So January 7th is "live" (2 hours later on a tape-delay), January 8th will be taped for January 16th, and January 9th will be live? Wow.
No, I think 7th is live, then 2 tapings on 8th and maybe 9th? Impact's first show on Destination America is Weds 7th, and then it moves to its new Friday slot on 16th.
-
TNA have announced the following for the NYC tapings:
Â
"On Thursday, January 8 at the Manhattan Center, the Wolves will face The Hardys. During the summer and fall of 2014, tag team wrestling came alive but it first started in NYC when these same two teams first clashed at Destination X. On that night, the Wolves won the first meeting and this match on January 8 is the Hardy’s chance to even the score.
Â
On Friday, January 9th, TNA is bringing the six-sides of steel for an episode of Impact. For the first time ever, LOCKDOWN will be on broadcast TV with every match contested inside the steel cage during this very special episode on Destination America.  The first place you can see this great night of action is LIVE in NYC."
Â
With Lockdown being on free TV, I wonder if that means TNA are scrapping PPVs? Or maybe just having Slammiversary and BFG as PPVs?

What is up with the Briscoe match? Awful! When did it take place? I have never really seen them wrestle, but I have read positive things about them.
-
Sorry, this may have been posted elsewhere, but the WWE TLC ppv has been renamed 'WWE Tables, Ladder, Chairs....and Stairs'
Â

TNA are absolutely fucked. They have been for about 18 months now. Even if they get a TV deal, what's the point? So they can lose more money on people showing up in their hundreds? Its on its arse. At least Psygnosis is still left..
And you, Ian, considering how often you post in this thread
Â
Watching Bound for Glory on Challenge now. The wrestling has been good, and the TNA v Wrestle-1 theme is something different. However, it certainly feels more like a one-off special of Impact or 'One Night Only' ppv, as opposed to TNA's 'Wrestlemania'. Will be interesting to see where TNA goes next- apparently their tv announcement will be coming over the next few weeks.

I've still got my copy of the programme around somewhere. The cropping on the picture of Scorpio is spectacularly poor
Â
Bagga has got better at the cropping of images, judging by a recent poster:
Â
Â
Design and attention to detail skills seem to be lacking still, though (the random 'D' at the bottom of the telephone number, for example)

Christ! What were they thinking? What were the injuries?

Isthe most controversial WWE tag team ever?
Â
Brilliant!

I apologise if this has been answered in this thread (on this very page perhaps) but I've avoiding reading in case of spoilers...
Â
Could someone please tell me if the Impact episodes taped in New York start this coming Thursday, or have I missed one that aired already?
Â
Thanks.
Â
I believe the first one airs on 17th July (so 20th July over here).
-
Â
Fair to say they missed the boat there.
Â
To be fair, would you have hired him after that match? His look is pretty meh, and the match is a bit shit. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Before I watched the trailer, I thought 'not another British wrestling documentary!?'. Having now watched this, I must say I am looking forward to
-
Also, maybe it is an attempt to boost attendance numbers.? Didn't WWE start doing some title switches etc at house shows, when their numbers were dropping (obviously no where near TNA's awful numbers, but still...)? Sort of like 'anything can happen when you go to a WWE/TNA live show!'. I seem to remember them showing house show footage on RAW and SD as well- Eddies' s mum or nan having a heart attack springs to mind.
-
Not a fan of that poster, to be honest. Lots of 'dead' space in the red box at the bottom. The rotund gentlemen looks too BritWres!~, and one of the wrestlers at the back has no head.
-
That is a shocking attendance. Like others have said, even small indy groups pull in bigger crowds! TNA are going to need to do good numbers at their shows coming up over here.
Â
With regards to that photo from Genesis- I am watching now on Challenge, and it is clear that the ringside seats (which are empty in that photo) are actually full.
-
Just had a look at Ticketmaster, to see how sales are going for Genesis on 16th Jan (because I am sad like that...). Still a lot of seats available, and they are only use the corner of the arena.

I hope i'm wrong but doesn't IANdrewDiceClays's post above have a spoiler for UK pace TNA viewers like myself?
Â
That's what I thought!

TNA have put quite a few of their"Best of..." DVD releases on to their YouTube channel!

TNA have put some of their 'Best of...' DVD releases on their YouTube channel, including Sting, Joe, Hardy and "Bloodiest Brawls". Worth checking out if you have a couple of hours spare!

NEW EPISODE UP... It's kind of a biggie. Jushin Liger, D-Lo Brown, Uhaa Nation, Kharma, SoCal Val, Kevin Steen, Johnny Kidd, that big lad from 'The Chase', Doug Williams and Bob Holly all pop in. That's a mean guest star list.
Â
Hope you all enjoy it, lot of work put in. If you like it so much, whore it out Merry Xmas from the SciFi Team.
Â
This is brilliant! I haven't seen any of the PC: Fiction videos before- just been checking out the rest. The TMNT one is great, too!

Cesaro was great on The Main Event. The bloke is incredibly strong. The people love him as well.

Â
I really don't follow much WWE these days, so have seen much of Brodus Clay or Cesaro. I think Cesaro looks great, and is incredibly strong. Clay looks awful- I like the gimmick etc, but he just seemed really off wrestling wise. Was this just him having a bit of an off match, or is he generally a bit crap?
