  1. The Master got given a new cycle of re-gens to fight in the Time War though did he not? And only survived prior to that by taking over the bodies of other people; i.e. the '96 film.

  2. It is quite funny seeing all the teenage girls saying they're never going to watch Doctor Who again because Tennant is leaving though.

A bit of an anti-climax but I have faith that they've picked a suitable guy, and I'm going to wait and see him in action in it before judging.

  3. For a process which changes your entire face and body, is turning black really out of the realms of possibility? It's like saying how can a short Doctor regenerate into a tall Doctor.

  4. If they were to bring an actor back as the doctor i would like to see Anthony Head as the Doc.

Patrick Stewart would be good if they went down the dark route that Moffatt wants.

Despite that i still think it will be a woman.

The one thing we know for certain is that it will not be a woman, because David Tennant describes the new doctor as 'This chap'.

Onegalifrey one its got the follwing posted

Piers Wenger is quoted as saying: "We believe the actor is going to bring something very special to the role and will make it absolutely their own. I just can't wait to tell everyone who it is - it has been a nail-biting Christmas trying to keep this under wraps!"

The release from the BBC Press Office confirms that the Confidential episode has been retitled "The Eleventh Doctor" (it was formerly advertised as "The Ten Doctors"), and will feature the actor concerned giving his or her thoughts on having been cast.

Its worth noiting that none of the references are gender specific which is why wouldn't rule out a female Dr.

How come no one seems to use actress any more? Actor should in theory limit it to a male. I don't know why but for a little while I've been thinking that maybe it'l be the actor who plays Merlin, in, Merlin (unsurprisingly). He's younger than Tennant; with being younger than Tennant being rumoured to be a requirement. And Merlin doesn't need the same actor as surely some time is going to advance in the "gap" between Series 1 and 2.

  7. Hang on, I feel almost stupid to ask this, but did Benoit kill his child with something like a crippler crossface?

From what I understand, he smothered him with a pillow as he slept.
I read somewhere that it may have been a chokehold. That's probably bollocks, though.
At the press conference it was said that the kid was dead in his own bed, so take from that what you will.

Reading that has made me feel sick :(

  9. Do you think when the Cops arrived at the scene and found the bodies they lifted each of their arms three times to make sure they were really out?

Sorry Ally, but that's just too much. If it was just about Benoit then maybe, but, not when it's about a 7 year old kid and his mother too.
  10. Think about it. Benoit not only tied up and killed a woman, but he killed a child. He murdered a seven year old with his bare hands. If you can still praise him and not condemn him after this, then seriously, get help.

That's the most horrible horrible bit of all of this :(Earlier I posted saying how Benoit was a great wrestler regardless of this situation, but I just want to make it clear that I completely condemn what he did, and there is no excuse whatsoever for doing what he did. There's always going to be a massive massive black cloud over his name and his memory, and his great wrestling ability can never, and should never, change that. I'm not saying go and burn all your posters, t-shirts and DVD's (although I honestly don't think I can ever wear my Benoit t-shirt ever again) and that you aren't allowed to enjoy his wrestling work because quite frankly he has produced a lot of great entertainment, but you simply can't escape from what he did.
  11. One thing that is really apparent in my mind is, the way that, you can watch someone for years and years and because of that, it feels like you know what they are like, what they are capable of and what they are not capable of, but, then in reality, you don't know as much about the person as you think you did, if anything at all. I think we can all agree that he was a great wrestler regardless. But of course, at this moment, wrestling doesn't matter, it's not important. I guess what I'm trying to say is, maybe it's possible to completely condemn him killing his wife and kid (that's the saddest saddest bit of all this :(, I don't know what causes someone to kill their own child), but to also remember and appreciate him as a great wrestler who brought us lots of entertainment. I know it's true for me that, at the moment, I've got both of those things in my head, and it's just really hard to comprehend it all.
