    Oh, fuck off. Seriously.Ā

you're either deluded or playing the part of a Billy Big Bollocks.

Thats not a very nice way to speak to people is it?

I detect aspects of "toxic masculinity" in how you have worded that response to me.

Im sure some of the fine patrons on this site will point that out to you... or else they would be hypocrites and that wouldnt be the case on the UKFF surely would it?

I'm glad Fanny Pack was backstage at Wembley to let us all know what did or did not happen with such certainty.

Wasnt backstage, wasnt even at Wembley. Hope your gladness doesnt turn to sadness.

This is one of the most ridiculous counterarguments Iā€™ve seen in a while.Ā

While I donā€™t particularly care to get wrapped up in what is, ultimately, a pointless debate - Khan is a weed and Punk is a trained fighter with apparent anger issues; given that people have died from a single punch, I think itā€™s fair enough to utterly shit yourself if youā€™re Khan in this situation.Ā

Ultimately, I donā€™t think how Khan felt matters much at all. Surely we can all agree that attempting to physically intimidate someone who poses no physical threat to you (or even worse, attempting to assault them) is just plain wrong? It shows Punk up as being nothing more than a bully. Itā€™s a real shame too, as heā€™s one of the few major figures in wrestling willing to stand up for marginalised figures such the trans community. If you want to be an ally, behave in a way that makes you valuable to the cause. Not like this.

100% agree to bully someone is wrong.

The only reporting we have seen was that CM Punk lunged at Tony Khan. As of today, itā€™s been reported that language was toned down because of the lunging situation.

    I donā€™t know, but thatā€™s whatā€™s out there.

Physical attacks do constitute a ā€˜threat to lifeā€™, it doesnā€™t have to be things like bomb attacks or car crashes. Thatā€™s mad.

If the situation made Tony Khan feel his life was threatened, thatā€™s entirely up to him. We donā€™t know. You donā€™t know. All we think we know is CM Punk went for him.

And, for what itā€™s worth, if I was Tony Khan Iā€™d probably be shit scared of CM Punk. Heā€™s twice his fucking size.

But, my original point remains, none of us have any idea. Itā€™s up to Tony how he feels. And an earthquake isnā€™t the only way to threaten someoneā€™s life.

Ive just come home from Florida, I went to Universal and went on the Jurassic Park ride. On that ride, a T Rex "lunged" at me, it was bigger than CM Punk aswell, and I didnt feel it threatened my life.

Like most disagreements on here I think we have come to the "agree to disagree" stage.

    Different mentalities.

This has to be a joke right?

Choking, punching and falling items arenā€™t exactly unheard of causes of death.

Likeā€¦ choking. Itā€™s almost the main one people are scared of if they get attacked by someone they canā€™t fend off.Ā

Such a weird position to tell someone else how they should feel based on something you know nothing about. But crack on.

Tony Khan said life in danger, Tony Khan wasnt choked or punched was he? Therefore, once again, your arguement is unsubstantiated.

For me, life in danger would be scenarios where you would be in a car accident, an earthquake, a bomb attack.Ā

Tony Khan witnessing CM Punk fight with another adult would not justify him to say he felt his life was in danger. Like a previous poster has said, it appears he has said this to use should any legal action come him way. Fair play to him if thats the case, hes got to cover himself.

If you are going to reply back, please reply back in context of what I am saying and not just to suit your argument.

I have to repeat, you werenā€™t there and you have no idea. What if Punk threw a monitor at his head and screamed ā€œIā€™m going to fucking kill youā€ whilst going towards him? Tony Khanā€™s a small guy with zero training in anything as far as Iā€™m aware.

Weā€™re all basing our opinions off of dirt sheet reporting, which Meltzer himself has said heā€™s edited a bit because of the legal situation. Itā€™s all nothing to us, itā€™s Schrƶdingers shitshow; anything could have happened or not happened.

The one thing we know is, when the box was opened the cat was fired for being a cunt. Thatā€™s all we know.

Well im going to presume you wernt there either, so all this whataboutery isnt really going to provide you with a strong argument.

If Punk has choked him out, punched him, caused moniters to fall... none of that is life in danger scenarios.

Na im about as hard as a wet newspaper me but "life in danger" is farfetched. So many scenarios in the world where "life in danger" would be justified ("justified life in danger chants by this Dynamite crowd") but all 180 pounds of CM Punk throwing a tantrum backstage isnt one of them.

