  1. Not seen this posted anywhere and while its only a rumour at present, it would explain Del Rios black eye.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the reason World Heavyweight Champion Alberto del Rio looked so banged up in his match against Christian Sunday night, is that he may have been involved in a physical altercation with fellow WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre.

While details are scarce, rumor has it that the two got into it backstage this weekend before SummerSlam, and the fight may have involved a few others.

  2. With dangerously420 being suspended for a few months already, and allstar69 looking as though he is going the way of the ban, will the winner be the person in third place?

EDIT: Dammit, Carbomb already asked the question.

  3. What has wrestling come to? Years ago, the trainers or 'locker room leaders' would weed out the weak who couldn't take a beating or two. Wrestling, for all intents and purposes, is a contact 'sport'. I'm sure every wrestler has taken a stiff shot at least once. Whether it was intentional or not, calling the fuzz just takes the biscuit and makes the whole thing laughable.

As has been pointed out, take the matter backstage and if there was any wrong doing, sort it out like men. If you get hit for real, either give out a receipt, or show abit of professionalism and take it up after the show.

  4. Just seen that the BBC have posted the list of nominees for the 2013 Oscars. Its a biggish list so i'll put them in spoiler tags.

    Bond tribute

The Oscars ceremony will also be hosted by MacFarlane, who created the animated series Family Guy.

It has already been announced that the star-studded event will feature a tribute to 50 years of the James Bond movie franchise.

"We are very happy to include a special sequence on our show saluting the Bond films on their 50th birthday," said the producers of the Oscars show, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

The nominations are selected by a ballot of 6,000 members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

A total of 24 categories will be announced, including the best acting performances of the year and technical awards in areas such as editing, design and music.

Nominations for this year's awards are being announced two weeks earlier than usual.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences said the move would "provide members and the public a longer period of time to see the nominated films".

The Bafta nominations were announced on Wednesday with Lincoln leading the way in 10 categories.

  5. At the risk of setting myself up for a fall, he hasn't posted anything else that would mark him out as ne of them though, has he?

Only other post of Mr Butternut Squash' I can see along those lines is in the Smackdown thread. He ends his post with ''Rest of the show was the same old shit, especially the end with Cena and Sheamus looking invincible again.''

  6. ATTENTION: PacMan

You have been reported for being shit. From your post history I would agree. You have one week to turn it around before getting banned.

    No. I don't have a "gimmick".

    What does that achieve exactly?

Well done on turning it around, but at least your point count is going up.
