Just been looking at the TV schedules for Xmas. It looks like ITV have just gave up with their festive viewing. They have a Harry Potter movie scheduled everyday from Christmas Eve until New Year's Eve.Â
-
I'm sure there was talk a while back about a Takeover show being held on the night before one of the big four PPVs going forward.
-
I can't see The Miz winning the Rumble as I reckon Styles will still be the champ all the way up until WrestleMania.Â
-
Just noticed that GAME are selling WWE Network pre paid cards. Only thing with those cards is that you have to pay £30 for 3 months and you would lose your free month if you're a new subsciber.
-
Some would also argue that Owen might be alive today if he hadn't refused to do the 'affair' storyline with Debra. Some guys in the business claim the return of the Blazer gimmick was punishment.
-
I'm surprised that they picked up the sound of him hitting the mat. Lawler reckons the top rope broke his fall and he then backflipped into the ring.Â
-
I assume that pic with Vince and the pigs was taken on the day of IYH 5.Â
-
Yeah just before they air the pre recorded interview with the Blue Blazer you could hear JR say "we've got big problems out here". So that's obviously when Owen fell. They didn't put the cameras on the ring at all until Owen was removed from it.
-
Imagine if camera phones were around in 1999 there would've been footage of Owen Hart's death all over the net. To this day people probably still search for his fall hoping that the footage has surfaced. There was always talk that WWE did record the fall but destroyed the tape.

Yeah 1998 was full of shitty ideas that thankfully never came to fruition. Like Mero being booked into the main event picture with Austin. It was only after they had Sable power bomb Mero then apparently Austin told them to fuck off with the idea. Mero was no threat to anyone after that.Â
-
To be fair they could've chanted 'bullshit' instead of 'Goldberg' as soon as the match ended to close the show but they didn't.Â
-
WWE titles are nothing more than a prop. They lost value and meaning years ago.Â
-
I'm enjoying the new Tenable game show on ITV with Warwick Davis. He's a witty little chap.
-
It's good news for fans that buy tickets for Smackdown. Now there's also 3 hours of live action on Tuesday nights because of 205 following SD.
Â
EDIT Just a thought I would assume that Talking Smack will be pre recorded from now on because of 205 Live. I can't see Renee and Co hang around until midnight just for the sake of a panel show to discuss SD.

I fucking loved Bill's reaction to that F5 during the Rumble match 'Argh you son of a bitch'
-
If Lesnar also ends up in the Rumble match with Goldberg I have a feeling that they'll most likely eliminate each other.
-
Some of the chants are becoming so fucking annoying lately. Where did the 'please don't kill him' chants come from during the Strowman/Zayn match? Fucking pathetic
Â
Another average Raw this week. Looks like they've run out of ideas for Rusev again.
-
It was even more impressive the way he would actually catch some of them.
-
First I've heard of that story. I thought they let Ahmed go because they got tired of his constant injuries almost everytime he stepped into the ring.
-
I'd be surprised if Triple H is still planning on having a match with Rollins at WrestleMania. It comes across quite clearly on TV that nobody really gives a shit about Seth. His babyface push has been quite the flop. The crowd at Mania would probably end up cheering for Hunter once again.
-
Just know he wouldn't call me a nob to my face, and IF he did he'd be put asleep.
Â
And Ian is the keyboard warrior?Â
Â
I assume Impact doesn't watch any porn then? There's too many close up views of big cocks.
-
Yes Midnight for Survivor Series and 10pm for the kick off
-
Â
I'm sure some of that and the Taker/Mankind match got cut from the Sky broadcast when it was shown. But top match.
Not sure about Bret/Austin, but Taker/Mankind was cut down to what can't have been more than 5 minutes
Â
Â
Yeah we never got Survivor Series '96 and Royal Rumble '97 live. This was a weird couple of months for WWE on Sky. Even Raw was 2 weeks behind the US for a few weeks.
-
Bret Vs Austin from Survivor Series '96 was a fantastic match . It's a shame it got overshadowed by their submission match at WrestleMania.
What have you been watching on (proper scripted) telly?

It's pretty much the usual mix of repeats and soaps. The BBC are also breaking out the Indiana Jones movies in the afternoons as usual over the festive
period. If ITV are going to swamp their main channel with Potter movies then I assume all of the Bond movies will be all over their ITV4 schedule.
