  1. We're in an age where if you want to watch a TV show or movie, you just fire up Netflix, Amazon Prime or any other streaming service of your choice.

For music, you put on Spotify or Deezer. Lot's of new cars these days don't even have a CD player.

Who here still regularly buys DVD's, Blu Rays and CD's to build a collection. Do you go around charity shops or CEX to find a hidden gem?

For the retro collectors, have you kept hold of all your old vinyls, cassettes and VHS?

Do you have a room in your place where it's all displayed? Let's see them.

    Scream 2022

Stumbles a bit in the final act imo but overall I really enjoyed it.

Wasn't particularly fond of the "toxic fan" motive but the actual final showdown was fun.

The revelation that they were at the OG murder house was pretty cool.

I would say that this surely has to be the end but we all know they'll find a way to continue the series.

    Personal ranking.

    1, 2022, 4, 2, 3.

Really close between 2022 and 4.

Scream 6 has already been announced, with a returning Hayden Panettiere.

This was the Combat Wrestling Federation. I want to say that Poison’s name was Sam but my memory isn’t what it used to be! Last I heard he was living in Nottingham and well out of the business. It was purely his show, and he contacted Zandig and Wifebeater to bring them over for just this show. It must have cost him a bomb and there’s no way the 100 or so fans in paid that bill.

The rest of the card was Kev O’Neill’s Sovereign Championship Wrestling guys, some of the bigger UK names like Ricky Knight (the ? Is his son, Zebra Kid), Doug Williams, the UK Pitbulls, Jodie Fleisch, and Guy Thunder.

The main event was Poison vs Zandig and it went south quickly. One of them got a sanitary towel stapled to their head and then Poison made an ill-advised comment about prison bitches, leading to Zandig grabbing a pint glass off a table and smashing it over Poison’s head. They went to the finish, with Zandig winning, and then Wifebeater - who hadn’t been announced and was hiding in the back - came out and attacked Zandig with a weedwhacker. I don’t think they had an actual match - the plan was to bring them back to main event the next show but there was no next show.

Poison's name is Martin, last I heard he was living in Birmingham, was a minister of some sort, and also dabbled in stand up comedy.|
As far as I remember, it wasn't promoted by Posion, but some guy from Stoke who used to do online show reviews, can't recall the name though.

Kevin O'Neil ran the FWA Midlands training school in Digbeth, Birmingham, where the likes of The Hunter Brother, Jack Xavier, Brandon Thomas and Mr Nothing/Ian DaCiple came from. Poison used to attend the training, and then set up Sovereign Championship Wrestling shows, using trainees from the school.

Zandig did indeed use the pint glass after the prison bitch comment, but I think Zandig was also annoyed by Posion wearing 20 t-shirts to avoid the thumbtacks from touching his skin. :)

Fede Alvarez sucks though, aside from The Girl in the Spider's Web. In terms of horror, he's the biggest fraud in the genre.

Well I liked both Don't Breathe films and his Evil Dead, so i'm looking forward to this.

So that'll be the 4th remake of Texas Chainsaw?  Although I enjoyed the Alexandra Daddario one.

They've gone full on Halloween 2018 with this one, it's a direct sequel to the '73 original (not that that hasn't been done before either), but with Fede Alvarez attached it's got a chance.

  6. Rocky IV / Rocky vs Drago - Ultimate Directors Cut.
40 mins of new footage added, but they cut 40 mins of footage to fit it in. This cut makes it less 80's cartoony, and more like Rocky or Rocky Balboa.
I need to watch it again, but after 1 watch, although the new footage was good, I think I prefer the original.

That’s putting it generously. The second one is particularly awful, made only tolerable by Malcolm McDowell hamming it up for the pay day.

I’m surprised that Rob’s wife hasn’t tried to convince him to just go Director full-time seen as it seems to be the only work she can get

I like the Rob Zombie Halloween films, and from the reviews that I've read, it's generally the second that is favoured.

You'll be glad to know that Sherri is playing Lily Munster in the upcoming The Munsters film, directed by Rob Zombie.

Would like to know the reasoning behind calling it Scream. You already have the film and the TV series and this isn't a reboot but a continuation of the existing story. Baffles.

It's a continuation of the movie series, but it's a reboot, they're rebooting it for a new generation, and whilst they have 3 of the original main cast, I think it's centered on a new 'Sidney'
