I havenāt at any point in my post said he has a chance, I said I expect him released in a year at best. My sarcasm worked as it wasnāt clear your post was a joke as it wasnāt funny. Next time you return the favour, try and be obviously funny than waiting a fortnight for a shit retort.Ā
Have a great weekend š

Yeah that doesnāt work when my post made sense. Get yourself another beer in and try again in the morningĀ
No your post didnāt make sense you patronising cunt. Heās got no chance with that gimmick. You made a sarky comment to my post that was clearly a joke so Iām returning the favour.

Dunne has the time and ability on his side to see it out. He has a young kid and the wwe renewal made sense when he did it. Heās probably got a year max with that idea before a release, he can then go be an asset other placesĀ
Guess itās 5 o clock somewhereĀ

This always reminds me of the sunny 92 afternoon I was sat in Wembley Stadium

One question I do have about Regals podcast is after he speaks about the Misawa tragedy he then refers to it just happening again; was this a reference to Eddie dropping Jericho on his head or the Big E injury? Iām sure Meltzer said this had been recorded a little while agoĀ

What an incredibly moving listen that Regal podcast is. Unbelievable.
-
Echo everyoneās posts, I remember the vignettes on Superstars and his first squash match was the first time Iād ever seen the Razors Edge move in wrestling.
He looked a million dollars; had great entrance music and seemed like the coolest man alive.
Got to see him at the FTLOW convention in 2019 and he looked and sounded in great nick, as he walked back from an in ring interview to go back to his signing desk he gave my son a high five which was a thrill for my lad.Ā
RIP. -

It appears that Regal went long with his promo and has issued an apologyĀ
While Iām sure there would be very few who would hold it against him, thatās a classy thing to do on his part.Ā
Personally Iām looking forward to the upcoming podcasts that heās likely to appearĀ -

The tone of this is like "how would awful would this be?" but actually this would be amazing and I'd pay $100 to watch it on PPV.
Oh Iām fully onboard with this.

The next AEW pay per view main event will be Page v Danielson v Punk in a triple threat for the title. AEW fans will be heavy with expectation for a technical 45 minute masterpiece. Hold on, a coked to the eye balls Tony Khan and walks onto the stage - this triple threat just became a fatal four way (playa)
The crowd excitedly await the new entrant to the match.
Tequila is played and Danhausen minces his way down to the ring. The fans groan at a classic match being tarnished in this way. Danhausen curses the other competitors and they put their arms out in front of him like Frankensteinās monster.
āCos this is thrillerā yes Danhausen leads the three other wrestlers into a chorus of the Michael Jackson classic as the wrestlers start to do the famous dance routine. The fans are in tears of rage by now. Danhausen claps his hands and all three opponents fall to the ground and he pins them all at the same time. Danhausen is your new world champion. Meltzers star rating system implodes. -

On Rampage, during the break, Taz had a very genuine sounding rant about how Keith Lee would pass people in the hall without speaking to them, and that "saying hello" goes a long way sometimes. Jim Ross said something similar on the PPV, although this time, Taz attempted to justify it by saying it was because he was an "intense" guy. It'll be interesting to see what he does next.Ā
I picked up on that too and Lee mentioned on his recent Talk Is Jericho podcast appearance that he felt early in NXT the fact that he didnāt necessarily have conversations with everyone was held against him as a perception he was arrogant.

Poor old JR "where are we?"Ā Opener was good, tag match lots of fun.
Was impressed by some of the innovative Orange Cassidy moments in the ladder match.
Felt the crowd were dead for the dog collar match.
The Britt Rosa match may still be going.
Loved the surprise at the end of Moxley Danielson.
Sammy is a lunatic. Fair play to Sting too.
Main event just felt ice cold. Cole in AEW appears to be a well received entrance and little else. Feel like there was an over reliance on ref distractions throughout the event. And the superkick button got spammed.

Tony Khan looked absolutely off his tits. JR very obviously pissed off at the lack of response to his FTR Bucks suggestion. Could do without him verbally shitting all over Danhausen.Ā
The Punk MJF segment was great.

Vince is inducting 'Taker, McMahon announced it on his hour and a half long interview with Pat McAfee which could get an entire thread of it's own.
Has Pat been retrieved from Vinceās harris yet?

Loved JRs chuckle at the āwhatās a babyfaceā line?
Jericho seemed to stumble over his lines a bit. Kingston was superb.
MJF promo excellent; got to be leading to him doing something really bad to Punk though hasnāt it after eliciting some sympathy.Ā
Danielson really looks like a vicious bugger.
-
That was not a good show.
-
āI met his daughter today. What a lovely (pause) babyā. I donāt know why but that broke me laughing.Ā
God that Cole Page promo was boring.
-
The lone chant of āShane O Macā when Punk referred to bringing friends really made me laugh.Ā
Keith Lee looked good.Ā

Lucky enough to have seen most on my bucket list (mainly through Summerslam 92) however I had tickets for a Manchester house show in 97 (I think) but my mate I was going with pulled out the day before so I offloaded the tickets, Austin was on it for sure and I think Rock. Never saw either of them live as a result.

GLOW
in UK Fan Forum
Watched all three seasons of GLOW over recent months; enjoyable on the whole although the third series had fuck all to do with them wrestling.Ā
-
Love that Danhausen. I thought heād be YouTube fodder for them so pleasantly surprised to see him on Dynamite. Although this does now mean he wonāt be in the Royal Rumble which he would have won quite easily.
-
Codyās promo was so counter productive; inside terms ahoy and rambling all over the place. Less focus than a Nan with cataracts.Ā
-
Thought Orton/Riddle v Street Profits was a lot of fun; Becky and Liv got better as it went on, enjoyed the chaotic main eventĀ
-
How well does Danielson take the Buckshot lariat?Ā
Why was that fella in the crowd holding up Michael Jackson album covers? Iād like to see Dante v Darby at some point. Dante could do with working on his punches in the corner but as an athlete heās unreal.Ā
