I'm starting to think that we're going to get Owens Vs Jericho at the Rumble.  

As much as I enjoyed that hotel segment with Rusev/Lana and Enzo I couldn't help but wonder why Lana would have Enzo's phone number when she sent him that selfie. 

It looks like they are just playing hot potato with the Raw womens title now, I wouldn't be surprised to see Charlotte regain it at Roadblock.

That main event match was fantastic from bell to bell. Ambrose gets the chance to shine in these type of matches.  As far as AJ goes you really can't fault him, he's been superb throughout the year.  I thought the  IC ladder match and the womens table match were ok but nothing to get exited about.  I think a heel turn for Becky could be on the way. 

I knew I should've put a bet on I'm A Celeb.  I thought the winner was obvious from the start.

So Ric Flair has a theory that they could go with Triple H Vs Shane at WrestleMania.

Just watched Sully. It was a decent enough watch but it seemed like the whole story was rushed. Tom Hanks as always never disappoints.  The real Sullenberger obviously had balls the size of grapefruits.

Decent card for a Smackdown PPV. Of course the gimmick matches make it look good.  But compared to Backlash and No Mercy this should be an ok watch.

It would be better to see a short heel turn from Reigns before the inevitable Sheild reunion.

WWE have stuck up every RAW from January 2011 to October 2011 on the network...apart from one episode, the CM Punk pipebomb episode. Thats interesting in itself, i know the odd episode is usually missing but this is literaly just that one.

 

Id imagine it will go on, probably being cut a bit, theyve got the other episodes where he rips apart Vince and HHH on a couple occasions so youd think the episode will be added eventually.

 

Once they complete the 2011 collections thats every single RAW on the network

They had just recently added the missing episode from May 2000 also.  This just leaves that Raw Bowl episode from 1996 and then it's complete.

When Mania falls in April it usually leaves March a PPV free zone. So it's a good idea that they're having one in Feb and another in March.  I was expecting them to squeeze 2 PPVs back to back in Feb.

A bit of nitpicking here but I would rather have Raw do the Elimination Chamber PPV.

It's about time we had another Chamber match. It's been a while.

How have you seen the full documentary? It doesn't get released until next week. There's no copies of it floating around on XWT yet either.

At least we're still going to get a live Raw on Boxing Day as it falls on a Monday this year. I feared it might've been pre recorded to allow the roster to do their annual MSG house show on the 26th Dec. But it appears they are only sending the SD roster to MSG.

Fucking hell. Was Vince planning on doing that Gobbledy Gooker gimmick himself at one point ?

Every self contained episode has a twist. That was pretty much the format of the series. You know like Tales of the Unexpected?  It's hardly a fucking spoiler.

Keeley featured in a cracking series from the BBC called Murder In Mind. She appeared in an episode from the 1st series entitled 'Sleeper'. It's well worth watching if you like dramas with a twist in the tale. 

Should find out where that WOS will feature in the ITV schedules soon.  It's looking like it will air on New Year's Eve as expected.

Yeah I never looked at the top of the page.   They would probably drop Main Event too but I think they have to keep Sky sweet as they paid extra for them as part of their new deal with WWE.  It looks like WWE will have to continue with Main Event wheather they like it or not.

I think they've finally axed Superstars . On Monday they shot the Main Event taping before Raw instead of doing it before Smackdown as usual.

 

 

Anyone know when the Xmas issues of the TV listing magazines come out?

The double Radio Times and TV Times will be available everywhere from Monday.   What's On etc could be available from Saturday.

Charlie Brooker's 2016 Wipe  Thursday 29th Dec

Inside No 9  Tuesday 27th Dec  Although this episode has a Christmas theme it's not a Xmas special as such, it's actually the first episode of the new series that will continue through January.

The annual misery hour on Xmas Day AKA the EastEnders Christmas special airs at 9.30-10.30pm.  That's a late one for them this year.

Anyway Foley's teeth fell out. We just going to skip over that, then.

I've said it before and I'll say it again they really need to get Foley off LIVE TV.  It's one thing to fuck up your promos but spitting your teeth out is another.

All true virile young studs know that ITV Encore with repeats of Marple and Poirot is the most choice of Christmas day viewing.

The new Maigret with Rowan Atkinson airs on ITV Xmas Day.  I thought the last episode was quite decent. 

Don't worry Clint, I'm sure Dave will have some Xmas special panel show marathons lined up for you. Merry Christmas pal.

Channel 4 have a couple of those Big Fat Quizzes also. 

On a side note that Rillington Place looks worth checking out tonight.  Tim Roth looks a right creepy bastard in it.  I never watched the original movie but apparently it was good.

Where've you been reading these? I was sad enough to check the release date of the Radio Times bumper festive issue, and it's not out till practically forever and ever.

 

Digiguide release the schedules before they go to print.  The double issue should hit the shelves from Monday.
