"I did not hit her, its not true, it's bullshit, I did not hit her, I did noooot...", 32 takes, and that was the best one
Is it the Citizen Kane of bad movies? Was the one cinema that showed it right to offer no refunds and claim "seeing this film is like getting stabbed in the head"? Let's find outIt's so bad. Don't want to commit a forum no no and cross into on topic but OSW review of The Room is genuinely one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
Theres a documentary and a book as well that's worth checking out as well I think.
Oh and peer pressure has meant The Burbs has gone on...forgot how good it is...

I've just found out that there is a showing of The Room in Hull in two weeks time
Oh hi Mark

Just started The Thick Of It. Like what I've seen so far but bit uncomfortable watching Chris Langham.

Seen her on Broad City?
Nah, it is any good?

Just feels really disjointed and I get the idea of the showcases but just doesn't really gel?
Isla Fisher though and actually being able to fancy Maebe without feeling weird is good.

Love the show but Arrested Development Series 4 is an absolute chore at times.

He told me he once drove to Bill Dundee in his bare feet

Fair enough. Must've missed everything that went down.

There's the health and fitness thread? I'm more than happy to help as well if I can.

That vest Rollins had on. Jesus.
Every time I see or hear Seth Freaking Rollins, it just reminds me of Moe when he turns the bar in to a family restaurant and loses his shit "Too freaking bad"

I don't read this scotswizard cunts posts, but someone tell me who does. Is he actually a wrestling fan? I don't see the point of being on here if you're not. Or am I out of touch?
No, it's the kids that are out of touch...

'Hour-ish gap between bands' does not equate to what I said in my post though.
Fair enough I apologise.
Oh and PunkStep, man like me is only 32 and still as fucking cool as always.

??? You're not going to like EVERY band on the bill are you?
Same reason festivals have things other than music (signing tents, comedy stages), sometimes you just want a break from the music.
Personally, the Download line up is sick this year, gutted I'm not going. But if there was an hour-ish gap between bands I'd want to see, sure I'd go and watch the wrestling.

Decent PPV, thought Joe and Wyatt teaming up for a fair bit kind of killed the momentum of the 5 way but understandable why they did that.
Really enjoyed the Neville Aries match but have to agree with who said it, the ref threatening DQs, rope breaks, count outs ruined it for me. Is this normal? I mean was it mentioned anywhere that they could win via those methods, because if so, what was the point of it being a submission match?

The Signature Brew stuff was pretty nice to be fair. But yeah it's a rip off. Is Download still Tuborg sponsored? Hate that shit

Dunno about pints but last week at SlamDunk it was £5 for a bottle of Carlsberg or Strongbow Dark Fruits or Kopperberg so not even a full pint.
The craft beer van was doing pints at £5.50

It was a bit confusing as it seemed to be 1 of about 3 "official" themes but NXT: Takeover Chicago had Overthrone by Hacktivist, a fairly small UK band, which is nice. So I'm all for that being the way forward.

When I was 18, I had a cat (Pip), who I absolutely adored.
Anyhoo, one day he came in with his tail all floppy and in a lot of pain. Took him to the vet who said he likely got clipped by a car and basically broke his tail. Had it amputated so he had this tiny sad stump. Like you, I had no insurance so it was about £600 for the op. But the kicker was that they spayed the little bugger whilst he was under and didn't even ask, and chucked another £100 on top. CHEEKY FUCKERS
It was weird, when you stroked him his little stump would raise up and he obviously missed it. Bless him

Personally for me I didn't like the build. I just found Bret very uncomfortable and looked lost every time he appeared, just out of sorts. I guess that's more what I meant. The match itself was fine, but it just made me sad to see him looking like that.
I also thought they could've give him something a bit fresher to start off with?

Just watched Souled Out 98. Ugh.
The lead up to it as well after Starrcade 97 is just the drizzles. Giant/Nash stuff with the lawyers is abysmal, Flair/Hart just sad.
Plus that botched powerbomb from Nash. Jesus Christ. Hogan afterwards saying "I taught him that move" erm sorry what?
The only bright note is Jericho finally turning heel and Raven/Benoit bits.
WCW turned shit very quickly didn't it

Top work Keith.

Master of None is pretty fucking great isn't it?
Honestly, parts of Series 2 are just magical moments of TV. Beautiful stuff.
