  1. They do. You can get a radio earpiece that has the commentary.

Yep calling bullshit on that one. I've been to RAW TV tapings three times, in consecutive years, and never has this ever been remotely seen to be a thing. How would they get them back if this was a thing? unless you put some money down or something, it'd be a massive error on the arenas/wwe's part to let people walk off with ear pieces in.

  2. Attack on Titan is very good, fairly simple story and is just so well made, its looks great. Tokyo Ghoul was a bit much for me, (vrey gruesome in places) so depends what sort of thing you're into.

  3. I can't remember if this has already been mentioned, but my mate who is really big into Anime keeps going on about a series called Sword Art Online (I think). Its on Netflix so give it a whirl if you are looking for something new to watch. I tried it, but again the subtitles were doing my head in

Sword art online is "OK" . It has a decent story behind it, but is over very quickly, when the initial story line could have lasted a long time if the spun it out a little bit. That and its constantly trying to hit you "right in the feels" so its a lot of crying and stuff like that.

To be honest its not anywhere near the top of the list in terms of Anime's that are "Great", in terms of what I've seen.

  4. The way I look at is this:

Some people have baggage/issues or whatever they have, and you can try and "help" all you like. But when you start doing stuff for them , (IE cleaning their shit tip of a house, being the responsible party in certain situations) then that's when you have to say "look, this isn't my problem, this is your problem" and just leave them with it. My uncle had near on the same thing with a women he was seeing, basically used him as a live in butler to cook/clean/run the house/look after her kids/sort her pets out, all whilst she did nothing but complain about him.

To top it off, your lady sounds like she doesn't care to much for yourself, if shes courting other men, so yeah. Leave her out and block her so all future messages fall on deaf ears mate.

  5. Yep, as above, just walk away now.

Tell her your leaving her, then block on all social media, and just leave her with it. As much as we all like helping people, all of the above is simply "not your problem", so as such just leave her.

  6. In WWE's defence, isn't it most likely that the way they "advise" the diva's to look is essentially to gain more viewers, of the primary target audience of men aged 18-35?

WWE used to have proper "women wrestlers" pre attitude era, and I'm sure some wrestling fans actually liked it. But in saying that, come the attitude era when dolled up, lovely looking ladies wearing not much turn up, I imagine that does contribute somewhat to the ratings. These days some of the diva's aren't any where near as obvious in terms of appealing to that portion of the audience, but they are they to cover the bases and draw in the bloke who just like looking at nice women.......which essentially is all straight men on the planet, so you can't blame them for doing what they do.

Would I like to see more legit women wrestlers on TV? Yes I would. Do I also fancy the hell out of heel Lana in the suit with the tied up hair, even though I don't think she's very good at anything else......also yes. And I'd rather stare at Lana, that see legit women's wrestlers.

  7. He did NOT get paid 80 nor did my dad attack him. He's lying to get more people behide him. I really wish he did call the police.

Why are you still replying? We've all said, just stop biting and it'll all stop. If you'd have just gone along with the jokes instead of being just the worst about all of this, it would have gone away and you might have even got a few paying customers out of it.

Now you're on here arguing about details, that non of us on here will be able to really confirm anyway, expect going off some "he said, she said" type stuff. Which in fairness, non of us really care about. We're continually pointing out that you've made an absolute birk of yourself, and others know it, cost you (or your parents) £1400+ for something that should have cost A LOT less.

  8.

The majority of those 30 people probably weren't UKFF people anyway, and it sounds like the show actually ran smoothly and was entertaining, so Adam's behavior on here isn't going to stop casual fans going

From what I've seen only 1 of those 30 was a forum member.

Bowler just has a bad reputation with the forum, and some industry members from what I can tell. He needs to focus on improving this image and advertising/promoting more locally to draw in the casual fans.

  9. Beaten to it, but yeah its the amount they make Vs the amount they donate......which is very little apparently.

    Taken from wiki:

"Some campaigns require that consumers mail proof of purchase for a promoted item before the manufacturer donates a few cents per purchase to charity; some have a cap on the maximum amount donated, with all sales beyond this fixed limit benefiting only the company, not the promoted cause"

  10. I think Gotham has some good ideas, (younger penguin working as a lower guy, Edward Nigma working for the police), but half of was given away just to soon. And I'm not sure if its been 100% named yet, but they are teasing the Joker...How does that even work? It'd be so beyond random to have a 20-something joker, and a 12 year old non-batman Bruce Wayne.

