  3. Cody had a good couple of matches with Rey Mysterio. I enjoyed his stuff in the Legacy vs D-X feud. But I never thought he was main event material. I always thought out of the tag team, DiBiase would be the main man.

  4.

Well I really enjoyed that. Kinda sums up Smackdown solid with ever being special.

Main was better than expected even with the dodgy ending.

Watching last night and for a split second I thought Ellsworth was going to climb the ladder.

Only real complaint is that the camera work is shit.

Replays of fan reactions. Fuck off with that shit.

Are they working these? Seems like they're planted people to react

Ellsworth climbing the ladder himself and stealing the title would have been interesting going forward. I'm surprised we've not had a MITB cash-in during a ladder match yet. Trot out, fresh as a daisy, push them both off before cashing in then climbing up to grab the belt. The heat for that could be ridiculous.

I said this last year. When it was Sheamus vs Reigns in a TLC match, they started brawling into the crowd late on. It would've been great if there was a money in the bank winner who just came out while they was distracted, climbed the ladder and won.

Great main event last night. Ellsworth was great on Talking Smack. Love the way they're going with it. I thought it would be Ellsworth realising Deans been a Cunt to him. Gotta say, James Ellsworth is more confident and competent on the mic that a lot of people on the main roster.

  5. Was at my local Homebase a couple of weeks back and the fire alarm went off. While waiting in the car park to be let back in, Rob Brydon was standing near me and looking annoyed. That Homebase is a regular hotspot for C list celebs and a few comedians according to my friend who works there.

  6. No, Neville has been on Superstars or Main Event. Whichever one was recorded before Raw. He was on the UK tour in September and November. I know he faced Bo Dallas both times

Sasha really needs to sort her hair out, as her receding hairline is getting worse each week.

I only recently saw some photos showing that, I'd never noticed before.

It's really quite remarkable actually, she's going to end up looking like Larry David by the time she's 40

Doesn't she have a weave? Isn't that why she's showing a lot of forehead, because the hairs pulled back?

  8. Great show. Bucks vs Briscoe's was awesome. Marty vs Will was awesome as always. Good crowd atmosphere. The section I was in was a lot of fun anyway. £30 for a photo with a tag team and £20 for a singles wrestler was a bit steep. I did pay for the Briscoe's as they rarely come here compared to others on the card.

Callum - My feelings on the commentary is it all sounds very false. False excitement. Unnecessary shouting/screaming that doesn't sound real. I know the commentary table is there now etc, but it all feels very post production. It's a chore to get through, even worse than Smallmans.

The whole "The Family" shtick is what annoys me. And the way they act like Progress is the best wrestling ever and slag off WWE for all their stuff... No promotion is perfect and they have to stop thinking Progress is and that they're the perfect fans. There's a certain fan in that group who is a bit of a know it all and made a claim he would welcome all new fans and make them feel at home. I was at the front of the queue when he and some others came over and I found him quite rude to myself and others who were also new. And yet he always brings up that 'One Rule' shit. But I suppose that's the clique mentality of some of them. If you're not there all the time, you're not really one of them. Or an 'Ultra' if you like

I get what you're saying. Personally I would say give the more recent shows a go, I feel like that's something we've been working on and has improved.

As for the fans, any hot indie product is going to gather a rabid cult. PWG, ICW, OTT, anything. It goes with the territory. Some wrestling fans are always going to be shit, or weird, or dicks. Sadly that also goes with the territory. I don't think it's unique to PROGRESS.

Not sure what you mean about PROGRESS slagging off WWE. PROGRESS have a working relationship with WWE!

Sorry, I should've made myself clearer. I meant the fans of Progress have slagged off WWE when they are pushing Progress as the best company in the world. And it's their opinion and whatever, it just becomes tedious after a while. Same as they can get like that with other UK Promotions. And I've been to WWE and Rev Pro shows and there is always a few fans that can be annoying, you'll get them everywhere. It just seems a bit too much with Progress. Leaving the group has allowed me to escape from all that and maybe in time, I will come back to the shows and enjoy it again and maybe even the commentary too.

As I said, I wish Progress luck. They're doing great things and have great shows with some of the best UK talent and I am pleased for them. It's just my personal opinion on things.

  11. I can't really watch Progress anymore. The fans in that Facebook group put me off. When they're not moaning, they're calling themselves the greatest fans in the world and Progress the best promotion and nothing else matters. They're just as annoying at the shows and it all feels very cliquey. Smallman is alright but he goes on too much during the show. The commentary has always been dire and it's worse with Callum Leslie and Glenn Joseph doing it. Great wrestling, enjoyed the few shows I went too and the DVDs I've owned and watched but I could only watch them with the sound down if I was to watch again. Shame. But I wish them luck

  12. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but the whole deal with Ricky openly saying hes against it, Roy commenting about her being "silly" - it just screams out to me that this is leading to some ADR-Knights feud.

It's what the people of Norwich want. It's the closest Zak will ever get to being a WWE star
