  1. Jerry Lynn :omg: i coulda stared at that all day and not got that.

As for the Briscoe's, literally the last time i saw either of them was back in the really old ROH/CZW days when they were stick thin teenagers, i stumbled across a recent pic of them recently and they look a right pair of mean fuckers, how are they in the ring these days?

They are really good, surprised WWE hasn't picked them up yet, good promo skills on the both of them aswell.

I think WWE not picking them has a lot more to do with the fact they're a PR nightmare...

"The Delaware Senate passed a bill yesterday that allows same sex couples to get married. If that makes you happy, then congratulations!!!!!!

... try and teach my kids that there's nothing wrong with that and I'll fucking shoot you"

What a Hill Billy, Conservative Christian thing to say...

  2. Ric Flair is obviously considered one of the great icons and workers in pro wrestling history. I love the guy, and have been entertained by him throughout his career, but I've always found the greatest worker tag a bit hard to agree with on account of the fact alot of his matches are the exact same, with those same 3 or 4 spots that Flair always does, and what was the cartoon fall to the mat all about??? Did he do that shit back in the NWA days?

  3. Nova said Bruce Prichard got sacked for pulling a gun on a creative guy!?!? What the fuck?!? I never knew Bruce P was a fuckin psycho?! Although he did give a shitty answer in his RF interview when asked about why he left....

  4. It really wont. People dont pay to hear Sunny's honest opinion on things. They pay (or download illegally) to see the car crash. To the audience Sunny is playing to, it wont matter if she lies about everything she speaks about. People interview her because she's a mess and easy to exploit for a few quid. And people watch to go "look at this mess".

    Fair point.

  5. A bit random, but Tammy Sytch aka Sunny said on her Breaking Kayfabe shoot that she often made stuff up on shoot interviews just to appear more interesting.... What a fucking STUPID thing to say... Who'd pay to hear her spraff shit now? At best she's lowered her value in the shoot industry, at worst, no cunt will touch her....

  6. Warrior was my absolute hero as a kid, even during the Attitude era when I was a teenager and loved Austin and the Rock, they didn't come close to Warrior.

Yeah me too - him & Savage.

That's why it always confuses me when people criticise him for blowing up, or his workrate, his rambling promos, etc. And no matter how hard people tried to bury him over the years, it just never worked on me - because I lived through the Warrior era and knew the appeal. Anyone who criticises him as a wrestler is missing the big picture. What's the business about? Making money. As a 10 year old kid, I didn't give a shit about workrate - I didn't even know what that was or meant; I just loved the Ultimate Warrior. I loved the character, I loved his intensity, I loved his look, I loved the tassles, I loved his promos, I loved watching his matches, and I bought his merchandise; as did millions of others. I don't care what they say about him, because I know first hand that what he did worked. And that's all that matters.

    A-fuckin-men to this...

  7. Devastating news... Warrior was a massive part of my childhood, feels like a punch in the gut...

I followed his post-wrestling web presence, and for the most-part found him engaging and interesting...

He had incredible self discipline, huge charisma and masses of creativity right to the end. Stuck to his principles and as someone said - it's awesome his last moments in the wrestling world were in his own words on his own terms.

His unapologetic eccentricities and intensity for everything he did in his life will be sadly missed. He connected with his audience in mass volume the way only the best performers can.

    So sad he's gone.

  8. Jim Cornette's breaking kayfabe is tremendous, man I love that guy. Such a master story teller, whether you agree or disagree with JC his passion and ability to story tell always makes for enthralling viewing.

  9. Russo had the idea of bringing the nWo into the WWF. Nobody bothered bringing up they did bring in the nWo and Hogan couldn't be a heel, Nash couldn't stay fit and Hall was usually to pissed up to work. There's fuck all logical about it. "Bring in three blokes who they brought in a few months after the Invasion". We all saw how it played out. Its probably the worst Guest booker they've ever done (and there have been some shit ones). It pretty much sums up Russo as a booker. He has little clue what he's talking about and pretty much tells you what ratingz each segment will get, even though most of the shit he has written over the last 15 years has bombed miserably. Just a rambling madman.

I don't think you can pick holes in his main thrust being the nWo just cause in reality Hogan got cheered at Mania, Hall was fucked on drugs and Nash got injured - I think the Guest Booker is more about fantasy booking rather than restricting the ideas with what happened in real life.

I think most fans would agree one of the most compelling invaders would be the nWo, and the way he sequences it I think made sense and had no 'RussoBullshit
