Absolutely the business needs more Goldberg, Brock Lesnar Roman Reigns types. That's how the business was for nearly 40 years and there was nothing wrong with that model.

Always scheduled, just cut for time. Bezerker/Bulldog flat out missed the card. Better to do Owen/Skinner quick because Skinner was expendable and they had better plans for Bully and Bezerker.

My major memory of him was from the Legends Vs Jeff Jarrett match in WCW, George Steele turned up, did his schtick, leading into Jimmy Snuka splashing Jarrett as well. From there I went back and saw his stuff with Macho, from all those years ago.

 

What was the deal with WM3, was Steele supposed to be in that match with Savage?

He was there as he feuded on/off with Savage for a year prior. Peak of his run, a fun character. Good age for a wrestler to reach.

Women's wrestling is fine as well. It's aimed a lot more at young girls with characters like Bayley and Becky Lynch about. Granted you still get fucking oddballs like weird blokes with cardboard cut outs of Paige, but generally the audience for women has shifted, in ring wise.

Went Paris for New Year's. Besides it being cold it was a fantastic time. The Tower of Terror is a superb ride, adore it. The Rock n Rollercoaster might just gave the cheesiest pre-ride vignette I have ever seen. Much better obviously than Hong Kong, but that's still in early days.

The Festival of Friendship was so spot on. Who came up with that, it had so many bits. Jericho putting Friendship on the list, the heartfelt bit where Jericho laid out how much fun he's had, right to the reveal. Proper felt for him. The Jericho/HBK callback was a great touch. Outstanding stuff.
