  1. Here it is TheBigBoot, I could have done a bit better if it was 1999 becuase The Rock would have been main event levels, and he would have fit in better. Just say this is set in June 1998, HBK found the ability to work one more match with Bret (Hey, it's fantasy!) and note Goldberg isn't WCW World Champ yet. Also, Nash and Hall are still mates, even though Nash had already started the Wolfpac by now without Hall. The lack of talent in the WWF's Light Heavyweight division makes things very hard to match the force of WCW's Cruiserweights, infact they really let me down.

  2. That would've helped to improve what turned to be an absolutely shit Wrestlemania.

Jumping the gun already, but if Sting does come in and it's not just a one shot deal, Vince should be pleading with HBK to get back in the ring; Sting vs Michaels at Summerslam would be as much of a dream match as vs Taker at WM!

Shit Wrestlemania? I guess it doesn't look good inbetween 17 and 19 (In my opinion the two best Wrestlemania's they have done), but 18 was much better than any of the other's that decade other than the two I have mentioned and perhaps 23.

Yeah. WrestleMania X8 wasn't that bad in my memory. RVD vs. Regal, Christian vs. DDP, Kane vs. Kurt Angle, Hogan vs. The Rock, and Triple H vs. Chris Jericho. Even the women's match was good from what I can remember.

I think the only thing that was wrong with it mainly, was Stone Cold's heart not being in it. Undertaker Vs Ric Flair was alot of fun as well.

  4. El Santo pisses all over Hashimoto in the biggest name never to work in New York stakes in my eyes. I don;t think he worked for the McMahons to my knowledge.

Am most likely wrong, although im sure he may of done a "one off" for them way way back. Will check it out!

Edit: Could find any evidence, although i may be thinking of Mil Mascaras!

Yeah, Mil Mascararas eliminated himself from the 1997 Royal Rumble. About that "Biggest Wrestler To Never Work For WWE" role, could it be Jushin Thunder Liger or The Great Muta?

Really? how old was he in 1997?

I was reffering to Mascaras wrestling in WWE way back when it may of been WWWF, although again i may be thinking of sombody else.

He was 54 when he was in the Rumble. Having a little search around, he did make some appearences in the late 70s and mid 80s as well. Here he is teaming with Tito against Demolition:

  6. Theres not really enough time to build a meaningful Sting Vs Triple H match though is there? Hunter probably won't be back until around the same time as Sting is supposed to appear on Raw, and he needs his revenge feud with Sheamus. Same with Undertaker, he needs to do one more match with Kane to settle the score, and then turn his attention to Wade Barrett and his gang. Theres just no time, which is very worrying.

  7. I just don't see why WWE would go to so much effort for 'Taker. He's only been away since October - usually it's a little longer when they give him a big buildup, or they have him show up after a PPV?

It does seem a little strange, as I don't really see how anyone could take it for something other than a letdown given the "mystery" element to the vignette, but I still think that's who it probably is.

It has been 2 months longer (I mean until Wrestlemania it's self when he will probably wrestle again for the first time) than the last time he was buried alive by Kane and Vince McMahon at Survivor Series 2003, and I they did all the gongs and everything creeping out Kane since the Royal Rumble match. I'm sure there was simular video packages as well.

  8. It would be one of my biggest wrestling dreams to see Sting come to the WWE properly, face Undertaker at Wrestlemania, headline the Hall of Fame, get a DVD, confront Vince McMahon about WCW being dead live on Raw, and then walk into the darkness and leave. But it's not going to happen, The Undertaker is going to face Wade Barrett or Kane at Wrestlemania, Sting is never going to get his HOF treatment, and he is going to stay in TNA for a couple of years until it goes out of buisness and he retires for good. Sorry to be negative, but that is what I see for the future.

  9. I have a Virgin + box and I was wondering if I ordered the Royal Rumble can you record the live event?

Nope, you can't im affraid. The repeats are all day tommorow, with the last one starting at 9 at night if you wanted to watch it Monday anyway.

  10. The thing I found most interesting was Shawn Michaels being involved in the MOTY almost every year yet not winning the wrestler of the year. I'll need to look back over the 2006 shows though because I can't bring myself to believe that Edge vs. Mick Foley, as fun as it was, was the best match of 2006. Even in WWE.

I really enjoy watching that match back, but I would have thought that either Kurt Angle/Undertaker (No Way Out) or Kurt Angle/Samoa Joe (Genesis) would have won for 2006.
