If it is made abundantly clear to everyone that their money is not guaranteed if banks fail, then the government should have no obligation to bail out banks.
Dear Happ Hazzard,
Â
I am opening up a new bank. I offer a whopping 10% interest on any money you deposit with me. Your money is not guaranteed.
Â
I look forward to your deposit.

Bank of Neil
Can you give him a loan, and the re-possess his internet access when he can't pay it back?

At least you said it, unlike your sig which is something that John Lister said.
Oh really......

If your idea of "engaging in a sensible adult conversation" equates to "listening to liberal views, realising they are the correct ones to have, and going away an affirmed liberal", you are right, I am unable to engage in a sensible adult conversationÂ
See, this nifty quote thing demonstrates that you did in fact say the contents of quote in Loki's sig. Now of course, you can argue that it is out of context, but you did indeed say those words in that particular order in the same sentence whereas you've simply taken statements from different places and joined them together to imply a different meaning, exactly like

It's clearly Undertaker in the cabin, but like others have said, surely there's a different person outside too? Maybe we'll get the usual 'Taker return but then this other person will show up too. I've given up on Sting now though.

Shite game. For all Moore the Mong says it's "Exciting for the neutral" I thought it was terrible. England were poor, we were worse. At this rate my crafty tenner on Scotland looks good.
It was nowhere near the classic that everyone is making out. Whilst England weren't great or anything, I think poor is a tad harsh. They locked-down the game well and never really looked threatened for a lot of the game. Nowhere near good enough going into a World Cup year mind you, but a decent enough base to build upon for them. As for us, god we were woeful; not sure if it's just me but I always think that we look clueless and have no idea how to structure our game.
Â
Fucking gutted that Italy seemingly win it and then fucking lose it again straight away
-
Not got a good feeling about tonight but hopefully we can somehow pull off a result. Maybe England can self-destruct again
-
It's cheesy as anything but also pretty damn great, especially for JR's reactions. And the worst rendition of a national anthem ever

Personally, the tram reminded me of something from a theme parks back-lot tour ride in which the train that you are in stops on the "explosion set" and "oh noes, the set is about to blow up"

No doubting England were awful, and thus a golden chance for Italy to get something out of them after going close two years ago as well. Towards the end there's no doubting that they had England in a position in which they could and probably should have beaten them. Not saying it was a golden performance from Italy, far from it, but it was more like they are capable of playing. A properly functioning England team would have wiped the floor with them though, obviously.
-
Gutted; really had England for the taking but couldn't finish them off. Much better from Italy this week.
-
What an amazing meltdown from Scotland! I'm glad we won but I don't think we really deserved it, and I'm worried that everyone will just paper over the cracks again though. A great ending to the game though, and am always glad when we win, deserved or not.

Why the hell are they covering an incident in a fucking completely different sport in the Ireland-France coverage; they don't mention Maradona when England play Argentina in rugby

I was sent a friend message on facebook by the WWEs Sheamus recently. (Well..I think he thinks he is Sheamus)
Not light enough. I met Sven Goran Errikson at Highbury once, shook his hand too. Seen Edge as well, got his autograph before a house show in Birmingham 4 or 5 years ago.

Italy/England was a woeful excuse for a game of rugby, both teams were abysmal.
Â
what the hell were Italy thinking putting Bergamasco at scrum half? that's gonna go down in history as one of the worst decisions/performances in history.
And it doesn't help that it took so long for them to bloody change it either. He's a horrible horrible scrum-half, and at least thankfully we'll never see him in that position again.

Surely expanding and explaining it was anything with a reflection created a bigger sense of threat and panic, because once it was determined that simply avoiding water wasn't enough then the characters below deck were still in danger. Plus it opened the way for the Captain's greed and love of treasure to result in the implied death of his son which was critical in showing him the error of his ways and allowed him to get his priorities right. In the overall scheme of things it was an unimportant episode so that lessens the blow of it being a everybody dies but comes back at the end episode.
Â
I'm really enjoying the new series and digging Smith. There just seems to be a lot more meaning and deepness to the episodes; previously this episode could well have been a jolly pirate romp with talking parrots and Rory getting drunk on grog.
