  1. Apparently they're not twins. The one in the glasses is younger. She'd stand in and pretend to be the other one on occasions but never wanted to be on it properly. There's also apparently another older brother too who's away at uni. I'm surprised they came back after the Dad failed to get elected for UKIP.

She'd stand in? Shit, well there's a 'scandal' article about misleading viewers for a rainy day.

  2. PUPPIES... Fucking hell, everyone says it. Hearing Michael Cole casually saying it as general vernacular is jarring. Lawler is legit awful on the cans, from 1999 onwards he's just screaming about tits. He has his moments of good stuff but they all tend ti be story fed lines.

I'm only in January, the Radicals has arrived. Also Mae Young is absolutely fucking top notch. She's brilliant.

  3. Fancy dress party, uni years, 2007. I had fantastic long girly hair, a running joke clean shaven on the face how I resembled a woman. So my lass flatmates decided I'd dress as that for the party. Went to meet our flatmate coming back from the offie and next to our halls was a notorious curb crawling area. Idiot me waited there.

How did I get out of it. Told them I wasn't a prostitute, I was a student. They sodded off and said 'have a good night love'. Bastards.

  4. People voted for the Nazis Jeremy.

Anyway yeah, Springsteen is fantastic, not too keen on his 90's period, but from his early works up until his mega 80's boom he's amazing. The 2000's were good to him as well. As a live show he just gives you tune after tune, as opposed to a U2 gig with a song followed by a soliloquy by a tax dodging tinker.

Herbie, what's your pick of the music? Who you into out of curiosity.

  5. According to IMDB it's 2hrs 15mins. I know there is an extended version on the 2 Disc DVD and the 35th anniversary bluray which clocks at 2hr 26mins

Yeah there was a preview screening one that clocked another 20 minutes. They recorded and filmed 'Sinked the Bismark' for the country bunker scene. Got cut, never seen again. Plus some more minor bits and car chases.

  6. The Blues Brothers is the fucking business. It can be as long as it wants. It clocks in at 140 mins I think. There's actually an extra 20 minutes that vanished between screen testing and it's release. You can actually see bits never seen in the film in the trailer. Whole song numbers were filmed and vanished.

    I love the Blues Brothers.
