There's a thread which might be worth a bump.

Thanks Tommy and my apologies for posting a new thread sorry guysÂ

Watched the above documentary on Sky last night and would be intrigued to know other people’s thoughts.
Thought it was an entertaining watch and there can’t be many former Hollywood actors who will fight Mexican wrestlers at traffic lights for spare change.

“Hit him again, hit him again” Tony Schiavone take a bowÂ
-
Kudos to the dubbed in Tony Schiavone “Merry Christmas to everyone watching on ITV” made me think back to those records where a child’s name is dubbed into the title of the songÂ
-
On the PPV where Vince announced the tragic passing of Brian Pillman at the commentary desk I am almost certain, Vince then said, “So this afternoon we scrabbled around and we have put together an attraction we feel you will enjoy”. Some little people then came out and did a comedy match. Or have I had a fever dream?

JR’s Valium gimmick is continuing; his mention of Sting being about to appear was said with the energy of announcing you are putting the bin out.Â
The Shaq and Brandi section was a shocker.Â
Jake Roberts pyjamas were startling and somehow courageous.Â
I wish I’d known Callis was going to cut pretty much the same promo here that he did on Impact because then I wouldn’t have had to watch Impact. -
Takeovers of 2 hours or 2 hours 20 minutes were perfectly fine and a good watch but no, every bloody thing now has to be a minimum of 3 hours.Â
That strap match went on and on and on. -
Loved the Mox “go banana” nod to Pat PattersonÂ
-
That “insider terms” cobblers with Taz was dreadful.Â
The Best Friends “offence” against Sabian and Miro was comedic.Â
On the plus side the silhouetted figure of Mox attacking Omega was a good visual.

Thoughts on Full Gear -
Omega and Page was a very good opener, that tiger driver looked a tad rough mindyou. Didn’t buy the majority of Shida’s offence against Nyla Rose and the match seemed to go on for weeks.
Initial thought FTR were wearing Elvis in Vegas jumpsuits. Match itself felt a little like they were spamming the finishers button.
JR and Schiavone clearly thought the Elite Deletion was bollocks, it felt like a bit of a retread until the surprise appearance.
My former mother in law would never ask me directly if I wanted a brew and instead would ask my then wife “does he want a brew” I bet Reba was like with Sammy during the filming of this.
In general, it was great to watch an event where there was a number of matches where I believed the outcome to genuinely be in doubt which I have to say hasn’t been the case with recent WWE PPVs I’ve watched. Could do without the in-match selling of games, drinks and books though.Â

That Shida Swole match, yikes.

Great to see Buster Bloodvessel in the main eventÂ

NXT version of thunderdome looked like the t shirt wall at HMV.Â
ÂFirst show I’ve watched in full in months. Really good show overall. Loved the main event, but I just love Kyle O’Reilly in general.Â
ÂHaving Beth Phoenix and Wade Barrett on commentary while showing Vic Joseph ringside at the table with a woman who looks like Sasha Banks (couldn’t they find a blonde wig?) and a bloke who was clearly not Wade was just bizarre. Why bother? They could have just moved the commentary desk elsewhere.Â
Thank God for that, I thought I’d gone partially blind thinking Phoenix was now the double of BanksÂ
-
My God, they booked McIntyre to look as convincing as Grandpa Flump. Three people interfere on his behalf and he only just sneaks a win. Yikes.Â

The trailer for Season 2 of The Mandalorian has been released today and Sasha Banks is shown in it briefly; apparently playing a Jedi.

I can’t get over Roman’s Barry Gibb teeth. Great stuff from Dominik and Seth.

Anyone else hear during the Ripley-Gonzalez face off one of the trainees yell “stop talking, make contact”

Would you then have to separate them on opposite sides of the arena like at football games? Careless WCW fans getting battered by a rival mob for walking into the wrong pub in their purple and gold outfits? The odd Raw taking place without a crowd not because of a pandemic, but because last week three eejits powerbombed a lad through the merch table during the divas match and spraypainted letters on his back.
There would be unwritten rules in place. Any fans with replica WWF/WCW shirts would be left untouched, scuffling would be restricted to smartly dressed fans of either side via prior arrangementÂ

This sounds like a fever dream but I’m almost certain there was an attitude era episode of Raw where it opened with Goldust in the ring reciting a Christmas tree poem. For some reason there was also a portaloo in the ring?? JR openly started laughing on commentary at the absurdity of the situation. Austin came out and stunned Goldust into the portaloo.
I need a lie down now.

Interesting two hour interview with Anderson and Gallows on their YouTube channel detailing their WWE experience. Then declining the AEW offer caused issues with the Bucks which they say are now resolved and although they don’t name him seems like Omega is pissed off with them to this day.

Apologies if it’s been posted before but Brian Glover v Les Kellet comedy genius

Now that “Tarzan Boy” by Baltimora has been licenced, can someone start coming out to the ring to Ryan Paris “La Dolce Vita” please? It’s ace.
The Waiting Room was bloody awful.Â
