He wouldn't pay that for it, even if the shop was right near his expensive flat in a nice area.
-
Yeah, in terms of dodgy justification, that list and PS's are night and day.
-
I saw it in 3D and I agree with all of that wholeheartedly.

You're dead right about that first cut killing it. I was getting right into it but it just lost me after that.
Â

That really is superb.

Apologies for the frustratingly vague opening here: Just applied for something through a big organisation's website, where I've applied for stuff before. It used to be a labyrinthine application process, but they've massively streamlined it. All good, you might think. But the streamlining mainly consists of them having removed ALL OPPORTUNITY to enter your education history, and leave you only a single field (with one "from" and "to" date field) for gaps in employment history. Me and my 2-year part-time MA look forward to being rejected shortly.

I've definitely seen an East/West Mids split. "Mom" seems to be a brummie thing from what I can tell. East Mids is "mum" or "mam", like Surf said.
-
That one about the age of the different incarnations is brilliant.

Not sure if you didn't see it and want to know, or did see it and want it explaining, so let's try to cover both:
Â
They had all the Doctors turn up (through stock footage, inside TARDISes which we saw flying around) to lock Gallifrey into a pocket of time to save it and leave the Daleks to shoot up themselves, implying that the Doctor had somehow summoned himself multiple times. The Time Lords, watching this from Gallifrey, said something like: "All twelve of him!" "No sir... all thirteen!" and it cut to a shot of someone pulling a handle down in the TARDIS, then a shot of Capaldi's eyes looking so badass it nearly gave me a heart attack.

Never doubt Moffat. Never. That was absolutely stunning. I began to think it was moving a little slowly, but the total nerdgasm blowout that was the last twentyish minutes was just perfect. All the callback lines, all the perfectly-judged humour, and, and, AND...
Â
-
An Adventure in Space and Time was stunning. David Bradley will be taking home a ton of awards. Just had my heart in the palm of his hand.
Â
Loved all the callback (callforward?) lines too. "Brave heart, Waris!" And "I don't want to go" was a total emotional cheap shot, but my god did it ever catch me hard.

Someone was in a rush writing the 5-point preview this week:
Â
1. Raw goes country
2. The authority is back from vacation
3. Kane might do something
4. You decide the WWE 2K14 simulation
5. We've got a PPV on Sunday
Â
Jeff Jarrett better be coming back in at least virtual form or I'll be especially pissed off about 1 and 4.

Blew my mind. What a brilliant surprise. If you haven't watched it, don't click:

When I heard McGann's voice, my heart did a somersault. And what a bunch of great lines too!
Â
"I'm a Doctor... but probably not the one you were expecting."
Â
"Will it hurt?"
"Yes."
"Good."
Â
"Physician... heal thyself."
Â
Also: Big Finish companions namechecked! It's canon! Probably! Maybe!

It's because his pecs were getting too tit-like. Kofi Kingston had the same thing, I think done by the same guy.
-
Edit: found the Reddit thread, which had a link to this amazing site of mental insanity.
Â
Â
Anyone else scroll through all of this this, going from chuckling to shaking their head, then absolutely DIE laughing when they reach the bottom and saw the link to "next page"?

Believable, over, gets other people over with them. Big Show is a great worker. Kane can be when he's on form.
-
Let's have a whip-round, see if we can get to the table.
-
If it was a reflection of anything inside the car, there's no way it would've suddenly flashed up in both you and your girlfriend's line of vision at the exact same time unless her head was right next to yours for some reason. A light source from outside catching the windscreen seems more likely to me, but god knows why it would look vividly like a person.
-
Yeah, for sure, even if they didn't have Hardy and Angle under contract, they'd crank out a DVD set for each of them and redo the Sting one. I doubt they'd make a killing out of the TNA library, but a) they'll buy it anyway because they buy whatever they can and b) let's not pretend they won't pay peanuts for it when the time comes anyway.

A bunch of last names isn't gonna help a lot for people who don't know who they are from looking at them. Give 'em some context! Is there a story behind the photos? If not, full names so people can Google them might clue them in as to what's so funny.

ICW have become a cult phenomenon entirely on their own terms, so they take this for me.