From the sounds of it it wasn't just 2 fellas having a scuffle. It's one bloke losing his shit, throwing punches and choking out a co-worker and then physically going after his boss in front of a bunch of company employees and venue staff. Very few jobs in the world where that doesn't end up with you out on your arse.

I agree he deserved to be bulleted but "life in danger", come on.

  11. Tony Khan saying he felt "his life was in danger" seems to be a bit of stretch for me.

Hes made the right decision getting rid of Punk but saying that makes him sound like a right tit.

2 fellas have had a scuffle. No ones life was in danger. Seems he has snorted so much snowflake hes eventually become one.

Iā€™ve never really understood the criticism of Knightā€™s persona. Wrestling has always recycled what has worked. Carlito was a take on Razor Ramon, JBL was a take on Ted DiBiase, Hulk Hogan took a lot from Billy Graham, Abyss was a Kane rip-offā€¦it happens, and often in short order.

Itā€™s been more than two decades since the attitude era, so there will be fans in their early 20s and younger who havenā€™t even seen the wrestlers heā€™s taken inspiration from.Ā

I think the "LA Knight is copying The Rock and Austin" noise has come from a vocal minority that others have latched onto.Ā

You cant not notice the similarity to The Rock but im not thinking, "hes ripping The Rock off".

Nash's comments escalated the agenda against him.

Personally I think we have just got to enjoy the LA Knight ride, waiting for a world title which may never materialise will spoil the fun.

  13. Just watched the LA Knight/Miz promo and it reminded me of a similar promo Miz did with Enzo a few years back.

Enzo got decapitated by Miz (and rightly so, Enzo deserved it).Ā

Miz always goes to the "i was kicked out the locker room" so it was nice to see someone turn it round on him.

A thoroughly enjoyable back and forth.

  14. Since it opened it was always somewhat of a dream of mine to go to Hogans shop in Florida. A shop dedicated to wrestling? Count me in!

Well today the dream became a reality and the reality was a nightmare.

The t-shirts were made out of garbage material, the print on them was even worse quality and the prices were an absolute joke.Ā

I no sold for the Immortal One and left empty handed, Brother.

You could interpret Priest was going to clatter Finn after hitting his finish on Seth and steal the pin. It just plays into the paranoia of having the case holder close by.

Makes sense but still a very clunky way to go about it.

  16. First PPV ive watched live since the Lockdown Mania.

Mens MITB flattered to deceive for me, would have liked LA Knight to win but they have a invested alot in the Judgement Day and Priest is probably more deserving of the win.

Havnt really got an opinion on the womens tag or turn.

Gunther looking strong, carrying on his reign was predictable but entertained.

Cody/Dom was basically an chance for the crowd to sing Codys entrance. House show match.

    Nice to see Cena.

Womens MITB was quality, miles better that the mens. Better spots, good intertwining storylines. Trishs nose looks like it took a battering.

Solid match between Seth and Finn but the ending was awful. Made no sense for Priest to stand up at the point Finn was looking for the win.Ā

Main Event, match of the night, right result. Not a clean pin for me with the low blow starting the ball rolling (pardon the pun) for the finish.

Really good show, well done WWE.

Thanks for nearly spoiling it for me, I hadn't watched it until this evening. You might have been right but you're also definitely an enormous weirdo.

    An enormous weirdo? Christ.

Im not going to lower myself to your level of appalling choices of name calling, mental health awareness and all that.

    I hope you enjoyed Mania.

Last post from me on this subject lads.

It would be rude of me not to mention that when I said Reigns would win and quite a few posters begged to differ, some with valid arguements and some with not so valid arguments, you were all wrong.

    See you all next Mania!

My post had absolutely nothing to do with yours and was a response to others who had posted. There's only one person coming across as upset here.

Sorry mate, its just when you quoted my post yesterday asking what "AEW stink even is" (which I ignored because Im not looking for aggro on here) and then you mentioned it again on your post earlier on today.Ā

It must be somebody else you were referencing who had said "AEW stink".

  20. I actually want Cody Rhodes to win now so it validates what Devon Malcolm is saying seeing how upset he is.

We are grown men with differing opinions about wrestling.Ā

Ive been very respectful on this thread because in context, what we are discussing is not important in the slightest.Ā

You have called me out for posting "over and over again" which I have no problem with, I thought it was funny and liked the post- only for you to carry on posting about it.

You cant have it both ways fella!

Just replying to valid opinions that have been made that oppose my opinion.

Totally appreciate Im in the minority with this one. Apologies if you think Im stinking up the thread, us useless things from the 90s need to stick together.

    Have a good one mate.
