Look, I'm just trolling really. I don't really care whether they survive or go under but until it DOES happen i find all these stories really annoying. There's still a wrestling show to watch. I rip TNA equally on TNA fansite facebook pages for completely other reasons because you have the other end of the spectrum there where they truly believe TNA is better than WWE and always has been, which no one in their right mind could ever say.

 

As long as this crap continues to get 'leaked' every other week, the company has no chance of growing their audience and thus increasing their income, which allows them to put on a better show, and more guys get to work. Utterly counterproductive to the enjoyment of the business. I don't know what the sites will post about when TNA goes under. Hopefully it will affect their traffic and they will close too.

This all seems like a wonderful use of your time. 

I've enjoyed watching Styles settle into the WWE, yeah I knew who he was and saw him many years ago in the indies but not really followed him extensively but think he has done well, however if you didn't know about him or seen him then its going to be a struggle to buy into him as he hasn't got a character as such (not saying its a bad thing as he can make things work in the ring), in some respects he reminds me of Beniot and does his story telling in the ring and not on the mic (we'll leave any other comparisons there).

 

As for Raw this week.

 

Steph/Shane still doesn't feel right, its been said before but it doesn't feel like they are brother & sister. 

 

Rusev is only winning the US title to give Cena something to do when he comes back.

 

Ambrose promo sounded like something written for Bray Wyatt, didn't sit well with me although I am enjoying the Jericho/Ambrose feud, Jericho just seems to get better with each passing week. 

 

I still love Charlotte, I think she is miles ahead of the other Divas (or women, whatever they are being called this week).AGre

Agree with you wholeheartedly on the Jericho front.  His heel work has been so strong during this run he's largely stopped the smarks from chanting Y2J at him which is quite the accomplishment in the present climate.

If he was sticking around I'd happily have him get a run as a corporately endorsed world champ or something.

I've been trying to work out your maths for a good few minutes and still can't work it out. I'm shit at maths but feel I need to know now.

Raw 3 hours + Smackdown 2 Hours = 5 hours.

1 hour = 20% of programming so Smackdown is 40% at 2 hours and Raw is 60%

Maths though innit. 

The Smackdown side of a brand split wouldn't even get half of the roster, it'd get a third. Raw is 50% longer.

Not to be picky but means Smackdown would need 40% not a third. 

But Shane will jump off something high, possibly!

I've said it before and I've said it again. Ryback bores the shite out of me. 

I just don't see what aspect he's good at? Other than looking like a beast. 

Ryback gets a lot of positive press on here. I can't be the only one who finds him fast forward material surely.

Very much so. I watched it last night and cringed when I heard two supposedly old-school guys not use the word "wrestling" once. I don't think the company realises how ridiculous a sentence like "When I was 14 I only wanted to be a sports entertainer" sounds.

Rugby also does it with Ref link. This is something that is very do-able for an organisation like WWE.

SmackDown spoiler, doesn't relate much to RAW but relates to the general discussion on this thread of WWE's direction as a company.

 

Tyler Breeze debuts on SmackDown and is hit with Summer Rae. This company has no idea what to do with anyone. I mean who debuts on a SmackDown these days?

 

She's a kiss of death. Awful in every respect, and I'd even say uglier than Bayley.

 

It's harsh to say she's uglier than Bayley, but Summer does have a problem in that looks-wise, she is an uglier version of the prototypical diva. Paige is really good-looking but can get away with physical flaws because she's got her own niche. Bayley's ugliness is part of her gimmick, kind of. And for Summer, the role of Bootleg Lana was perfect -- but separated from that, she'll struggle again.
