Could they throw a surprise in there, Lesnar wins at Fast Lane to take on Triple H at Mania. Giving Reigns a match against Taker?
-
The only thing I can come up with as to why they've thrown Reigns into the number one contender's match is them saying he has to earn his rematch that every other champion gets without questions.

I know pretty much everybody on here hates Byron Saxton but yet again, WWE don't do anything to make people think any differently about it. Owens cut him to ribbons the other week when he was on commentary, Rock just embarrassed the fuck out of him last night. If WWE is telling it's fans to think of him as a dickhead, why bother putting him out there?
Divas division has taken another nose dive as well. At the Rumble everything looked on the up, last night it was back to who cares.
And finally, they built the whole Fast Lane main event on the premise that everybody was out to prove themselves on RAW. So they put a fella in that main event who didn't even show up on RAW.

Beer Money still going?
I haven't watched TNA in yonks, probably a good five or six years. But they were knocking about back then as well. I do like it when tag teams stick together for years rather than about a year, split, feud.

And he won!

He needed somebody to play on the right wing...Hulk Hogan
-
Rob Beckett just got a collection of wrestling figures out on 8 out ff 10 Cats does Countdown.
He got Andre The Giant, Big Boss Man, The Mountie, Noel Edmonds (Ted DiBiase), Koko B. Ware and Hulk Hogan.

Is everybody told to go out there and just embarrass and humiliate Byron Saxton? Owens cut him to ribbons last night and all it does is make WWE look stupid for hiring somebody that your entire fan base thinks is a dickhead because that is how you've told them to think about him.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal?

Flair tripped Alicia Fox on this week's RAW.
-
Who could give Steph comeuppance on the show now though, given that fellas aren't meant to lay hands on women (although it's alright for Flair to trip Alicia Fox up?)
One way they could possibly go is have Naomi defend Reigns as part of the "family" thing. Her to get beat, which leaves it to Sasha to defend her mates honour and in the process she gets the face turn that's being banded about.
It doesn't have to be a physical thing. She got chucked in mud by Vickie Guerrero and arrested for assaulting Brie Bella. Both great pay-offs. She could be suspended for 90 days or made to do demeaning jobs. Made to be someone's PA (and walk their dog ad pick up its shit, that'd be nice payback for you know what). She could have to wear a clown suit or go on a date with the Boogeyman. The possibilities are endless. Bet no-one dares to suggest them though.
I get your point mate, but wouldn't being forced to do demeaning jobs or wear clown suits at WrestleMania actually make a babyface look worse.
They're meant to be the goodies (though I'm sure Bill, Tim and Graham would argue with that) who shouldn't be advocating bullying of that nature. Remember the shit Cena got for torturing Big Johnny that time? Does Reigns come out of a similar situation looking any better for it?

Was Seth Rollins really that shit a champion?
Since his injury, the RAWs have, by and large, been so much better.

From about 4.15 in.

If they're gonna continue with Reigns delivering long winded promos in the ring then he needs a catchphrase that the fans can get involved with as well. "And you can believe that" could do the trick if he could somehow include the fans in it.

The League of Nations is a good idea, just as is most of WWE's good ideas of late, shite in execution. Three of the four have scraps, apart from the opening four team match, and none of their mates come and help them? It's mind blowing at times how daft the writing can be.
Also is Charlotte a babyface or heel or what? The only thing I do know about her, is she's Ric Flair's daughter. Still. After all this diva revolution bollocks, that is all she still is. She's not her own character. She's just a caricature of her arl fella. And a bad one at that.

I'm guessing this is this year's attempt of rekindling the love for ECW? Throw Heyman in there with them while we're at it.

Is this current problem down to the reliance on Cena over the last decade or just bad luck?
If they were able to keep Edge, Daniel Bryan, Batista, Punk, Jeff Hardy and Angle around for the past 5 years, then the transition into the "next era" would be a lot easier. As it is, they've all left (or as good as gone) for varying reasons. Health issues, wanting to go onto other ventures or just throwing a paddy. So the only standouts they've had is Cena and Orton. They then get cold feet whenever pulling the trigger on a real new star to go over Cena, while they've watered Orton down so far that beating him doesn't hold the same sort weight as it did. It's basically the same as beating Kane, Big Show, Mark Henry nowadays.
There's no stars to get the rub off anymore because the stars they had have all, more or less, gone.

