  1. Kendrick is getting pushed as a Brian Pillman style character and hasn't lost a match since his move to Smackdown.Ezekiel Jackson, he had been in development since March 07.Funaki has been under contract since 1998.Colt Cabana is now wrestling on Smackdown as Scotty Goldman and lost in his debut match against Kendrick.Estrada has always been a wrestler but he was just being used in a different role. Kayfabe wise, Estrada signed himself to an ECW contract so he could have a match with Colin Delaney. Teddy Long was then made the GM.

  2. The chairshot heard around the world happened after a Stevie Richards vs. Luna Vachon cage match didn't it?Just got the date for the show, I think...Luna Vachon beat Stevie Richards via submission (Heatwave '95, ECW Arena - Philadelphia, PA - July 15, 1995)I believe Richards and Vachon had a few cage matches though.

  3. How many cage matches did the original ECW have? And what were they? Thanks in advance.

  4. I don't quite get the need for the pointless flamebaiting but I'll put some sort of answer forward. A large number of the people in the list actually run their own promotions, some own a ring and get work that way, others are just friends with shitarse wrestlers/promoters and get work through some sort of buddy system and probably by working for free. So its not as if the blame can be put solely at all promoters' door, good promoters who are willing to put a lot of money into their product will invariably hire better wrestlers and put on a better show conversely poor promoters who try and run things as cheaply as possible will end up putting on an abomination of a show.If someone is a crap wrestler, one would imagine that they have at least some idea that they are bad. Then again, I'd guess the only real advice some wrestlers will take on board is from other wrestlers (And even then only ones they'd respect), and I can't imagine too many wrestlers wanting to make themselves enemies of everyone else in the locker room by telling everyone that they suck and need to improve.

  5. I hope Doug somehow sees this thread as he did last year's UKFF Top 50, if only for the moment when Doug makes his entrance to a show and shouts 'Where's my write up!' in Moj's face as he did UKHardGay last year (Which by the way he never got around to doing).

  6. Hey moj....Bassey's gonna kill you...

Why kill Moj? Everything he posted was down to the votes made by members of this board and the statements given for the votes were taken from the ballots. If he's going to kill one person he'll have to kill us all. Also, given the amount of points Ronin amassed, its difficult to believe that any rigging took place. He came second on my ballot, but that's only because my hatred of Phil Bedwell's ringwork outshines even the biggest shitarses.
  7. Found this posted by Ronin on the TWO Forum:

as i came in a number 2 which i know i would as i was told so before it started.it is a bunch of people using the net to vent disagreements with me and mad mike in particular.there is a downer on midlands threads on the ukff and especially lpw as we did shows in mWales and fell out with GNP / NBW.but since this thread from wrestling twice in august i am know wrestling possible 8 times and for 2 new promotionsso personally it is good publicity.

    :confused:Please kill this man!
Ronin, much like the majority of people involved in LPW, will never actually get any better because they don't actually care enough to be bothered about critisism. I used to go to a load of LPW shows but the longer they promoted the shows, the more the decent wrestlers (left over from MPW) left to be replaced with green trainees and guys that have never appear to have been trained at all. That then had the obvious affect on attendance and interest in the promotion.Good work Moj, the list made very interesting reading. I don't agree with some of the people that made the list, but a good four-fifths appear to be spot on.

The inside cover of WrestleWar '92 shows these twelve videos already out and available. If the VA numbers are anything to go by, the first releases were Starrcade '89: Futureshock, Capital Combat '90, Starrcade '90: Collision Course and Halloween Havoc: Chamber of Horrors.

  9. Just watched the 24/7 rip of Clash Of The Champions XXXV. Does anyone have any idea roughly how many matches Stevie Richards fought while he was there?

WCW @ Colorado Springs, CO - August 12, 1997WCW Saturday Night taping:Stevie Richards defeated Lenny LaneClash of the Champions XXXV - Nashville, TN - Municipal Auditorium - August 21, 1997Raven pinned Stevie Richards in a No DQ match with the DDT at 5:04; prior to the bout, Raven grabbed the mic and said if he was going to wrestle for WCW it would be under his terms and the match would be No DQ; Richards agreed and the stipulation was addedThat's all History of the WWE seem to have for him
  10. What is making Sting not work for the WWE?

To stop rioting WWE want talent to work full time. Only well respected and loyal employees get time off in their contracts (Taker, HBK.)Sting doesnt want to work full time, thats it.
Even if they could work out the schedule - which I would assume they coulld when you look at the number of dates HBK does these days - doesn't Sting object to the WWE product on moral grounds?
Because TNA is a beacon of morality.
