Who would have thought the best booking policy would be "Just let the Hardy's do whatever the fuck they feel like"
-
TJ Detweiler is a cracking reference.
I remember during the Summer Holidays the Disney channel used to show the Recess Film everyday.
I can't imagine their schedulers worked particularly hard.

I always did. Slept with both throughout my teens and twenties. Just so happened all my long term partners were girls.
-
I am bisexual and dated guys for TEN YEARS... then got with a girl that I knew since we were in our teens. How weird is that!?
I'm similar to be fair. 4 long term relationships with girls. Followed by one with a guy.
Now I'm alone . . .

I can't believe this is generating this much discussion. You all need more in your lives.

Thing that hacks me off with that bollocks Is seeing Owens and Zayn in the same room but NOT fighting, these 2 have a feud going back years and hate each other, now they are restrained enough to sit 10 feet away from each other eating hot dogs. Fucking Vince, I swear he is backward, his humour reminds me of the retards who come into town once a month on giro day and sit outside Tesco throwing things and tripping each other up.
This is on there TV aswel, it's one thing having Owens and Zayn say they are really best mates on the Network where kids might not watch, but to stick it on Raw I just don't get it. I'm an grumpy old cunt I think *sigh*
See now that's a legitimate gripe I can get behind. They should be looking to murder each other all the time.
Tbh if you look at them as future main eventers (many do particularly KO) they shouldn't be anywhere near a segment like that. Rollinss, Styles, Cena, Ambrose weren't there. Why should the 'New Era' stars be?

Really? A jumping the shark moment? It was a throw away gag in a food fight.
If your enjoyment of something is completely ruined by a POV camera angle it's a little sad . . . I'd also warn you off some porn videos.

The Cruiserweight Anthology collection has one of the much hyped matches between Paul London and Akio
Man I remember watching those at the time and thinking 'Vince can't be watching Velocity' They were doing expolders into the corners and all sorts (not such a big deal now but it was way out of place at the time).

Ray Fucking Purchase . . .

The irony of course being that now he's brilliant they don't have anything for him at Battleground. I actually find the idea of him vs The Miz heel vs heel an entertaining one.

Rollins has worn suits a few times -- the problem is his character is a bit more refined than the band t-shirt/stupid cap combo he wears in real life, so it's probably easier to just slap on the wrestling gear and t-shirt than the suit usually.
Roman Reigns wrestles in trousers anyway so it'd be silly and pointless of him to wear other trousers, same as John Cena (and Ambrose, and the Wyatts, and to a lesser extent Kevin Owens). And Reigns usually wears his latest t-shirt if he's only out for a talk with no match.
It would be good if everyone did have their "non-wrestling" outfit but really, who even needs one? Most of them don't do much besides wrestling.
I think it depends on the character. Jericho has always been a good example of what to wear outside of the ring for your character. The flashy shirts, spangly waist coats of the Y2J days. The suit wearing "Best in the world at what I do" says suited the character down to the ground. And now the Scarf, waist coat combo works amazingly for the "Gift of Jericho" era . . . Drink it in maaaaan.

The owners putting themselves in the show in any capacity is usually shit, never mind when they're some smarky bloggers.
Tell that to Progress.

Zhè jiùshì dǐxiàn bīnglěng rú shí zhème shuō
I hope that translates to "why don't they just re-hire Funaki"
He is the number 1 announcer for the Japanese announce team
And he's EVIL!

Google translate suggests it's "and that's the bottom line, because stone cold said so" but it won't translate back the other way.
Wouldn't use mandarin to appeal for the rehiring of a Japanese wrestler

I honestly can't understand anyone watching Raw live every week. I love wrestling but if I gave over three hours to Raw every week (and forget about Smackdown), I'd not be able to watch anything else.
I have a full time job, a dog to walk, a young son to spend time with, household stuff that needs done and a wife that likes to spend some time with me too. The time I have to watch wrestling is limited to a few hours a week anyway and I'm damned if I'm going to spend that time watching mindless WWE filler.
I think my situation is fairly normal, so I suspect my reaction to it (don't watch it live, seek out highlights, if there are any, later) is pretty normal too.
You can't be a wrestling fan? Not the ones I've seen.

18 million. You just picked a number there didn't you
Does TNA even have 18 million viewers?
. . . it did that night.
I will applaud this even if no one else does.
I'll even take credit for it. Cus thats what you do - gotta take credit for everything
Thanks. I was disappointed how quickly Nash-isms seem to have been forgotten.
-
That can't be true. I'm not looking it up to check. I like it the way I remember it.
"X-PAAAAAAC!"
-
Thanks for that
Seems things may not be so dire for WWE at all then really.

In North America you'd have to say. I guess New Japan is bigger?
-
Have TV ratings generally followed a downward trend in the same way?
-
It's as logical as TNA's booking. It's at the very least an homage.

They were really good on Worldwide together. Seemed like Bobby Heenan was having fun for the first time in years.
Here they are doing a WWF Collisum Video style skit.
Lovely stuff. Still amazing to think that WCW had the Power Plant nearly 20 years ago. Considering how proud HHH is of his performance centre, it's not as revolutionary as he'd love you to think.
Lets be honest-WWE has been built on taking somebody else's good idea and making it their own. Wrestlemania, Attitude era, NXT, performance centre. All of them copies of something else. WWE rarely have original ideas. The next thing they will steal is Lucha Underground
But wasn't the Power Plant pretty crap by all accounts? Whereas the Performance Centre out strips most professional sporting facilities.