How to fix RAW?
Give it a new logo. With the exception of the end of the "w" in RAW going over the top of the word, it's practically the same design they've had for the past decade. Would it make a huge difference? No probably not but it's a start.
Get rid of the three man commentary team, it's never really worked for WWE, get it to a two man team and unless it's really good like JR and King, change it every couple of years. And ensure they stick to the product. Nothing worse than halfway through a match them going off about twitter or trying to explain a JBL joke. Also calm down on the amount of other non-WWE advertising they do. People aren't watching wrestling for mountain dew or k-mart.
Pack it in with stupid phrases that mean nothing like "season premier" when it's the middle of October and the WWE "year" starts the night after WrestleMania. If there is a "season premier" of RAW, surely it's that one?
Knock a writing staff of however many they've got now down to two or three for each show, also give them less time to write for by knocking it back to two hours. And in those two hours, leave off half as many adverts as they've got now. One thing that turns me off from watching it (I do tend to watch RAW live) is the adverts but I know that's not gonna change.
Allow wrestlers to be creative themselves. Scripted work is fine, it gives them something to go off. But at the same time allow them the ability to ad-lib when they're actually delivering whatever it is they're saying. Off the cuff stuff doesn't always work, you can just go off on one at never get to the point so there has to be a guideline.
Utilise your roster. If wrestler a and wrestler b are feuding, it doesn't mean they need to be in the same match every single week because by the time the pay-per-view comes around we've already seen those two go at it six or seven times so what's the point?
Bring back a "fun" championship. A highlight of the Monday Night Wars were the Cruiserweights in WCW and the Hardcore division of WWE. Those sort of fast paced, high spots action really gets a crowd into it. There doesn't even have to be a story for those matches to hook fans in. Any random fella can challenge for the title and usually the fans will enjoy it. It's a meaningful match that isn't so one dimensional.
Add a bit of colour to your wrestler's attire. You're WWE champ is a fella who wrestles in black trunks (backed up by two fellas wrestling in black trunks and their country's colours somewhere on them) - his opponent is a fella who wrestles in a black vest and black kecks, your IC champ is a fella who wrestles in a black t-shirt and black shorts - his opponent wrestles in a black t-shirt and dark blue jeans, your US champ is a fella who wrestles in black trunks - his opponent wrestles in a black singlet (unless he reverts back to the old blue one). Black trunks can work (Rock, Austin, Triple H being obvious examples) but when it's the same up and down the entire card, it can't half get boring.
Explain to the viewers why things are happening. Do we know why Stardust and the Ascension have joined up? Do we know why Rusev is helping Sheamus other than the fact that they were put in some random six man tag about three months ago?
Allow for wrestlers to have more than one feud at a time. Ambrose has pinned Breeze twice now on RAW, allow them two to have animosity with each other as well as with Ownes and Ziggler.
And finally, tell Vince McMahon that he either changes his ways or he fucks off because his running of the company at present isn't good enough.
-
It's amazing that they open the show, showing respect to those who died in Paris and end it by showing no respect to the son of one of their all time greats.
-
Interestingly Darren Fletcher, sat beside Rooney, didn't get any attention.
-
Why did they have Breeze lose to Ambrose? Wouldn't it of made more sense to have him lose to Ziggler then in the next round for revenge, distract Ziggler so Ambrose can win?
-
If we're going by the general rules of wrestling, its a match contract he has in his briefcase. I imagine there has to be a match going on before he cashes it in.
Can't he come out to the ring and just throw a challenge out to Seth, who clearly wouldn't answer and therefore win via forfeit. I'm not sure if titles change that way though

Can Sheamus cash in right now when there's no champion?

Can't see them doing it either but it could give Reigns the shot in the arm he needs.
Losing the chance to regain the WWE Title, could give him a heel turn. Then he could face Taker, in his own back yard, and Reigns wins retiring him. He can brag about it for the rest of his career then. They could build SummerSlam as the man who ended Undertaker's Streak against the man who ended Undertaker's career.
