurb:

Set in the west-side of Los Angeles fight world, a world inhabited by bouncers, cage-fighters, cops and special forces types, Redbelt, is the story of Mike Terry (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a Jiu-Jitsu teacher who has avoided the prize fighting circuit, choosing instead to pursue an honorable life by operating a self-defense studio with a samurai

  13. Saw The Pursuit of Happyness last night on Premiere. Great film. I don't think I could watch it again because it's so gut-renching at some points. It manages to hit rock bottom in simple, spectacular style without ever losing you before recovering to deliver the perfect ending. The kid in it is excellent, while Will Smith is just phenomenal. It just works so well. Chris (Snr) is fantastic, yet his moments of despair actually hurt me. It's a long time since I've watched something on the TV and wanted someone to suceed desperately.

Couldn't agree more. I have seen this twice now and both times it was absolutely gut-wrenching. Just when you think they are going to get a break something else crops up to get in their way. Great performances from both members of the Smith family. On a side note kudos to the make up artist (or lack of) who makes a normally stunning Thandie Newton look remarkably plain and (almost) unattractive.
  14. Anyone seen "Reign Over Me"? Stuck it at the top of my rental list after reading some good reviews. Wondered what some of you guys, Mr Seven in particular, thought if you've seen it?Apologies if it popped up earlier in the thread, I haven't read the whole thing.

Rick,it did appear a few pages back in this thread. Check out the comments:

I was welling up near the end during the court case, when Charlie finally breaks down. Such a good film, and the use of music is brilliant. This is actually the second time I have seen this film and both times there have been 2 scenes that always get to me. It's the initial scence outside the shrinks office where Charlie first talks to Alan about his family (great acting by Sandler, the director uses a lot of lengthy shots just on him and the emotion he portrays is heartbreaking) and the scene where Charlie goes back into the hearing and speaks to his wife's mother and father. That bit where he kisses her on the cheek and then leaves is great as well. One of very few films recently that has made me well up. Awesome flick.I agree, both of those scenes were brilliantly acted and the scene you mentioned at the end, when he goes back into the hearing, is my favorite of the entire film.

All in all a fantastic film, you should DEFINATELY check it out.
