  1. Danny Burch was playing a stereotypical Green Street hooligan wasn't he? Shame that, the one interview I saw of him showcasing the gimmick he blew away everybody else. I'd like to see someone like Kris Travis given a chance at the next WWE British tapings, bar the shit tattoo he's class.

  2. the 'in house' tunes are fucking terrible, i know it's only music but it does generally ruin the ECW shows, music was such a big part of the show. I'd rather watch a scratchy old VHS rip than one of the polished versions.

Tell me about it. I loved by Simon Diamond and The Sinister Minister's / Mike Whipwreck theme. Suited their characters down to a tee. So when they came out to... THAT... it really ruined it for me.

As for the 350,000 number thing... I remember hearing that it has to be 1,000,000 to break even ($1 billion a month to break even?!?!?!) but that *IS* for the entire global figure. If they can get 500,000 + in time for Mania in the states, surely getting the rest from UK, Europe, Australia, etc won't be too difficult?

  3. Richards has tremendous execution and is a great athlete and seems to have his head screwed on outside the ring in interviews. His problem is he doesn't know his arse from his elbow when it comes to the mechanics of a wrestling match and telling stories. He's like Kurt angle was in 2003 with about 10 percent of the charisma.

  4. It was a bad stoppage. There's no denying it. The worst part for me as a selfish bastard is, Froch was getting back in the fight and it feels like we were robbed of what was about to become a real classic. Just when the momentum turned the ref jumped in and called the fight. And Groves wasn't given the same opportunity to recover as Froch was. It sucks but what can you do? Unless you can invent a robot ref that's perfect and never cocks up, this will happen from time to time. Sour note to end a great fight on. It happens sometimes.

Oh well, Pacquiao vs Rios in a bit.

The ref was favoring Froch throughout the whole fight, Froch should have had at least 3 points docked, one was a clear forearm smash when Groves was on the ropes, ref was eclipsed by the hype/crowd and went into business for himself. Bent as fuck.

  5. Wonderful story telling, these promoters sure know how to stack their bank accounts. Froch embracing the heel turn post-match saying they should have the re-match ''somewhere else'' was wonderful too, face in his home town, heel everywhere else. The double-turn was glorious.

Oh wait this is boxing isn't it?

  6. They fucked Ryback just like they fucked Bryan, shit scared to pull the trigger when they were both white hot. Ryback was on his way to becoming massive until they shat themselves and had a screwy finish against Punk in the cell. The only problem is Ryback is shit and Bryan isn't and ultimately becomes overexposed when he hasn't got the machine behind him, you protect guys like Ryback. The Daniel Bryan's of the world protect themselves.

  7. I'm not sure if this GIF has been posted already, but I love the possibility of it being the first hint at an eventual Roman Reigns baby face turn. If it ends up being a subtle, slow turn that turns him into the new Batista, then I'll spunk my balls off.

Was that not him just reacting to the booing? But yeah, he has all the marketability and the presence of a future Batista, cool as fuck.

  8. That was one of Cena's best promos he's ever done, when he's serious and on point dropping all the jokey shite that he tends to incorporate into his shtick when he's not arsed he's the best in the business on the mic. Within his limitations (and content) on the stick Bryan to his credit played his role like a diamond pressing Cena's buttons along the way.