  11. Daredevil was indeed a game changer, but Agents of Shield is really good, at least in my eyes. Gotham though, I felt at least, was more about name dropping that it was anything else.

As an example, it was giving it the whole:

    "whats you name?"
    " JAMES GORDAN ;) You know....from BATMAN ;) ;) "

Which I just could NOT stand at all. I think I turned off during the first episode after the line "He's going down 4th and Grundy" or something. All he needed to do was look into the camera and wink to top it off. Its almost a parody show, its so terrible.

  12. I've had that, basically having a one sided discussion before where you lay it all on the table and  they don't have any issues , because its all one sided apparently. It makes you feel like you've gone crazy after a little while.

For what its worth, in my experience its just because she's mad at you and also very stubborn. I went through a period of this with an ex, that just didn't get resolved. Many years later and we talked about it again, and she opened up detailing her issues/problems etc, basically as I'd asked of her many years ago.

Just get out there man, I'm similar in not being the most social person, but find a new interest/learn a new skill and along the way you might bump into some new people. Worst comes to the worst, find a new local and just start chatting to people, I find having a beer in me helps bring down the walls a little bit.

  13. To be honest, whilst a hulk solo film would be great, I'm happy the way things are. Why ruin a good thing? He steals the show in the 2 movies he's been in so far, (plus the iron man 3 cameo in the after credits was fairly funny), and will be great in any of the other movies he'll be in.

People have suggested he go off to space for Planet Hulk or show up in GOTG, but I just don't think this version of Banner works in that environment.

Also, Re: The Flash - its been the best thing on TV for me. Whilst it started a little bit "baddy of the week" style stuff, it turned into some crazy epic story line TV show, that genuinely had me second guessing myself at every turn. Looking forward to season 2 :)

  14. I'm definitely calling it Turtle Divas from now on. Divas in a half shell - turtle power!

    :D Amazing.

That started as a joke between me and my friends. Keep it going. We tend to do the whole "the greater good" type thing so when anybody says Total/Turtle divas, you instantly follow up with "TURTLE DIVAS" hah.

  15. Isn't it that shows like total divas/TOWIE etc, are all staged, to the point where near on everything that happens is all bogus, IE the places they go/the reason they are there/who else is there etc. And I believe its only "reality" in so far as they get given a direction and are told just to go with the flow, hence why in the non turtle divas shows, most of the cast are airhead with huge muscles/short fuses and all get off with each other for 0 reason or worry for there own sexual health.

  16. Sucks to hear that dude but if you don't feel bad about it, then maybe it wasn't such a bad thing for it to be over? Can't really say if chucking the stuff out was good or bad, but you'd probably have to chuck it out at some point anyway.

Take some time to yourself and chill out, to fully let yourself get over it. Barring that go have a beer ha.

  17. For those into comic book movies, I'd highley recommend "The Weekly Planet", which is a comic book/comic book movie/action movie podcast hosted by two Aussie blokes that is very funny. they've just done their 100th episode as well !

Give them a search on Itunes and it should pop up.

  18. Yeah, I get that, although as I'm getting older and have done enough interviews, I do find its a combo of "find the right person for the role" but also heavy heapings of "do we as people like this guy/girl trying to get a job here" , IE there is way more personal input on this stuff than many would like to admit.

I might just be a bit jaded , but that's how I've found it both being the person having the interview (in some cases that worked out ok, other times not so much) but also as an employee currently hearing about others trying to come in ("oh god we'd never hire that person haha").

In terms of this interview I've just done, I missed off a few things but I also felt like I made a decent impression, by having a laugh/joke with them.

Again I'm not massively hopeful but I'll take whatever the outcome as a positive, and take that into other possible opportunities.

  19. I had an interview yesterday for a new job, (I currently have a full time job, although this is more money/better hours etc), and feel i did alright in the interview. Now playing the dreaded waiting game, but why is it you always come out of these things thinking of all the things you could have said? I planned out for alot of things, and answers came naturally to me during the interview, but the second I got outside, all I could think was "OH GOD, I FORGOT X/Y/Z....".

Not holding my hope out at the moment, because of the above, but you never know and hopefully at very least I'll be able to get some good feedback for future opportunity's.

  20. In terms of how dark something is, Black Butler may be up your street. If its a good story you're after, then I would recommend Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood, both are on Netflix.

I mentioned it earlier in this thread but Death Note reads a lot better due to the amount of wording involved, as in the anime its just long monologues at times. The final episode itself really kicks it off with amazing voice acting done from everybody involved.
