  1. Due to NWA, I've become a little obsessed with Ricky Morton. However, I just checked out his wrestling school website and YouTube channel, and it was all very... meh, bordering on shitarsery. I don't really have any more to say, but wanted to share my disappointment with those that might care.

  2. I couldn't get in to the episode this week, for some reason. I share the love for Morton and Tim Storm, but Aldis is grating on me a bit (and not in a 'that's the job of a heel' way). The whole Ric Flair tribute act is eye-rolley. I also agree with some of the previous posts about giving the aesthetics a bit of a refresh- I like the studio setup, but it doesn't have to look like it's stuck in the 80's. The retro ads, graphics etc. could make it confusing to the viewer as well- is this a genuine wrestling promotion, or a parody? I better run and hide now, as I know that's not a popular opinion!

Power is the only wrestling show that I watch now, so they are doing something right! Into the fiiirrreeee

  3. I am not sure if you are joking Snitsky, but I was referring to the overall video, not specifically Holt's "I'm glad it's for charity" line.... I guess it just frustrates me that whenever wrestling in this country has a chance to show off to the general public, the presentation is always meh at best- Joe Bloggs probably won't care about the WWE UK tournie, unless they are a wrestling fan, but they might take a look if a social media post or newspaper article is saying that a prem footballer is going to be having a go as a wrestler, and then they see something like that video..... I'll keep quiet now.

  4. Good show, overall. Having Don Callis on commentary and a crowd that sort of seemed like they wanted to be there helped. Scott Steiner hitting a Frankensteiner in 2018 was all sorts of amazing. Great main event, and the hardcore match was fun. It's being uploaded on to the GWN app on Wednesday, and you can get 1 month free, so if you have some time, I'd recommend checking it out.

  5. Impact have announced that their WrestleCon event during Wrestlemania weekend will be a joint show with Lucha Underground, and will be streamed on their Twitch.

    Press release:

  6. So this is slightly odd, but I was watching the legacy of Steve Austin yesterday, and I started thing about wrestlers and shaving. Austin is a tough old Texas lad, but bar his goatee, he is clean shaven (I can't comment on the areas under his attire). Can you imagine him or any other of these bona-fide tough guy superstars shaving their legs in the shower?...
