Tyrone and Maria were boyfriend and girlfriend many years ago. Tyrone worked at a Dog Kennell's and Maria was the daughter of his Boss. Stone Cold started bleeding quite early on in a First Blood match with Kane, IIRC. He got a cut on his back from a chair shot. The commentators tried explaining it away "it's not ENOUGH blood for the ref to call the match" but in the end it was bleeding enough that it pretty much ruined the match.

I thought the blood had to come from the head, for the match to stop?

Yeah they made the switch to the "mesh" cage in 1999, I believe the one on Raw in May between Trips and Rock was the first, notable exceptions being the Rebellion 99 main event (Rock v HHH), Kennel from Hell as you noted, and the aforementioned Rebellion 2001 E vs C scrap.

 

Bit weird when that happened, I remember thinking "that cage looks like one WcW uses." No doubt they made the change when someone who had been in a Hell In A Cell match pointed out how much more give the mesh has, the old blue bars reportedly hurt like fuck.

Did they use the black St Valentines Day Massacure cage at Rebellion because it fit easier on the plain?

The new bloke is as bad an actor as Linda McMahon and Dixie Carter put together in my opinion, and I can't see Rita going now to be honest, they usualy do something like a heart attack or something for a legend.

Lloyd is stealing the fucking shiz-ow tonight. Probably due to his Red Dwarf experience, he's one of the few you would trust to kick down doors and move in a "there's no time" way. Great showing so far from him. I didnt know why he didnt just Bazookoid the door down.

Best of the 90s came out in 2001 anyway, but it was a fun little tape to watch. It may have been released by WWF as well, as it wasn't Warner Bros, it was "Wrestle Vision", and there was a double tape set released of that and Wrestlemania 17.

It was reported in 2000 that FMW's VHS releases were outselling WCW's videos. FMW might have had a cult following, but can you imagine how shit interest in WCW must have been to be outsold by a Japanese promotion?

Warner Home Video only released 4 or 5 WCWs in 2000 (In shops at least), but I'm guessing the FMW tapes were mail order ones?!

Nope, none of them. They were bad enough with their VHS releases in the UK and in the US as well.

Tommorow night the first ever episode of Corrie goes head to head with Eastenders, which should be interesting.

I was sure the reason that Corrie was split on a Monday was because back in the days when soaps moved from 2 to 3 days Ie Eastenders went to a Monday as well, they went head to head and such was the division of audiences they both lost viewer share. Thus the split Corrie was born so that viewers can watch both

The two new/normal episodes of Coronation Street are on before and after Eastenders as usual (7.30 and 8.30), but I guess tommorow only the rule doesn't apply as the old one is on inbetween.
